How did they get passed all the other countries? I know some of them got kidnapped by the cartels in Mexico. I'm a Mexican American and this pisses me off seeing a bunch of Venezuelans at our border trying to force their way in having a pity party. It's disrespectful. Fix your own country for your future generations.!

The US has been thriving for centuries by the benefits of hard working immigrants who WANT to work.\nThere is so many jobs that need to be filled and people rather be homeless and beg, than make a future and an honest living for themselves!

It’s really sad that people see no future or safety where they are at. They’re willing to flee on foot with children and little else to walk hundreds of miles just to hopefully make their kids lives better. There has got to be a better way to help these people. I don’t know the answers but I also don’t get paid to know them. As someone who has sympathy for my brothers and sisters no matter where they were born this just hurts my heart.

They really need to do all this, yes 100% BUT in their own country, not a foreign land that they want as their future home. We already have problems here that we can't fix.

As an immigrant from Europe who came to the US legally, I'm very appalled that people have such low moral values that even when they're told no, they still come here illegally. I moved here because I like traveling, I come from a former communist country. However my country wasn't always safe, we had to fight for decades to make it safe. None of these immigrants care enough about their countires to make it safe for future generations, instead they leave. Remember, you're not an asylum seeker. An asylum seeker goes to the nearest country that's safer, the US and Canada are usually not that close.

This is deplorable and it’s going to destroy our country in so many ways. First, our social, educational, and criminal systems cannot absorb this many people all at once. We have enough people immigrating here legally. Reality check. This incident is only the beginning. If developed countries fail to address the disparity between wealthy and developing countries it will be commonplace for economic refugees attempting to enter countries by forceful means. \nYou can't really blame them. \nIt used to be people wanting a better life, it will become a matter of survival for them in the future.

As a teen right now that has immigrant parents all I can say this is not what I expected from immigrants I know that they want freedom and a better life but this not what they should’ve done to get into America yes I know they struggle but you just can’t force yourself into getting what you want this is just wrong but I do wish the best for these people to be able to hopefully achieve a better future for themselves
