Why do we give Mexico millions of dollars for their military and policing. Obviously they are not using it for that. Mexico should be renamed to whatever the most powerful cartel is. The whole government is part of the billions made off of drug and human trafficking. The resorts that people all over the world go and enjoy are owned by cartels, and the Mexican government is in on it. That wall sure would be helpful now more than ever. DISGUSTING, allowing this mess. Just for more votes and tax prayers.

Why not set up a program financed by their home country and ours to get them physically and financially healthy to work or start businesses in their home country? The cost of living is so low for them that they could afford a future of prosperity or middle class lifestyle in their country of origin. Force their governments to change economically to sustain themselves for their interests. Imposing themselves upon a nation no longer prospering as it did during and after the Industrial Revolution is senseless. There is hardly any upward mobility in blue collar jobs, ever more so in the labor market. If they are not making $40K/year (assuming the majority has not a college degree in something marketable, advanced skills, a tradesman or artisan) then they’re struggling like everyone else in the service industry. Jobs for teenagers, entry level workers, part time jobseekers like for students, people needing extra income cause it’s so expensive in CA, NY, Austin, TX, Chicago or SF living off work entry-level service jobs. Technology has created a shortage or labor gap between unskilled jobs. Jobs that Americans need while pursuing training or technical degrees for the new skilled jobs. \n\nImmigrants do not need to fit the stereotypes of working in the service industry or as farm workers. American citizens can fill these labor positions quite easily. No, immigrants, work visa or not, do not work any harder, smarter, slower or faster than anyone else wanting to work. If someone is motivated to work an unskilled labor job then they will be just as effective as the next person. The HR for these companies definitely virtue signal and satisfy diversity quotas every time they hire someone due to their work status or ethnicity. Everyone and anyone can be replaced and so the question is, who do you, as an employer, want to replace the job vacancy with? Gonna hire cause they are a good fit or because your helping some politicians cause? Gonna grant asylum cause their lives are in danger from a government firing squad or because Biden/Harris will pat you on the back? \n\nThere is reason to illegally enter this country and it is disrespectful, disgraceful, dishonorable, dishonest and disheartening to the ones who are here legally by going through the process like everyone else paying time and money. Even Christopher Columbus paid to be here, no one handed him a free ticket to ‘paradise.’ The Mayflower patrons weren’t met with resistance by the indigenous community, they were harmonious. If there was a border in Maryland at Plymouth Rock, I am sure the Puritans would stop there first to get their passports stamped. I mean hell, these ‘asylum seekers’ don’t have the courtesy to get passports, why not? Passports are not that expensive considering what they pay coyotes. It makes no sense and is suspect. They won’t get stopped at the border if they have a passport!!!

If you knew their true history you would be amazed at how strong many are and they continue to fight with not a lot of support from the rest of us.\n\nSo, tell me is this the help you want from our government?

There is no system in place or functional process. There used to be that you had an employer sponsor a foreign worker and he/ she would get a work permit and later apply for a legal residency status that would later qualify them for a 3 year residency green card that they would renew and after a time they can go for a US citizen status. That stoped when all the US factories left and tech came in. Now many, business, tech, or science and finance educated people get that option. ?

Where are these millions of new immigrants going to work? Since the election of Liberals, Canada has had the slowest growing economy in the industrialized world! The world expects Canada's lacklustre performance to continure for the next 20 years. So are these new immigrants coming with suitcases full of money to invest in new companies? Are the skilled tradesman coming from developed nations with similar building codes and material or from countries that build houses without any codes or inspection? Do the Medical Doctors receive the same education as 1st world doctors or are they like doctors in most developing and 3rd world countries where they enter medical school straight from Grade 11 and graduate 4-5 years later with a medical degree and their medical experience is all with 3rd world diseases? OR what is more likely is that these new immigrants will have to go back to school (paid for by Canadian taxpayers) to bring their education and skills to the minimum level of Canadians? It will take the average new immigrant 6-10 years before they are making a net positive contribution to the Canadian economy. This would be affordable if our economy was outpacing other industrialised nations OR if we had fewer immigrants but this is a strategy for bankruptcy. My prediction is that the Canadian dollar will be $0.60 USD within 5 years or less. My recommendation is start moving your savings and retirement funds to the USA.

My family and I came to the United States back in the 70’s because our country became a communist country . We were granted asylum and a long expensive journey began for my family to become US citizens and proud of it !! This report would have been so much more effective if they explained what these arrested people will go through once they are in Canada and what their prospects of staying there are. How pointless to make a report like this and not answer the questions most people are asking? Does the media simply not know? Are they not allowed to ask?

Not everyone can just be considered an asylum seeekr bec of too much crimes in their countries. Grow up! Crimes happen evrywhere ieven in the USa. So if our attitude is just to let everyone come in for free to our country because their own governments are unable to fix their law and order problems, we are fkd as a nation. My heart breaks when the social worker would pressure me to discharge frail, sickly aging pts within nte 48 hour time frame bec medicare wont cover them and they are not eligible forrehab facilities as their status are observationinstead if inpatients while the non-citizens can just drop their chronically ill family members bec they cant take care if them as they are all working. They wont even claim them bec they are “busy”.\nThey can just do whatever they want as they dont have to worry about paying for hospital bills or have credit companies go after them. We are also taking care of their US born children but they are not paying taxes. Our co’untry is in the brink if bankruptcy bec of misplaced sympathy. If we really want to help these people, give them work visa so they can be legal and taxable, or better help their countries to help with drug wars, etc. We cannot sustain these kind of unconditional financial bleed for so long. Before we know it, the whole population outside the Us, have transplanted themselves here for free and without fiscal responsibilities.

Let's build them here in the USA and we English speakers will have to manage them unfortunately since that’s the language of the Country. If you speak Spanish and English, you are going to have many jobs. \nEverything important should be made in America with all these workers. We can all have our own factories and business and exploit cheap labor flocking to our Great Country. We must use this to our advantage while it lasts. \nCheap labor we can Build houses that are affordable. Fix all the infrastructure we have been crying about. \n \n5. If War we're ready! \nIf we ever have another World War first one to go are minorities and poor people so, not only does it provide us with a bigger army, but you might not be first to get drafted. I was a backpacker in Australia and I have family that migrated 25 years ago. I think you should have spent more time up north. Loads of lovely photos to take in Broome. Go deep in the outback and meet the indigenious communities. I was invited to closed land and got to experience and see the indigenious holy land. I know ''PERTH'' is regional but regional true regional is where the culture is. I was obviously there for a different experience but from a photography point of view there is a lot to be seen. Cape Tribulation Groote Eylandt. Housing wise it is mega expensive and flights would make my eyes water flying back to the UK. I totally get what you are saying regarding immigration. It seems to be all about what visa you are on which becomes grating. I was in oz from 2013-16 then moved on to Canada. Fresh produce is not that great in Canada and it was cold. Those are my only complaints.

It's like the police think that telling them that they're going to get arrested is going to stop them. Some of these people are coming from war-torn countries and have absolutely nothing left. Some of them came from countries where there's lots of death and destruction. So I would imagine being arrested and being put into a warm cozy cell until stuff gets figured out is a sacrifice they are willing to deal with.

I wanna give my two cents as a Jamaican who lived in Canada,Germany and the us for me i wanna see the us is better interms of making money. It's better to get around , open business, hustle it's have that go-getter capitalistic mentality, Canada and Germany are similar. In Germany its haaaard to get anything done and bureaucracy will end you. Canada is a bit better and less bureaucratic. The us is a play ground filled with variety of everything and did I mention how easy it is to make money. Canada and Germany habe similar health system but in Germany things get done quickly, the us system is good if you have money. Racism is in all three but Germany and Canada are kinda not in your face, Americans will be in your face though, to me i prefer the america racism at least i know who to be aware of but in CA and ger you don't know who your enemies are because they will smile with you while not liking you. For kids it's like this , i would raise my kid in Germany because they have the kids are so well mannered and well behaved but i will let them experience american high school . Canada is waaay more peaceful , Germany cleaner. The bottom line is if you are a young ambitious Person the us is for you, but to retire I'll choose Canada but let my kids grow in Germany.

You may want to research firearms before posting such stupidity. Forgot to mention in Canada under the liberal government crimes and murders using firearms have gone up each year.
