As an Indian (not living in Canada), I want to beg Canadians to stop calling them Indians. Most of them are from just 1 region of India. Don't know why you are interested in people from this 1 region only instead of providing visas to diverse group of Indians. Secondly, as you have seen recently, most of these people are anti-India and hate India and want their home region to get separated from India even if they are not living in India, they want to comment on India's sovereignty. it's not just Brampton on. it's the same here in Alberta, there is whole communities where everything is for them , you can't even look at some neighbour hoods for housing because all the realtors are Indian and the sales are only advertised on their sites in their language and not for sale to Canadians. its a big community where we live and were being pushed out.. I lived in Canada and didn't find Canada all that great. I'd say America is a far better country than Canada.
