Dislike of racism or racial discrimination, especially during COVID 19 Asians are totally be get racism. Why doesn't everyone solve problems instead of blaming each other? It is better to help solve than to divide each other. Because human beings are not born the same And human beings cannot choose to be born There are good people, and there are bad people. But we can choose to do it, right? Stop racism We should help, should not be divided because of matters that we can fix.

While others including Blacks do face lots of racism in Canada it is First Nations that face the most by Inuits, Europeans, Metis, Far Easterners, and other Non First Nations

Canada is the USA.'s younger sibling who got coddle by their overbearing parent England. The USA is the eldest sibling who rebelled against the overbearing parent England, and left home a long ago time ago, swearing that it would be nothing like England was. Because Canada recently had a chance to leave and had a better relationship with parent England, it picked up some good qualities, while being influenced by its older sibling the USA who was also like a parent and definitely a cultural role model given its proximity and age. Nonetheless, no matter how hard the USA tries to deny it, it kept some features from England as well. After all three countries have a history of racism that England passed down. They were all abusive and racist.

I think people needed to be educate that asians are not all Chinese ignorant people spreading hate to the world what would happened if those people who experienced These racism would do same thing to them in their own country, because this kinds of experiences would never be forgotten in all eternity as the saying what comes around goes around.

this is rich. i'm a british guy living in manila with my wife and 5 kids. as a foreigner i don'tcall the police as they always side with the filipino. plus everytime i complain about something i get told to go back to my own country. you want to racism? come to the philippines, they have no laws against racism here.

Racism in Canada is alive and well

It is f**king racism. It is offending. The landlords need to have a change of heart for equality and get fired at the same time.

Racism is a global issue

You will find racism in every country, every group, every person. The only difference is the level of racism there and what happens as a result of it. I don't think you'll ever be able to rid the world of it, like with many things, but you can lower the levels. At the end of the day, we're all members of the /human/ race and that should come first above anything else.

A landlord wouldn't rent to my brother solely because he was not of a specific south asian race. When told he can't do that, the landlord said it's his house and he can do whatever he wants. Yup. Racism happens.

Did they all get sent into the same shoppers one after the other? And did the previous people buy anything? Also did the other men go down the baby isle? What if they have a problem with people stealing baby formula. I mean... I'm not saying covert or systemic racism doesn't exist in Canada, but there are so many holes in this video. Want to see discrimination and racism come to Brampton ,where the same people who complains about racism are the same ones posting racist ad. Such as you have to East Indian, you can’t be a smoker, no pets, No blacks, a matter of fact if you’re not Indian I will not rent my property to you... Explain that to me huh ? Sure there is racism. As a Chinese born in Canada, this does exists. It is just a polite type of racism. I saw that in school and in the university and at the graduate level in research.

Structural racism in Canada continues because of loopholes in the system that allow discrimination against minorities to continue. I will tell you why. Most decisions are made by the individuals workers who are not going by the laws of the Companies and Government Institutions and they use their power to discrimate against you based on their own biases . That is what I have experienced. I hurt my back picking up five residents in a day at work and let me tell you the process has not been easy. Everthing I say to them or paper that I gave to them from my Doctor is not good. Even if they have facts before them you are not to beleive. More strong laws need to be put in place to protect minorities.

Racism is worldwide not just USA

I heard that it's easier to settle in Canada than in the USA. And the Canadian government is much nicer to foreigners compared the US government which means very less racism etc.

Just because you prefer to hang out with or be around a certain people doesnt mean racism is there. Racism is in how you treat other races. Unconscious bias is like chasing a ghost of a ghost. I wish we had this show in Australia, I'm disabled and have Tasmanian Aboriginal heritage, I must admit I never realised Canadian 1st nations people were referred to as Aboriginal as well, but I found the subtle racism issues are same here with Australian Aboriginals. I did one meet some 1st nation Canadians at an indigenous conference but got so caught up with learning throat singing never really got into the serious issues

Canadians have a lot of prejudice that isn't limited to racism. Productions like CBC are disingenuous with their reporting to push a narrative. The 'test' alone (link above) uses semantics to manipulate responses, thusly results. Also, you can't peg a corporation for the perceived behaviour when following around white minimum wage workers. Attack corporations for the slave labour used to produce the goods you take for granted every day, how about that? Nope, you work for the government who is in bed with corporations. Dishonest journalism at it's finest. EDIT: You just held an experiment submitting double resumes with the same creds for min/wage positions then moved on to professional music auditions with a screen after resumes have been vetted /eyeroll

I tell you one thing they both have in common and that they are both similar of is that they are both racist towards black people and they both have racism Canada and the United States are the exact same

Systemic Racism at its core

This is the best journalistic approach I've seen on this matter so far. Yet it still lacks a deepening on the fact that racism and other kinds of discrimination are not exclusively practiced by white people. Had the same experiments been performed in places where other ethnic or cultural groups are the majority, the results most probably would evidence their biases in favor of their own pairs. This evidences that there is an inherent component in discriminatory behavior that goes well beyond of an evil mindset. It’s clear that in general people tend to better identify with those that look like themselves and fear those who don’t. This has been imprinted in our minds all along our species evolution. Could we change that? Yes. Should we change it? Definitely. But it’ll not work if these subtleties are not accounted for and we oversimplify the matter by just pointing fingers to a specific group as the villain.

It depends what You mean by racism. Off course there are different races. And statistics proove that or that. But we have to come to each person indyvidually and have respect and credit off trust.I am white living in Europe. I have the same experience in markets. Sometimes they observe me when I walk too long. Sometimes the reason is simply: Ican not find what I am looking for! Especially in drugstore. And it has nothing to do with a skin colour. Another thing is that bored staff have a kind of fun with clients searching for thief. In some markets even they hire special guard. I heard their slang: There is a falcon, there is a falcon! Which means: If somebody is circling too long is suspect and can be a thief.

Come to winnipeg.. racism is real here
