Funny thing when Quebecois tell you they want to keep their language, culture and identity, they're being told they are racist of wanting to slow down or put a hold on mass immigration. I gather you guys are starting to have a change of heart about the situation. Hope you will also change your views about French Canadians and Quebec in general. \n\nAnyway, I bid you all godspeed: you deserve better and also deserve to protect your identity and distinctiveness from that dreaded national political doctrine that is multiculturalism. We are seeing this with many cultures supposedly ‘contributing’ to our civilization but instead aiming to destroy it. Canada is/was a Christian nation. Our laws are Christian. But we are to accept and bent backwards to accommodate any other non-Christian culture in the world. That is not and never will be freedom of religion but imposition, suppressing our Judeo-Christian values. \nIf someone want to practise his/her own religion costumes in Canada, they should do it on their own and without government assistance, of any level of government. \nThe problem is not the amount of India influence in Brampton, but the influence of every other culture everywhere.

This is the price to be paid. Canada needs desperately imigration, otherwise it will disappear as a nation in 2 or 3 generations.\nBirth rates is too low. Nobody wants kids because life in freezing countries is too expensive due winter gears, hitting, cars, insulation in every building, store or house, gas, salt on streets,  shovelling, mandatory insurance for everything, health care is a joke, and so on. It is endeless. \nCanada is definitely an uninhabitable place. 92% of canadians live very close the US border due the miserable freezing endeless drepressing 9 months cold weather. It's the same thing in Ottawa. I moved here in 2019 from Montreal and the culture shock was immediate. I've already made up my mind to leave the country because it's absolutely finished. If all goes to plan, I'll be out of here by 2026. Canada will become an Indian majority country in less than 20 years and Canadians are asleep at the switch. They don't seem to understand or care what happens when you dump a million or more immigrants per year into a country of just 40M and while Indians aren't bad people per se, even they will tell you that the new stock of Indians coming into the country isn't the same as the old. They're far more tribal than they ever used to be. Trudeau opened the floodgates, but I don't think Poilievre will be able to close them. I live in his riding and there are a loooot of indians here. There's no way he'll want to risk stirring up the hornet's nest. The Canada we knew is on death's doorstep.

I have found over the years you can separate many Indians into two camps. Those who want to be Canadian and those who want free shit or the opportunity to defraud or steal from us and make the place their own. My black friends can attest to just how racist the latter are.

People want to blame Trudeau, and he is at fault but overall Canadians are also to blame. They have no backbone are allowing this to happen. Prime targets to be invaded. I'm all for immigration to help a country grow however, what Canada has done is first, bring in too many at once and not INTEGRATED the new comers. \n\nFact is, if you want to go to a country because of their freedom and job opportunity then don't come and try to change the country into what you just fled from!!\n\nAnd this is what has happened. Our own country, a country that designates french or English has signs and communities designated in foreign languages. This is not acceptable and is a cause creating divide. You come, you learn the language and INTEGRATE! We loved our country, you wanted to come for what our country has so don't try to turn it into the country you fled! And stop alienating the people who were here before you. \n\nSo, these are the two BIG ISSUES Canadians complain about. Rightfully so. \n\nI myself don't live in Ontario but find Alberta has become a foreign country and I feel like I am in danger now in my own lands. Integration is so important, and Trudeau bringing in millions in a short time line did not integrate but now caused a great deal of violence and many new comers confused and hateful to Canadians when they simply don't understand that what they have done is not integrate but are overtaking and we feel at war with them.

We have the same problem. I actually like the people, but….somehow, immigrants have managed to have been able to acquire the vast majority of retail jobs in our area. How is that possible? There are businesses and fast food chains with not one white person working as an employee. I spoke to a former worker that was at one of these businesses for years and asker her WTF happened? She told me that the company hired a new manager from India, within 6 months, half the staff were Indian, local students were not being hired for part time jobs, only Indians, by the end of the year, every single employee was Indian. \nShe along with other quit their jobs because….not because they’re racist, but because not only were they being treated differently than the now majority brown workers, but they were being made to feel excluded because…the manager and the new staff all spoke a different language, they would all work together in a group not speaking English at all, saying things and laughing making it pretty obvious that they were making fun of the white employees. The “manager” would ignore the white staff’s complaints and he would then seemingly punish them by giving them less hours, change their duties and give “the good shifts” to the new brown people to the point where the white people were made to feel alienated as well as cutting back their hours leaving them with not enough hours to make a living. “This is Canada Mother Fecker” these people need to speak our language when they’re in public or at the workplace with “Canadians” or…employers should fire them. I will note, that the A&W that this happened at, has changed not only by every single employee being brown, but the service is not near as friendly, they all speak to each other in a different language behind the counter.. the seating area is not even close to being clean, the tables usually are left with trays and garbage that aren’t being cleaned as customer leave. It so bad sometimes that I literally have to pick a dirty table and remove the garbage myself because every available table has not been cleaned….and the bathrooms …. I don’t even want to talk about it they’re so disgusting. And when you complain….they turn to other employees and speak a different language… so we have no idea about WTF they are actually doing or saying about the issue. “ Thank you Sir, we will take care of that.” And the next day…it was the same. I’ve stopped going there along with everyone that I know…our work crew along with our families can no longer support such a dirty, rude and disrespectful business.

There are foreigners in india that live there (thats okay) - Theres 550 “Canadian” companies operating in India ?? (thats okay), many many Canadians amongst other foreigners go to India to seek medical therapiea for 1/10th of the cost (thats okay), the British invaded india, looted her for 300+ years, killed their men, raped their women, sold them as slaves (thats okay), your channel is spreading hatred and giving rise to bigotry and hatred mister. They bleed our social services while dodging taxes. Canadian cars were lined up at every gas station in the city on payday to but cheap American gas. And that's with Americans complaining about how high gas was. Premium Gasoline is $6.19/gallon for regular and $7.27/gallon in Ontario, and $3.62/gallon average in Michigan, 8 cents less than the national average. That's $7.24 for 2 gallons of gas. No wonder so many Canadians were crossing the border to fill their tanks. If you're buying 20 gallons at a time, that's $123.80 - $145.40 in Canada vs. $72.40 here. And a lot of them were buying 25 gallons of gas, sometimes more when they filled up their gas cans.

This is pretty hard to describe as multiculturalism. I have no issue with Indian Canadians whatsoever. A lot of really good hard working poeple come here from there, and I respect their culture. My concern is how we maintain Canadian amid this type of immigration 15:21 seems like there is no real attempt to integrate new Canadians to our system and beliefs. We don't want to end up like Europe where foreign cultures have imposed themselves on the population. We shouldn't have to adapt or adjust to other cultures they came here to share and improve our way of life. Canada has a dignified history worthy of preservation despite our mistakes in the past. Got the same going on further north of GTA east Indians starting spread up hear barrie and further. They have the same attitude ? its frustrating they can barely speak English and they have an attitude if we can't understand what there saying..they don't seem to have any interest in fitting into Canadian culture. Immigration is good when done correctly but with the majority of people who come here they do not want to be Canadian. They don't want to live with us. So many never talk English and they want to live with their people, they own way and pretend we don't exist and are living in their country in ours. It sucks working with people who can speak english but 95% of the time they only talk in their language. Then they mention your name as they arent speaking english. Harrison, you should have driven around some of the neighbourhoods. Since Trudope opened the gates - all the beautiful middle-class neighbourhoods have filled in with international students. Indians have bought up all the houses across the country and then rent them out to students. Rentals with 5-8 cars and garbage overflowing. Of course, a lot of students are nice people but the big problem is young guys who are just trying to get a PR card - they drop out of school or get jobs trucking etc - they have 10 of their friends in one rental and they all drive jeeps, jettas and chargers. The amount of racing around and noises mufflers can drive you crazy. And I’m indian - but because I’m female and not Punjabi - they don’t even want to look at my face when I talk to some of them. There isn't anything wrong with those who immigrate to Canada and adapt to Canadian Customs and Traditions, But when they start complaining about our Customs and Traditions, and want us to change them, then I have a BIG problem with it !!!! Dual Citizenship needs to be outlawed !! You want to be a Canadian, then be 100% Canadian !! If that is too much to ask of someone, then Don't come here, stay home !! Why the assumption that most Canadians want more immigrants?

I am an American citizen of Indian descent. But I always loved and appreciated Canada. I love hockey since I was 7, huge NHL fan, lover of Tim Hortons and Canadian poutine. But I don't want anything non-Canadian to replace Canada! The Canadians need more aggression when it comes to defending the red-white bars and maple leaf!

I want my country back. I want the surrounding areas in Vancouver, BC to be Canadian again. I'm sick of feeling like I am living in someone else's country whenever I walk around my neighbourhood or take public transit to see the majority of bus/skytrain passengers are from South Asian countries. If that isn't bad enough, seeing them use our country as a platform for their religion/politics that belong on the other side of the world and not on Canadian soil.

Justin Trudeau knew that unrestrained immigration would destabilize our economy but that is exactly what he wanted. His intention since he was elected in 2015 was to make Canada a dictatorship with him as the dictator. You don't have to become a Canadian migrant to work there for years. I don't know where that idea comes from.\nMillions of people worldwide work in foreign countries and then return home. A job requires a different motivation than a person who wants to migrate to a country.The latter is more sensitive and requires more.

I'm a 28 year old Canadian, I don't want this to come off sounding like a pity party, so I'll keep it brief for all and any of those thinking of moving here. I live with my parents because I could never afford the rent (and I don't even live in a major city like Toronto); my buddies moved in together and paid 1600 a month for a SMALL 2-bedroom apartment and they STRUGGLED to find an apartment. everyone I talk to is struggling and scared about their mortgage payments. My parents built a new home just a few years ago and got screwed over at every turn and on every level, their only saving grace was that their lumber package was locked in so they didn't have to worry about the lumber inflation. the job market is straight up trash and we're taxed through the teeth for every little thing. On the news we see stories about immigrants having to go back to their country because they can't afford to live here or find affordable housing. don't move here, it's shit.

I love Canada and the Canadian my parents and grandparents lived and worked in. So if Trudeau wants million people a year in all categories of immigrants it must be economics 101 for him and his Ministers to consult Provinces in their areas of services what are the impacts and what do they need /when/$'s funding to welcome new people to Canada in a proper manner ( not make victims of them) and not make victims of current Canadians either. OOPS I forgot he works in a silo/alone. So all the billions of $'s announced last couple weeks are a demonstration of his failure.

French Canadian here, living in Austin, TX. Lived in Jacksonville, FL before, as well as Charlotte, NC and Cleveland, OH. I've known from a very yougn age that I wanted to live in the US. I like life in the US better. Canada is a great place to sleep if you'll pardon the expression. The only thing I miss from Canada is the simplicity of the healthcare compared to the US. Everything else is better in the US (the places where I've lived at least). Healthcare is excellent in the US but the billing of the healthcare is a nightmare compared to the simplicity of it in Canada.\n\nCanadians' opinions about the US are VERY OFTEN exagerated, it's a fact.

We must have immigration. We Canadians are too highly educated to want to do manual labour. We also do need immigration to prop up our pension plans, which will run out of funds in a few years. We are discriminatory with respect to professional immigrants. Shame.\n\nCovid caused a 2-year slowdown in construction, and in strong inflation. Trudeau is the mouthpiece for the technocrats who advise him on immigration, and the ability to match demand with supply. Immigration, healthcare, whatever-policy is not a one-man (king) decision. The liberals set the policy, not the quotas. As for housing, quotas were set and the liberals advised and provided confirmation.\n\nWith respect to housing, many contractors could not afford to build, given the almost doubling in the cost of raw materials. As well, infrastructure provided by cities, in some occasions, could not match the installation of sewers, water supplies, garbage disposal, etc.\n\nTrudeau is a convenient victim. And if you mean by Trudeau, that it is the Liberals in power, you must also include the NDP, who provided the support to keep the Liberals in power. The NDP have a large impact on the immigration decisions. Blame them as well.\n\nAnd if you think that Pierre P with the Conservative party can do better. Lets see how he does in his second term, if there is a second term.
