Brampton was nice place to live back in the day. Now it is a shithole, infested with crime, violence and everything else. Toronto has been well upon its way there for more than a decade . I guess cultural enrichment and diversity struck again. \n\nThis what happens when a country no longer controls its borders and has no say as to who comes in and how many. Canadians are living those end results and consequences in real time. The thing is that too many of them voted for this and are too passive, apathetic or spineless to say or do anything. Which isn’t necessarily all that different from the rest of Western countries.\n\nPeople who don’t care about Canada, Canadian culture, values etc. Canada has just become a port of convenience, where people, like in this case from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc., land, and are more interested in “what can you give me”, “ what can you do for me”, no forethought of hey, maybe this is a two-way street where something is also expected from me to give back to the country and society that gave me an opportunity. If this is allowed to continue it will only get worse.

That is exactly what Trudeau wants, replace Canadians with those that feel beholden to Trudeau and will vote for him. So sad that city is in that state. Anyone who comes to Canada to live here needs to adapt to Canadian values, morals and way of life. If they do not want to they can go back to the country they came from. Iam looking to coming to Canada, i am more of an introvert and i can survive, for healthcare am from Uganda and iam used to bad service and as a gay person Canada looks to be the safest for me. As I said in earlier post, Canada is a cautionary tale of what happens when you go tooooo far left ie a disaster. Importing an enormous amount of military age men from India almost all Panjabi is incredibly dangerous, because when that happens , they have 0 interest in adapting and essentially set up ethnic ghettoes and you have parallel societies. I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. Show them that they’re being used by the liberals and that’ll get them going, cause no one wants to be used. \n\nAs always, TNC reports it as it is and that’s what I’m here for. Thank you!

I’m from Surrey BC and as a woman the interactions I’ve had with the Indian people that come in here has been very negative and threatening to my safety. It’s lead me to have anxiety when I am around male Indians and I am always on guard ready to defend myself if I need to. It makes me so nervous because of the high ego of this culture and that the males exude and that being a show off is having status but really it makes people, especially women feel unsafe in their own country

I would like to provide a background to all the native Canadians who are wondering why the East Indian population is growing in Canada they are lot of education consultants back in India who market Canada as a lucrative country to immigrate brownie points for studying to get PR free healthcare free education till grade 12 so everyone is trying their best to come to Canada on a student visa.Once students come on a student visa they need to work 20 hours a week which they are legally allowed to work on international student visa so locals feel they are taking their jobs In US international students are only allowed to work on campus despite so many job opportunities.Colleges in Canada charge 4-5 times tuition which is profitable to the education industry and provincial government.Once these students Graduate they get open work permit where they can gain Canadian work experience and apply for PR and citizenship eventually.All this benefits the government and the educational institutions overall in terms of taxes and revenue..

The problem in one word is multiculturalism.\nThe fallacy that Canada has since the beginning, it imposed it with the now called First Nations and it has it now with the so many origines we are literally invaded now. Canada looks big on the map, but it's really a small country with just a handful of 'big' cities. Immigration is important and has been good for Canada, but we can easily be swamped by enormous countries like India, China, the Philippines when only a tiny percentage of people from those countries want to come here. The Christian, Britsh/European character is what built this country and it will be diluted and lost.

No worries Canadians, they are fleeing Canada with Canadian money and, have their own businesses or landowners in INDIA. A cab driver informed me they will be leaving and he owns land and businesses in India off of CANADIAN MONEY while driving a CAB in Canada. He said he and others are leaving because Canada is too expensive to live and because of the high cost they are unable to send money to INDIA, so they are leaving us. They used us, took our Cab driver jobs, etc, and now are fleeing, really nice people...NOT!. FYI they are not the only country who stole Canadian jobs and sent money to their 3rd world countries and will return back home to live in MANSIONS. I worked with a Philippine and he sent money home every paycheck and was looking forward to leaving Canada in 10 years with Canadian money and he will enjoy the rest of their life in a huge mansion.\nIt must be nice to come here, work, and then flee. Not just Brampton, but Scarborough, On as well. Grew up in North East Scarborough, I've watched it fall into descent. I feel like a foreigner as an Indian Canadian, imagine the irony of that statement. Most of these south asians that come here are pompous, cocky and act like they own the place. They look down on the locals and treat this country like their personal clubhouse.

I'm all for immigration to help a country grow however, what Canada has done is first, bring in too many at once and not INTEGRATED the new comers. \n\nFact is, if you want to go to a country because of their freedom and job opportunity then don't come and try to change the country into what you just fled from!!\n\nAnd this is what has happened. Canada has allowed our laws and even speech change to cater to a foreign culture and political idea. Canada became great for what it was and ways it was not for socialism and other country politics. We've got road sign in Pakistan and some in Mandarin and some in blah blah blah. Too many languages creates divide and this is the other issue. Our own country, a country that designates french or English has signs and communities designated in foreign languages. This is not acceptable and is a cause creating divide. You come, you learn the language and INTEGRATE! We loved our country, you wanted to come for what our country has so don't try to turn it into the country you fled! And stop alienating the people who were here before you. \n\nSo, these are the two BIG ISSUES Canadians complain about. Rightfully so. \n\nI myself don't live in Ontario but find Alberta has become a foreign country and I feel like I am in danger now in my own lands. Yet we are the racist ones! They come to Canada but only want to live within their own communities. They complain about Canada's traditions yet put up 50' statues of their gods. They bleed our social services while dodging taxes. Flood our schools with non english speaking kids, flood our country with endless children while bleeding our social services and Canadians can't afford their own children.

I agree about integration. And it’s not just about Indians. For example, here in Calgary almost all barbershops are run by East Africans. Whenever I try to explain something in plain English, they have a hard time understanding me. Or when they try to start a small talk but when I answer their question, they have no idea what I said. It gets super frustrating when people just can’t understand you due to their poor language skills. Am I the only immigrant who learned the language at a high enough level to function in the society BEFORE I came to the country? It’s not like there’s a war in India so they have no time to learn English before coming here.

If you go to another country, you need to dress like them, talk and act like them. If those outsiders come to Canada, they are allowed to do whatever they want including implementing their culture and not embracing the Canadian way. Globalism and socialism don't belong in Canada.

Canada doesn't need any larger population, contrary to Trudeau's/WEF plan to destroy the country by importing too many immigrants. \nOnce it's meaningless to be a Canadian because everyone is different from everyone else and they don't have shared values, then anyone can come in from anywhere and there will be no customs to check them. Canadian citizenship will be discontinued, and if we are still voting then, anyone in the world will be able to vote as a citizen of the world. They come in bus loads to our town in the summer to use our beach, which is no problem except they pollute they beaches, when and I say when they use the washrooms it's left a complete disgusting mess. That one lady said it best if we immigrate to a foreign country we would have to adapt to their culture. People should do it here. I have no issues with immigration or immigrants. Have your church’s or mosques and practice your beliefs but don’t expect your new host country to bend to your wishes or beliefs, the former Australian Prime Minister said it best “you chose to come here we didn’t ask you come. the country is predominantly Christian if you don’t like it, go back to where you came from or find somewhere else to to live.”

And what the most I hate when Punjabis truck drivers don't obey the laws of traffic. They have this nature of not respecting the laws back their home country and when they come here they do the same here. Cultures congregate when coming to a new country. Re Brampton the affluent from India send their kids with much money backing them. Sadly, this offshore income is due to little or no taxation. So the new arrivals easily outcompete tax paying residents who Pais for the infrastructure only to be outcompeted by new arrivals who haven't.
