If there's really so many people (from Venezuela) that want to come to the states, can't we just put up a vote to make Venezuela a US state?

All of these points are subjective. I think the point system you used and the subjects you talked about are biased. I would have given the USA a point for innovation and job opportunity. There is more opportunities, because more companies choose the USA. We have a higher population so even thought there is more job opportunities in the USA, it is also very competitive. Your video gave a point to Canada for vacation and maternity leave rather than innovation and job opportunities. A lawyer in the USA has a better chance of practicing law than a Canadian lawyer. You gave a point to Canada for healthcare because of life expectancy. However I’d still give a point to the USA for healthcare. The life expectancy is a separate subject. The life expectancy is lower in the USA because of what we eat here. I would give a point to Canada for healthier food. In the USA fatty diet with sugary sweets is common here.\n\nThe video was really pros and cons for liberals. As an American, I could make a list that is biased towards the USA. Why are they not opening fire? I'm not sorry for your situation as we have problems here too. If you want to act like fools charging the gates to our border, that is an act of war and should be treated as such. One warning shot would have made them stop. If they didn't stop you shoot one person. If that doesn't make them stop, you start taking ppl out. We need to protect our borders, protect them from criminals, drug mules, and the like. That means we need to do a background check before anyone can cross that border. We need more leaders like President Bukele of El Salvador and AMLO of Mexico. President Bukele incarcerated thousands of MS-13 gang members without trial. They are all in jail for life. If you have gang affiliated tattoos they come ant take you to jail for life. El Salvador is gang free and all citizens are happy. Ironically, the USA politicians are screaming human rights abuses. President AMLO stopped all catering to the high classes and wants to be more independent of the USA. This of course was met with USA indignation by politicians of the USA. We are not a very introspective country. Not that it ever makes the news but Mexico is home to 1.6 million Americans that are legally there and anther .5 to 1 million living in Mexico illegally. Remember that Banana Republics were forcefully ( With military action.) made to trade with the USA. Dole fruit being one of the main driving forces of USA interventionism. This act kept most of Central America’s governments weak and destabilized. We destabilized El Salvador all through the 70s and 80s. We destabilized Venezuela when our politics ran counter to theirs. We toppled and incarcerated President Manuel Noriega of Panama and went to war with Panama. Pablo Escobar of Panamawas killed with CIA operatives. Right or wrong our footprint is part of Latin America and the consequences of this still reverberate in todays’ immigration problems.

It’s heart breaking that these individuals are this desperate to leave their own country! Our country is going downhill faster than ever. But they still want to come here. Remember when we used to have leverage, and we could do things to get other countries to become better for their own people? I do. Why isn’t our government working on trying to keep Mexicans in their own country by negotiating trade deals, and making sure Mexico is being responsible of a leader of their own country as we are of ours? Oh that’s right because we haven’t been responsible. It’s all going pear-shaped and everybody’s at risk.

And here i am, in the middle of eastern europe, studied hard, saved up every penny i could, even learned to code , found a good coding job, full remote these days, im in spain now, the beach is in my view.. i managed to do all of those things in the past decade, and still i was rejected by the us embrassy every single year, that makes a total of 11 times so far, not a word as to why, just rejected.. tbh i no longer want to move to the states.. i started begging you guys at 18, im 29 now.. i could’ve invested my talents and work in the us, while paying taxes there, instead i work for a us company in a very cheap part of the world while paying a small fraction of taxes to my home country.. keep letting those guys in and avoid us.. soon enough you wont have anyone defending you from the issue’s because the people that make good money and pay high taxes are leaving to make space for the homeless shelters and to avoid being stolen from by the mob

Stay a distance from what America wants. Losing character of its own country will lose the benefit of its foreign relationship with others. Make good decision for business, import and export with others. We have no additional saving to play world politics game. Make your own ways to exchange business developments and ideas. Latin here, I came here legally but I can tell you that it was difficult as hell for my mom to bring me here, it took money and years for that, but I want you as a fellow citizen to understand their situation first, in Latin America you could be graduation from college and even with that having a good job it’s difficult sometimes, unlike here education in Latin America is not always something that all people can get and every time they vote for someone it becomes more trashier, housing for the poor doesn’t even exist, half of the country is corrupt and going outside you don’t who you may find, my brother needs to wait 7 years to become a resident (not citizen) he will be 30 something at that point, what the government should do is make the residency easier and I can tell you something like this wouldn’t occur that easily, my mom is a lawyer in my country and I can tell you the situation wasn’t easy, every three times a week there would be shooting outside my house, drug dealer was my neighbor, and at the age of 15 there would parents of two kids the sad part all this is normal, stopping it is imposible because it gets you kill, the police will kill you for doing a peaceful protest just to stop feminicide, wanting your kid to go outside without being scare something would happen to them, this people want peace and a job that is it and when your own country doesn’t even give you the right for that how could you live? Latin America is like living in the worst state in U.S multiply by 1000 and happening the same thing every day, riots or protest are imposible there because you know the police will never go the peaceful way, what this people are doing is wrong but they just want to live, it even surprise how much people hate their president here when in Latin America there hasn’t been any good president in decades. Before someone tells me something, like I say what they are doing is wrong and it’s painful to watch, something should not be happening in the first place but it is happening and I hope the situation gets better but like I say before saying something disrespectful or out of place to these people, understand their situation first

Every single person who tried to shove their way into our country should be PERMANENTLY BANNED from ever being allowed to enter our country. No other country on Earth would tolerate such poor behavior. They just proved that they’re NOT worthy enough to be here as well. I expect the people who desire to become part of the American dream to behave in such a manner. If they want to act like wild animals and thugs, they need to end this garbage and go right back from where they came. They’re NOT our problem. And the conditions they left behind weren’t of our making. They created that mess, so they can go back and live in it. But don’t go bringing that crap here into our country. If you want to live here in the United States, then you need to respect our ways while leaving yours behind, just like every other country on Earth expects of the people that immigrate into their countries. I’m very liberal on immigration policies. But not on this mess. That’s when I put my Conservative hat on and send the animals and thugs back from whist they came…PERMANENTLY. \n\nREMEMBER…When you go and enter another country, you’re entering as a Guest to that country. You need to act civilized. If you can’t, they’re well within their rights to throw your ass back out…by any means that they desire to employ. Because when you enter another’s country, YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS OTHER THAN THOSE THAT THAT COUNTRY WISHES TO EXTEND TO YOU.

People think it sucks to have to spend ten years becoming a legal citizen here, well count yourself lucky that you didn’t have to shed any blood, lose any family members, fight against an oppressive enemy for your rights, or lose your house in a battle for a free country. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look up American history. Count how many battles were fought; how many wars; how many people died; how many Americans became POW’s on our own land during the Civil War. Look how hard it’s been. Look how hard it is now. We never stop fighting for what we want. Freedom takes work. America isn’t some island paradise. It never has been. We all live on the same earth. We all experience hardship. And there’s no amount of money, illegal border crossing, or anything else that can keep us from that harsh reality. In life we’re going to suffer. That’s just how it is. Stop thinking that illegally crossing a border is somehow going to solve all problems. It won’t. The grass isn’t greener on the other side just because. Bloodshed makes that grass green: Sacrifice. Hard, laborious work; and centuries of time.

Our current administration wants them to come in droves from these third world socialist countries where they blindly re-elect tyrannical leaders. They protest against their policies and then re-elect them again. ?‍♀️ Our current administration and some state leaders have already stated they would move to allow illegal immigrants the right to vote. It’s a power grab to ensure they will maintain control. And seems they want to break down and overload our infrastructure where we will be dependent on government aid and then they can implement socialist policies to control the people. Nothing else makes sense for why they would be doing this. It’s not humanitarian, it’s causing chaos and allowing for criminals to flourish.

Why can’t the United Nations come together and come up with a physical solution for this people in their countries it’s sad that they have to struggle and go hungry but if we keep getting millions upon millions of people coming in then the economy here will collapse it doesn’t make sense there’s enough resources for everyone but when greed kicks in this happens the gap between poor and rich in the countries down is beyond huge your either dirt poor or dirty rich why can’t people do something .Another thing that pisses me off is if you can’t take care of yourself much at all why have so many kids I understand wanting to have a big family but not if you can’t take care of them

If things are like that is because the government wants it that way, somebody is making lots of money with all the asylum applications, no wall no super pervert trump can fix this situation simple because that's how they want things to be.

Veterans are being kicked out of the shelters to make room for these people who refuse to come here the way everyone else does. If I went to another country broke and had no money or job waiting for me I wouldn’t have the carpet rolled out for me. As a Venezuelan who migrated and still travels in the proper ways I can surely say many there want true help. Venezuela is insane compared to what you people even live whit, best work you can get there will make you up to 90-120 bucks a month, no food in supermarkets, some insanely expensive which will make you choose between buy bread or tuna and rice for a whole month ( imagine not being able to eat your favorite meats or prefered food FOR MONTHS, EVEN SOME YEARS) , if you are a professional or educated of course the opportunity grows up but not in a socialist country. as we know you can be a socialist in a capitalist system but not the opposite and this is a fact. Those people are genuinely scared with no home back in their country as for many houses and private properties have been removed with force, some of you sure will be wondering how or why not to follow the main curse to migrate? I had to spend 3 days sleeping on a huge queue with many other people also sleeping in the streets to get our passport(that's was the easy part, 4 years to get the date to finally get that fucker passport.), something so simply done in other countries which such ease, not to mention the whole cost for a passport (I knew people who paid aroundn 700usd to get it asap). \n\nPlease don't pitty these people nor hate on any inmigrants, some families there really wish for a future, and again as someone who had the opportunity to do my papers. We do not wish this upon no body. We had a President that was against this, that wanted a wall. Now, we’re giving free housing, food, phones, healthcare, paid job training and even higher education, and the list goes on!
