I don't agree that North American cities are all ugly just like not all European cities are all that beautiful. Go to Rome, Naples Athens and you will see how dirty and run down these cities are. In Europe it's much more vibrant. People want to go out and socialize a lot more. Here it's basically work and home. Buy some acres of land, dig up the ground, place a 1000 shipping container homeless shelters beneath the land. Build a village of transitional homes upstairs on the land. Build the homes with 3d printing construction technology. Charge below market fair rent so it can help the homeless transition to getting their life together. Land is expensive people naturally would like to profit off it. This way you can still profit off the land and have a real solution to solving homelessness. It will take a 1000 people off the street inside of shelters and clean up the street. Repeat and rinse until no more homeless. There should be underground shelters and transitional homes all over the city. The government has power and resources to do these things. Or the people need to get together start a non profit organization, pool money and do it themselves.

Nowdays all the cabin crews are very rude. Even I had a very bad experience with Air India at Guwahati . The air hostess was very rude. I was in the washroom she called me n bording time didn’t even started n she told me you will not go I am closing the gate. Most of the cabin crew in India are very very rude now. They don’t know basic etiquette. Instead of training them in makeup etiquette needs to be thought to them.

These modern feminist type women first starr a problem by being rude and then when the man responds, she starts recording trying to be very polite.

I came as an immigrant from India in 1968. I arrived in Canada on Thursday and started my full time as a nurse and I have been paying my taxes ever since . I can proudly say that I contribution to health care was greatly recognized. I must agree that when you live in Canada one must adopt to Canadian culture. My family is proud to be Canadians.

All the commenters should start the start and form a group. Get organized, start a petition and collect too many signatures that the government cannot deny. When I passed my Post Graduation in 70' s from London University ( in Engineering) Canadian Embassy gave me Visa and One way ticket for free. While I was in Embassy waiting .. I saw some colorful journals and green in summer mounds of snow in winter. I had grown up Central Indian Climate. 5 years in England still kept me alienated environ cold weather and Culture. Most disturbing was visible Brown skin foreigners for ever.....at 2nd tier of Society ,..... after getting 4 month Valid visa I started probing fron friends who had earlier migrated to Canada. Living, impediment of long very cold winter, 1970's Canada was still racist and Parliament had strong bill waiting to stop colored immigrants and keep country white...Then in 1975 the Bill was voted down. For the reason that old white generation was aging and demanding Pension and Health Care. Welfare Chest was showing bottom and had to be replenished by tax money. Young tax payers were needed. India, China and Black Carribian were overflowing with young workers...so they had swollow Colored immigrants. Country was the largest but most commercia cities are at border of America, because north is brutal cold. Canada could not build population. 30m (10% of USA.) And Economically behind CA$= 0.80USD. Let the Visa expire...and went back to my old country to Start my Consultancy office. Lived in upper middle class tier and retiring with comfortable cushion to survive . Saw the whole world during past decades of active life... Including Canada US China . Don't regret living among brown people where my roots are. No body looks at me as colored foreigner. This started well before 2016. I lived in Brampton 2013 to 2015 and there were so many job agencies and Immigration companies that catererd to only Indians and they will turn you away if you are not Indian. I was surprised that the law did not intervene. It was a shit show then with so many racist Indians and Pakistanis, crime-ridden and just horrible so I can't imagine what it's like now. SO many mosques and barely any churches. Let's not even get into the shitty drivers that live there....smh

I came in the 80s to canada as a landed immigrant which is equivalent to a PR now. Life was much easier for newcomers then to start. Jobs were readily available and with a good command of the English language and a broader mind to accept other cultures and people i felt the adaptation was good. As for the struggles i had lots of patience and didn't mind doing my own chores. Cook clean at home and work in a 9 to 5 office job. I even volunteered as a Sunday school teacher to young children. I also kept my hobby as an artist. It depends on ones courage and patience and ability to adapt in a foreign country. Canada was the best decision i took for me and my family especially my children who graduated here.yes now i am retired over 60 and yes i do spend time abroad including india while it snows here? after covid and the ongoing wars and the recession around the world life is not the same in any part of the world. You have to make the best decision for your particular situation you are in. I never regretted coming to Canada ??.

I see no foreign news channel covering this except Indian media platform. If anything similar happened to any foreigner in India, these same westerners go crazy & start generalising entire country. There are even more serious crime have been committed against indian people in western countries but they don't get enough media coverage.

Here i will share with you a real and most resent experience i have encountered two weeks ago.\nThere was a well advertised job fair held at the Vancouver downtown campus of the community college. The job fair was organized by work BC\n Out of curiosity i went there. There was a massive line of students and immigrants ranging from the age of 20 + to 40 +\n\n I would think that most people in line were at the very least grads of VCC ( Vancouver Community College) which offers now diploma programs training and even 4 years bachelor and professional degrees. I spoke to several people while in line they were immigrants with Canadian MBA , some had engineering digress and yet were jobless. BY the time we made it to the job fair room ( it took us nearly 2 hours of waiting) and that is where shock started. There were literally 6-7 shitty unknown employers from tiny small businesses that were offering nearly minimum wage jobs. \nThere were no banking recruiters, no business companies, no engineering or social services, nor tech companies or health care reps ! This is clearly an ample proof of the politically constructed myth about a supposedly shortage of labour and high hiring needs of the companies !

What patience the Pizza delivery guy has...and pity the customer, he needs help...the Canadian government should start sending welfare officers to help such people, before it is too late....

This started in 2021The government pays their wage here in bc. So businesses are only hiring immigrants. Every place here is flooded with them. At first it was all the minimum wage jobs but now theyre takjng over the good jobs. If you say anything people will call you racist.

Instead of giving Lots of opportunities for this foreigners give those opportunities to Canadiens!!.. but for dumb politicians is more easy to bring people than to make canadians create families.. grow kids.. educate them and then offer them jobs... Think on that... A foreigner.. just open the door of a plane and is ready to work.. Cero investment from the country.. in the other side.. a Canadian baby needs at least 18 years and money from the state to start producing to the country... And if you don't know...
