Alot of people talking about moving, I too would love to move as Canada is nothing like the Canada i grew up in during the 90’s-2000’s.. but where would you go? The majority of Europe and the US is no different, i feel like you would be leaving one bad place for another.

I would like to ask 1 question. When I see lots of videos about people leaving Canada and all. Why is that South Asians especially Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are so desperate to go Canada when majority of the people living in Canada are fed up of living there and want to move out.

Is the same applicable when it comes to Hindus of India ? Because , this land was divided based on religion and a separate nations ( right now 2 ) exist - with one - being an Islamic republic . \n\nIs it too much to ask for Hindus and other religions to tell Muslims of India who voted for a separate nation by whopping majority (96%) when a poll was conducted by the British but still chose to stay in India ??? \n\nWhy should Indian majority be any concerned about the so called minority with 20% of population who create more ruckus than the real minorities like Jains and Parsis ? \n\nBy the same logic - Muslims of India should just go and settle in Pakistan!!!

GTFOH. They must think they are in Muslim majority country. A country within a country ?. Hmm. Where have we seen that before ? Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, etc. Do you think they allow you to have Christian or Hindu laws in Muslim majority country ? ?

I respect your decision to leave Canada and I believe that you act according to your beliefs but as far as hate crimes against Muslims are concerned, they are committed the majority of the time by Muslims.

American here -- I feel powerless in moving the needle in regards to Palestine. Do you have any meaningful resources or suggestions on what someone like I could do to help? I am a Christian, and I have been married to an amazing North African (a practicing) Muslim woman for the past 17 years. By the way, we have lived in five different majority Muslim countries, but Malaysia is by far the best one of all. We have friends who moved to Europe from North Africa and the Middle East. However, Canada is definitely better than Europe, the Middle East, or Pakistan or any other Muslim country for any Muslim man or woman. We have very close Pakistani friends who moved to Canada from Dubai, and they will never consider moving back to either the Middle East or Pakistan. I don't agree with the Saleh family's reasons for leaving Canada, other than the cold weather. I wish them happiness and safety wherever they go. FREE PALESTINE!!

People who keep saying the fight is with their own country. Just stop. We were all born into different circumstances. We were just blessed to have been born here. Two things can be true. Boarders need to be secured and the vast majority of these people are just looking for sanctuary.

Just a note, if the countries that you are considering, you have only visited as a tourist, a longer stay (maybe 6 months or so) may give you a better idea on what it actually is like.\n\nI am from (or rather, my family is, and I still have a majority of my family in) one of the countries you mentioned, and while every single thing you mention about it is true, many of the reasons you are choosing to leave Canada for is also applicable, though it may not be apparent to a visitor.\n\nPulling out and setting new roots are never easy, even if it may be the right choice. Subhanallah. I feel lucky to have been born in Indonesia. Even though there are so many people who live as Islam ID, not practicing Islam as a Muslim should do things like pray and so on. But we have an Islamic environment here, with many mosques (except in Bali, where the majority of the people are Hindus).\nIt's cheap to live here, but not with the education. Even international Islamic boarding schools are so expensive here. If you can get a good job in Jakarta with a good company, you better stay here. \nI'm not sure it's cheap or not, but you can pay min 250 to 430 dollar per month for nanny or helper to clean the house. \nAnd for the weather, we only have two. Summer and rain. Sometimes it rains in the summer. And sometimes it's very hot during the rainy season. Hahahaha. Best wishes for your family.\nOr in Malaysia, they also have a good environment for Muslim children. I have some friends in Malaysia. Food is also cheap and similar to the Middle East. I moved to Dubai from Macedonia which is a Christian independent country. I can t say that there is a kind of racism regarding the religion there. But the country itself does not have any future for the young generation. So I've been living here for about 6 and half years in a very beautiful country weather Islam but however, the economy and the market are seasonal and very competitive. Unfortunately, many other populations are taking the economy to the other way and for that reason, I might leave from here as well. Islam is here Alhamdulillah and all but the economy fail. So my suggestion is if you move even to a Muslim country according to your 5 points. Move with the business idea if you can open your own business. DO NOT MOVE AS AN EMPLOYEES NOWHERE cause you have a powerfull passport and the majority doesn't work that way. If you move as a single that can work out. But as a family, it requires a lot to earn and survive in Muslim countries. I hope Allah blesses you with more wealth.

Not every Muslim majority country is an easy place to practice. I’ve experienced more prejudice as a hijabi in certain “Islamic” countries than in my very homogeneous and conservative town in the US. Be sure to enter this journey with eyes wide open. God bless ?

You should consider moving to Africa in countries like Ghana,Nigeria,Kenya,Uganda,Rwanda,and most Especially Tanzania and Gambia which is dominated by majority moslems .You can buy a house there,houses are cheap,weather is very beautiful people are friendly,it very safe,You can live a dream life while there.l plan on retiring to Africa one day,slowly preparing for it.

I am from Pakistan and can't ever imagine leaving my country to go live in foreign lands. Alhamdullilah, I feel very safe here. It is a Muslim country, alhamdullilah, although there is a major class of citizen coming up here who'd like it to be more 'open minded' like the West. May Allah protect us from that day. I would suggest that you move to Saudi Arabia, preferably into or around Makkah or Madinah. I believe that these two are the best cities in the world for Muslims. Imagine saying your five daily prayers in Masjid-e-Haraam or Masjid-e-Nabawi! You kids could study there and grow up speaking and understanding Arabic like Arabs. Imagine the understanding and appreciation they'd have of the Quran and Hadith moreover, they'd be able to reap benefits from the work of all major scholars. InshaaAllah. BUT, on the other hand, you guys are Allah's workers there in Canada. You could do dawah, spread Allah's word (you're doing that beautifully already). You'd be doing what the messengers of Allah did. Think of it this way, if you leave, there'll be one less family supporting Palestine and the Islamic way of life in Canada. Maybe, Allah wants someone like you to represent Him there. Allahu Aalam. There's this beautiful piece of Urdu poetry by Syed Sadiq Hussain, it goes something like this ' Tundi-e-baad-e mukhalif se na ghabraa ae uqaab --- Yeh to chalti hai tujhay ooncha uranay ke liye!' translation:- Do not fear the strength of the head-winds (opposing wind) O' eagle -- it but blows only to help you soar higher! All I'm saying is that there's another way of looking at your dilemma. You guys are like a small, bright light in a dark night and can help lost travelers reach safety. Cheesy, I know. I used to watch a lot of non Muslim couple influencers but since the war on occupied palestine I have seen that non of the couples you tubers have even mentioned what is happening its like they are all in the agenda just to distract people while a genocide is happening right before our eyes, sad thing is majority of the people around the world are ipening their eyes to the reality its not about religion or race its about humanity so when people who have such huge platforms keep quiet it shows their values. so I have decided to strictly keep my eyes on our muslim youtubers. South Africa is a great place for us. There are many people who wear hijab, there are mosques in all the major cities and in some rural towns too. The cities are muliticultural, there are diverse options for halal food. There are plenty of great schools, including islamic schools and there are plenty of madrassahs. Malls in the big cities have salaah rooms. \nThere is a large diverse muslim community. ❤

I have lived in Malaysia (5 yrs), Bahrain (7 yrs), Pakistan (born and raised), and now in Canada (4 yrs). Each have had their own pros and cons. \n\nMalaysia has some of the nicest people in the world. Beautiful country, lots of rain, temperatures usually between 28-30C, all year round. Laid back office culture. Lots of work holidays! In the last one decade Pakistani community has grown steadily esp in Kuala Lumpur. English is widely spiken and understood in major cities.\nAs for the cons, very expensive international schools and daycare centers, that would take a huge chunk out of your income. Pakistani food not that easy or cheap to find, but that may have changed since we left. Relatively high cost of living, if you need to live near city centers.\n\nBahrain sees both winter and summer. Not much of other 2 seasons. A large Pakistani, Indian community, so much so that I rarely ever used English to communicate with cab drivers or shop seles reps!. Regular Arabs struggle a bit with English though. Pakistani/ Indian food very easily available n affordable. Again a laid back work culture. Maids and domestic help easily available. \nAs to the cons, you may encounter racism sometimes. Arabs are generally nice ppl but u may sometimes find them condescending in their dealings with you. Probably bc most of Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshi and Nepalis form the labour force (and we all know how worker strata is treated in the Middle East). International schools are again quite expensive (lesser than Malaysia though).

My family moved 22 years ago from Mumbai to Toronto…while the struggles said on your channel are real, there are also perks which I feel like you didn’t get to experience. If people have good jobs, stable family life then DON’T move…culture shock is huge that people moving from India don’t consider, just by wearing and eating western food doesn’t make you western! \nThere are sacrifices to be expected which you don’t realized as your great grandparents or grandparents might have made when they started out! \nMoving to another country is never easy, unless you’re loaded with $$$. People in India are lazy as they have people working for them and don’t realize how difficult it is living outside of that lifestyle (not everyone in India can afford housekeepers, cleaners). Being independent and doing things on your own has its own positive (just need to figure it out). \n\nI have worked in healthcare for 16 years and let me tell you…social system works better as everyone gets the health service without being judged about $$. Healthcare is based on priority around the world but people don’t understand this as they feel like their problem should be attended first no matter what! \nNot all drugs are legal in Canada, marijuana is legal though with acceptable limits…you probably were misinformed about drugs! Teach your kids about right /wrong when it comes to drugs, smoking, alcohol and that’s the best you can do! I know people who live in India and do all that which you mentioned you were worried about for your kids. \n\nWhat you experienced was a classic case of culture shock and your expectations didn’t match the reality! Moving away from family, changing lifestyle and being responsible adult (doing things on your own rather than relying on workers) is difficult but doesn’t make the country bad that have you an opportunity to settle! Don’t take things for granted even while you live in India…appreciate the effort that goes into everything- keeping roads clean, people working hard, etc. \n\nBest advice I can give to those considering moving to any foreign country is: Keep an open mind, be ready to work hard and visit the country you want to move to before you make the grave decision of uprooting everything! Things usually turn around and get better after 5 years mark- focus on upgrading your education if you have a basic degree from India (even you know how competitive things are in India, so how can western world not be!)\n\nBeing vegetarian- things are tough when it comes to food but living in Toronto has never been an issue. Even people living in India avoid outside food due to hygiene reason which is not a problem in Canada as food inspection is pretty strict (having worked with ministry of health). \nCities like Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc has variety of food options (including veg)…just have to be really open to trying other cultural food (Asian, Mediterranean, Italian,Mexican, etc). My parents are strict vegetarians and have never truly struggled when they are out. \n\nCost of living is definitely higher as the standard living is higher compared to India. Education (until grade 12) and healthcare are free (in reality, you pay tax for it), you get pension when you retire (based on your contributions and type of jobs you had)…you failed to navigate the system and I will say having family around is why you didn’t take opportunity to explore and learn on your own. \n\nPlease don’t come to Canada and make life difficult for other Indians who choose to willingly accept the culture and lifestyle here after going through this hardship- cost of living and housing has gone up dramatically in major cities because of immigration influx! If you’re serious about moving and putting up, only then move! Otherwise all the best for your future endeavours!

The definition of a canadain is an american without a gun and public health care... otherwise it is hard to tell the difference.... Canada has almost 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating... The province of Quebec which is still part of canada (don't tell them that) has the language police to be as anti-american and any democratic as possible, they only tolerate english if it is in US$ and tax other taxes with the most expensive bloated government of any state north of Mexico. The cartels are envious... all things purchased are imported (except animals and greenhouse tomatoes)are american with the exchange rate of almost 33%... If you are a doctor or nurse or medical specialist trained in western medicine like Europe, Australia, etc. You almost have to start over.... SAD. Like América, big cars/trucks are king, public transit is not a thing... yeh there are some buses in a few major cities, more of an after thought... The only positive thing about coming from another country climate is you have something to compare with.... Personally i was born here so where do i go... A few friends have travelled to the US but have not returned... its warmer in Texas i guess... Canadians are suspicious of Asians because they come with money and buy up property esp in Vancouver/Toronto hence the concern... As for you making friends, you seem to be very Americanized, speak English well and not so traditional except for being married... you would make a lot of people comfortable among traditional Canadians... just my after thoughts...

No all of Ontario is that expensive . Toronto, Ottawa and major cities but if you were to look at Cambridge or you are 1 hour from T.O. but you can get a studio or apartment under 2k . You can get a fully detached Houseman cambridge ontario 3 bedroom around 1100 for around 500k . Again about 1 hour away. It depends what you want. If you like the big city of Toronto then you have to pay to play. Right now there are opportunities especially with work from home now.

I wonder why the whites are moving is because the police are not upholding the law they re running away. In my teens, early 20s (early 00's) i dreamed of emigrating to Canada and Toronto. It had beautiful nature, was clean, safe, nice people and a great standard of living. But seeing it now especially the big cities is really sad. Many countries have had major turn arounds (Colombia for instance) and hopefully Canada can get back to being a great place again. I was born in Canada but I'm married to an immigrant, a hard-working model citizen who is loved by everyone, we have a child together and we've now decided to move back to Japan. I will not have my daughter grow up under sharia law. I'm educated enough to know what happens when we allow Islam power. They never identified themselves as Palestinian before the creation of Israel. This is bizarre to take a Roman name to call yourself. Most immigrants just use Canada as a gateway to US in ultimate goal. Canada is known for its welcoming immigration policy in comparison to US. And at the end how brain drain Canada has to its neighbor. Living cost in major US cities is much higher than Canada. At least there is more career opportunities in US.

I criticized the genocide of my Sikh brothers, sisters and children in riots in Delhi in 1984. That incident is the one that led few sikhs but not all to ask for a separate nation that should be named Khalistan and I want the media to not to call those sikhs “extremists”in foreign countries, we can call them Sikhs asking for separate country, they can not be called “Khalistanis” either because Khalistan doesn’t exist. Also, sikhs and Hindus always got along well. In all India, there are sikhs living everywhere just like Hindus. There was never a conflict or dispute between them. I grew up in a society where my neighbors are all mixed Hindus and Punjabis. As much as Sikhs visit Hindu Temples same goes for Hindus visiting Gurudawaras. How about our film industry, there are so many sikh Punjabis like the Kapoors, the Malhotras, they don’t want to leave India also. I don’t want to my Indian sikhs to make a separate nation. I want the Indian police not to discriminate against certain religion and not be biased. If a Hindu policeman saves a Hindu criminal and wrongfully and falsely put a non Hindu person in jail then it’s purely wrong and discriminatory and same thing goes for a Sikh policeman. How about our soldiers, majority of our soldiers are Hindus and Sikhs, they are protecting India and it’s citizens. I want people of all religions and backgrounds in India to live peacefully and get along.

Rent hike are caused by property loan repayments which caused by the interest rate.
