Infiltration is done, next will be a hostile takeover. Dont worry, if it gets bad we'll just call in the army of immigrants to protect us. P.S. we're phukked.

First minute and you've already contradicted yourself massively. You say they're protesting POST-graduate work permits but didn't come here to study? Are your viewers really this dense?

It is all lost . Who gives a fig ? Make Canada an open aired country . Let us all live in the streets and snuggle together on the cold artic nights . We're half way there . Let them stay . Let us invite all of the world . We are a free country .

Canada has too many people and students from India. It seems to me they didn't come here to be Canadians. They're here to make the country a platform for thier politics and religion. I for one, am sick of walkiing through my old neighbourhood and feeling like I am living in someone else's country and not my own. Make Canada Canadian Again. If the students don't like it, they can return to the country of their origin.\n\nNo! I don't believe the Indian students in PEI should stay in Canada. Mass illegal immigration? I support mass deportation. I want my country back!

So we’re both unfriendly to business yet also allow oligopolies. We don’t get enough foreign investment yet foreigners or ruining the housing market as investors. Somehow I don’t think the conservatives will do any better. ?

Correction: Vancouver, while facing extreme difficulties due to a lack of affordable high-density housing, is doing a LOT to try and fix this in comparison to other cities in the infrastructure sector. Just over the last couple years, we've had some pretty extreme zoning policy changes, we have a yearly rent increase cap (which backfires once tenants move out, but that's another story) and we're building new transit infrastructure which now, legally, requires only high-density housing build in the surrounding areas. \n\nThe population growth here has wildly exceeded the amount of housing growth in the last few decades. Not to mention the insufficient wages, high cost of living and a broken healthcare system. Our people are struggling but if you have to live in a city right now, I'd choose the greater Vancouver area. Down the road, I see us improving the most infrastructure-wise out of any Canadian city, which will hopefully benefit social sectors as well.

You have every right to be proud of where you're from and proud of what your country does and what it stands for unfortunately for me I don't align with that. . I appreciate that you value where you are.But on the whole when you are asking someone to change their citizenship and change the life that they are accustomed 2 something that is Almost synonymous worldwide with absolute chaos and biblical financism with theat accessibility of so much for power. I'm sorry, it's just not that attractive. In fact, it's one of the reasons. I don't own a passport. And even if I do own a passport in the future I will never visit. The united states.

This is exactly what companies and the government want. Can’t fight back and demand better conditions if you’re already financially on life support. Same thing is happening in the UK.
|
| 2024-05-10 | 1 |
I don't understand numbers? Are they yearly, every 10 years? Seems impossible yearly because UK has 1,000,000, for several years and we're only 40 millions.

Well, quite frankly, immigrants that arrive here DON'T ADAPT TO OUR VALUES. Why in the world do you think it's fine to go to a protest about a hotly divisive political issue that has been at war with each other since 1948?? Of course any local Canadian (and especially pure rooted ones) are going to massively frown on you and dare to comment at you about what you're doing!! What did you expect?!? Zero respect for our Canadian land to come here live among us while supporting foreign communities at war?? Zero self-awareness that you're encouraging local groups that bring that issue here!! Bye-bye!

Israel is the one who needs to stop committing genocide and the West needs to stop supporting and funding this genocide. He is absolutely right. This is not an Arab world concern, it is for Israel and the West to realize what they're doing. By letting things go on as they have the Arab world is permitting Israel and the West to show to the whole world what they really are made of because this genocide will have massive ramifications... this will not end well for the West.

*shrugs* Canadian here. No interest in leaving, especially to the US of all places.\n\nI mean think that through. My income tax is around 17% of my income. My capital gains on investments is around 15%. I get free health care (which while obviously not free - is paid out of my taxes, yet isn't rationed or in-network restrictions, doesn't have copays and cover 90% of my medical needs). I have a government that even at its worst, is orders of magnitude more rational and public serving than the US (and god help you if Trump gets back in). Not to mention a country that doesn't literally have a major gun violence/mass shooting even EVERY FRICKING WEEK, unlike the US.\n\nAnd yes, I live in Metro Van and I have an 850 sq ft two bedroom apt I'm renting for $1250/mo - so maybe the problem isn't simply that the housing market is too tight (which it is), but that you've picked a city in high demand that's boxed in on four sides - ocean to the west, mountains to the north, US border to the south and what little farmland the lower mainland can sustain to the east. You could, of course, move elsewhere in Canada like Edmonton or Calgary, but yeah...not whiny enough, I guess.\n\nSorry, you're entitled to you views of course, but I can't help thinking most of your problems are self-inflicted... so yeah, move to the States.\n\nI'm SURE it'll work out better for you....

Well I say its hypocrisy. Year after year, the immigration numbers keep increasing, the number of people applying for a PR and also getting a PR from abroad and inside Canada keeps increasing. People say they're fed up and they still continue to live in Canada. I say its all a hoax, nobody actually leaves, its just when two friends meet they say they're fed up of Canada, but the fact is they want a PR or citizenship and they continue to stay in Canada. So I say, the whole video is pointless

I wanna live here. I just can't afford to. I'm 38 and live with my mum, which is also due to my health but i have lived alone many times. my whole disability cheque would not cover a one bedroom and it's very hard to find a studio, they're all taken. Trudeau isn't the problem. he's a symptom. these problems are happening all over the world. the corporations are grinding people to dust in every country, so that we can log forests and fill landfills, medicate people so they can be Functional enough to create value for a company. any Canada is great, but it, and the world as a whole, at the moment, kid of suck.

Calgary is the same. People openly smoking crack all times of day and night, and fentanyl / tranq ODs all over. It used to be so clean when I moved here in 2012. Not any more. Provincial govt say they're creating 200 rehab beds. We need THOUSANDS!

Canadian Experience???? So if you're expert in Europe you still can't qualify for Canada, lol ridiculous. \nDoes Canada is superior than EU, US, Australia and more countries? Canada think they're the best in the world?

sorry, what is Canada? The title is offensive (and not in a PC way).. if its multicultural, i get it.. but the title itself makes it seem like if you're from an Indian background, you're not Canadian? Lots of scared people these days... I guarantee you ask anyone of these people making a comment.. go 3 questions deep and you'll find a scared insecure person, who is frightened about their place in society, and just uninformed about anything they're not used to

Muslims are not happy in the Gaza or Iran. They're not happy in Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Lebanon and Bahrain.\nWhere they feel happy?\nMuslims are happy in Australia. They're feeling happy in the UK, France, Italy and Germany. They are happy in Sweden, United-States, Norway and all other non-Muslim countries.\nWho they blame their sadness on?\nThey blame it neither on Islam nor their Muslim leaders and not themselves.\nThey blame it on the countries in which they feel happy, and they want to change those countries to be more like their own countries where they were not happy at the first place

Your solution is to rely on Neoliberalism and the private sector schemes to get you out of the problem, it creates. Nationalization of industries is the answer you’re looking for.

Canada does need lots off immigrants to stave off a demographic collapse. But immigrantion means housing issues. And it's not like the US or Europe where most of the immigrants will be on the lower-side of the skilled labor pool: the average immigrant to Canada will be better educated and have more earning potential than the average native. They're going to make more and buy better houses. That WILL cause social problems, no matter what you think of the issue.
|
| 2024-05-06 | 0 |
conservative, liberal, same shit different packaging because both parties are responsible for this issue. That issue being for so many decades homes have been treated as investments domestically and from foreign investors instead of ACTUAL homes for people to live in. Now we're reaping the consequences and the country has long rotted from the core. Unless a tyrannical-ish gov steps up and curbs the shit out of investors, serial landlords, and collusion within the real estate market, we're doomed.

Thanks very much for sharing this list. You hit all the major points why immigrants are leaving Canada. There are also Canadian-born citizens leaving Canada. Me and my family just moved from Canada to El Salvador last year. Why did we leave? One word - wokeism. We were afraid for our children! This ideology is very dangerous for our youth. They're being indoctrinated and supported in public schools to pump themselves with hormones and mutilate their bodies with surgery to change genders. It was so scary to us that we high-tailed it out of there! Not to mention the government tyranny. Many people still dont see it but many have now woken up to the reality that our government is moving away from democracy towards socialism, and we believe eventually towards totalitarianism. Don't get me wrong, socialism and collectivism in general can work well for societies if the government has the people's best interests in mind - but in a corporatocracy, that is NOT the case.

My husbands sister is moving with her family to Canada this year. They wanted to before covid and we tried to talk them out of it. Now they have decided to do it. Applied and got visa very quick. If it doesn’t work out they can come back. I hope it goes well for them. But as a Canadian I have zero interest in living in the dumpster fire of a country. I don’t think they know what they’re walking into….

In other words, they're not gonna allow any of the so-called palestinians and hamas to come in their country. They don't care about him. Talks a good game though.

I'm Canadian; lived abroad for several years (in Europe). I returned here a few years ago and one of the things I love about Canada, which I really noticed was contrasting to Europe, is that we are not afraid to be self-critical (even extremely so), to re-visit the injustices in our past, acknowledge them, and work to try to rectify them. Also, there is a strong sense of community: most Canadians want to help improve their communities and help our fellow citizens. There are indeed some serious problems, as there are in all other countries, and we hope to overcome them and improve our society by working together. For me, one of the beautiful things about a country, what makes its society really interesting and even attractive, is our ability to constantly recognizing our mistakes and faults and try to improve upon them.

the exact same thing is happening in Ireland right now, there's Indians everywhere, they're mostly law abiding decent people but I don't want to be surrounded by Indians babbling in their own language and making me feel like I'm in a foreign land, imagine working all day with Indians and they hardly utter one word to you all day and just speak to each other in their own language, it's not fun, plus they are willing to work longer hours for less pay and worse conditions and live in worse conditions like paying high rent to share a room with multiple people, it's lowering the standard of living for us, not just Indians all migrants

Honestly the real issue is income disparity.
\nBefore the 1970s, Workers were getting 5% raises every year.
\nAfter the 1970s , 0.5 - 1% raises year after year for the working class. all the while politicians and CEOs are giving themselves 5% raises yearly and CEOs get options packages connected to the stock prices (mass layoffs increase stock prices).
\nCRIMINALS !!!!!!! and they know it !!!!
\n50 years of GARBAGE STUCK AT THE TOP ECONOMICS and you wonder why we're here.?.?.?.?.?
\nHonestly the real issue is income disparity.

I`d like to ask whose idea was it to decide and announce Britain was to become a multi culture? Given Britains size and our centuries old record of protecting our combined nation state including fighting together to defend our country wars (our one and only Civil War at least favoured one section of our home population) the future of the once beloved country is heart breakingly obvious. The already evident lack of cohesion by some new comers who are determined to change their whole new country into a just like home travesty something they`re culture seems to demand future peace here, is over!

I completely disagree with what they are doing as much as sharia law is perfect and a real punishment unlike the British so called punishment of leaving people in a free accommodation aka prison where they’re fed for free can have a Xbox in ur cell, tv and phones, stereo speakers and many more things that shouldn’t be allowed in prisons if they’re trying to punish people some people want to go to prison and will murder ur entire family to get there and yet in saudi u see people leaving their belongings for days and no one touches it, uk u leave ur bike for 7 minutes and it’s gone when ur back chain been cut off and all

Having carbon tax isn’t a bad idea but you need reasons to incentivize the tax. Like having the proper infrastructure to affectively implement this without reducing quality of life. If everyone has a home that’s close to everything they need then they’re less likely to invest in car or buy gas. Safer narrower streets also help in that. But having a mainly car dependent infrastructure forcing people to get cars then implementing a tax just adds extra expense for an already expensive and ineffective form of transportation that can drive the poor to be poorer.

Great video, non political. It’s hard to believe that neither of the large parties in Canada have a plan to mitigate these issues. They’re focused on maintaining their political donations that they barely make contributions. Even with a plan, there is no guarantee that within a 4 year term any politician will be able to impact change with the red tape that every previous government official has added. Decreasing taxes will create an uproar in the government employee. building a department to fight monopolies will require much more tax dollars and time that we don’t have. By the time these changes take place the population will naturally become high income individuals, with low income individuals migrating out of Canada.

I'm a Canadian citizen with permanent residence in the states. You're delusional of you think it's any better here. I'd rather be in Canada where I don't go into debt for breaking my leg, because the housing and other things the video is saying is just as bad here.\n\nAlso think it's weird that the video starts with immigrants are leaving Canada but then immediately blames them for the rising housing market? Which is it? Are they leaving or are they staying buying homes? It can't be both.

Dont worry Canadians those who left werent the brightest or the best. 90% are working menial jobs as they wouldn't even get that in india. \nNot because they're not talented or skilled, but a flawed reservation system along with lack of jobs in India drives them away .\nTheyll migrate back when they get some jobs in india

Making matters even worse, the Trudeau government announced in the most recent budget that they're increasing the capitol gains tax from fifty percent to two-thirds.\n\nWhy invest in Canada if the government is going to tax that investment at two-thirds? The answer: No one will. It's like Justin Trudeau is actively trying to ruin the country.
