anyone who tries to push the narrative that neighboring states don't like or want to help the palestinians, doesn't fully grasp one of the main concepts of this conflict. they consider this their homeland and they know if they leave, israel will not let them return. just like the millions of other palestinian refugees that currently live in neighboring states.

Need to start calling it what it is - they’re trying to gaslight the arabs, as if they are the ones bombing Gaza. If Israel is true to what it says it would show none combatants mercy, move the Palestinians refugees into the illegal settlement, plenty of space there and they plan on building more homes in the area.

A lot of history behind why Arab nations won't take Palestinian refugees. 1) They don't want a repeat of an attempted coup de'tat that Jordan went through decades ago and 2) they don't want Netanyahu, the Knesset, and the IDF taking over Gaza and the West Bank.

Remember the Arab world considers the Palestinians as the Gypsies of the Middle East. Hence why Arab countries are refusing any refugees

Due to the past how Palestinians refugees were allowed into neighboring Muslim countries, all hosts eventually regretted allowing them in their countries & now Palestinians are not welcomed. Apparently they clash & refuse to Assimilate with others.

I'm so disappointed in you all. The irony is that I have a daughter who is constantly being targeted by young neighboring men here, kids whose folks came here as refugees from the Islamic world. They treat this modest, young woman --- and so many others--- like less than dogs. Muslim men in predominantly Muslim societies have no special mandate in treating women well. why is western world always concern about why arab world doesnt want to take the palestinians as refugees? its their home their land, they are the one who have the right to live there as a citizen not as a refugee, and their resistance movement will protect their dignity

Don’t move to Canada. I’ve lived here all my life and it’s gotten so bad every where you look there’s homeless camps. There’s people living in recreation vehicles on the side of the road. I hope when refugees and immigrants land on Canadian soil they get issued a tent and a hand shake (good luck)

Isn't this the same as preventing Ukrainian refugees from being able to leave Ukraine while active fighting is taking place? If neighboring countries allow safe passage to civilians, Hamas can duke it out with IDF all they want. But I understand they likely don't at all trust Israel to then let refugees return back to Gaza.

There is critisism for the Arab world, but its specifically for Arab leaders, who with their vast power and influence can encourage the oppressing party to stop the bombardment of Palestine. The critism is not, as this journalist implied, critisism because they havent taken Palestinians as refugees. Apt response by this leader in addressing the problem at hand and boltering the Palestinian cause!
