Why did they come to Canada if they just want to live in ' Little India '. They should have just stayed where they were.

I met plenty of delusional Canadians that live by a theory that immigrants will come to Canada and will automatically adopt Canadian culture.\nIn practice, what is logical, what is obvious, what is historical has taken place, proving ideological theory does not work.\nIt is all because government says so, that we will all mingle and get on with each other, I did not see that in my work place.

At one time the immigrants were MOSTLY from Europe it was them that built Canada now they come mostly from middle / far east. Seem to let anyone in these days. And most of them make no effort at integration. Alien cultures.

Quite frankly, if the government isn't going to take action, then it's up to Canadians to spread the word worldwide of the horrors of Canada to at least try and disincentive more people from coming.

The government should ban Indians from coming to Canada for a decade at least, give priority to eastern europeans for example if they truly care about diversity, otherwise, this diversity claim is a lie if u bring 70 % Indians while others contribute only 30%

To the white undeveloped third world country racist , Indians who are coming mostly well educated engineers and skilled labor. they did not come as your ancestor who ran for poverty and war from Europe. Indians who migrate are paying 30% tax which is used for all of your health care and other Govt services. there isn't third world in eastern Europe ? why the heck you guys don't call yourself as a German Canadian or a Romanian Canadian, but only say African Canadian and Indian Canadian. is your ancestors are First Nation. no right ? all were immigrants who came here for a better life. so do not say or throw your foolish hypocrisy here. Canada is not just for white europeans . well even in Europe you guys keep the class (caste) system from their language. so Indians are friendly did not invade any native people as your colonization harmed these lands. I am Canadian and cannot bear to see rubbish comments. India has 28 states and you guys are only focusing one specific ethnic people and generalizing whole India is really rubbish.

Homeless across the country is mainly white, not the fault of anyone who comes here. However just cause someone is not homeless, doesn’t mean they ain’t struggling. Doesn’t matter what race you are, living in Canada is hard right now. I have many friends who came from India, few I live with, they too aren’t having the easiest of times. We all just surviving out here, tying to.

I came in the 80s to canada as a landed immigrant which is equivalent to a PR now. Life was much easier for newcomers then to start. Jobs were readily available and with a good command of the English language and a broader mind to accept other cultures and people i felt the adaptation was good. As for the struggles i had lots of patience and didn't mind doing my own chores. Cook clean at home and work in a 9 to 5 office job. I even volunteered as a Sunday school teacher to young children. I also kept my hobby as an artist. It depends on ones courage and patience and ability to adapt in a foreign country. Canada was the best decision i took for me and my family especially my children who graduated here.yes now i am retired over 60 and yes i do spend time abroad including india while it snows here? after covid and the ongoing wars and the recession around the world life is not the same in any part of the world. You have to make the best decision for your particular situation you are in. I never regretted coming to Canada ??.

And this must be stopped!!!! It’s not just the time to balance budget, but put a cap on unfair and unjust numbers of immigrants coming by mass to Canada. We need a national incentive of natural population growth and limit numbers of newcomers to minimum! Just those by merit and trade qualifications, not by mere wish.

Brampton was nice place to live back in the day. Now it is a shithole, infested with crime, violence and everything else. Toronto has been well upon its way there for more than a decade . I guess cultural enrichment and diversity struck again. \n\nThis what happens when a country no longer controls its borders and has no say as to who comes in and how many. Canadians are living those end results and consequences in real time. The thing is that too many of them voted for this and are too passive, apathetic or spineless to say or do anything. Which isn’t necessarily all that different from the rest of Western countries.\n\nPeople who don’t care about Canada, Canadian culture, values etc. Canada has just become a port of convenience, where people, like in this case from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc., land, and are more interested in “what can you give me”, “ what can you do for me”, no forethought of hey, maybe this is a two-way street where something is also expected from me to give back to the country and society that gave me an opportunity. If this is allowed to continue it will only get worse.

That is exactly what Trudeau wants, replace Canadians with those that feel beholden to Trudeau and will vote for him. So sad that city is in that state. Anyone who comes to Canada to live here needs to adapt to Canadian values, morals and way of life. If they do not want to they can go back to the country they came from. We do not want our culture over written by another.

The mayor of Edmonton is Indian and now the roads dont get clean up in winter ( Only the heavy traffic ones ) ... Summer comes and the grass is full of weed around the city .. As I said in earlier post, Canada is a cautionary tale of what happens when you go tooooo far left ie a disaster. Importing an enormous amount of military age men from India almost all Panjabi is incredibly dangerous, because when that happens , they have 0 interest in adapting and essentially set up ethnic ghettoes and you have parallel societies. The US has caps on how much from a certain country can come, only 130K Indians came in 2023, in a country of 350 million people , Trudeau is importing a million of them mostly men in a country of 40 million!!! Everyone complaining should ask themselves a few questions. These Indians and by extent all immigrants have significant barriers. I'll refer to only indians here. They have names which are hard to pronounce. Some of them have a look only a mother can love. They cant speak as well as we do. We cannot understand them. Majority of them come here w nothing. Yet...yet...they have become THE Richest diaspora in America and they are not doing too badly here in Canada as well. Now you have to ask yourself why is this the case. They start frombthe bottom and in 20 years or less they end up at the top. I think most rational sane ppl will know the answer, other immigrants will know the answer. The answer is: they work hard at educating themselves and then they work hard at their jobs. Some of you will say they get tax breaks and child tax subsidies etc. But those things are handouts...its not designed for you to become rich from, just to keep from drowning. So its not handouts. They literally work hard all their lives. Do you see any of them at the ball game? Or out partying? Or out having a grand time. The same ones delivering your uber eats in 20 years will be richer than you. Even with all the barriers I mentioned before. I am an Eastern European national whos been here for the past 40 years.

The majority of Indians do not want to associate with other Canadians. The racism in their culture is high. It is to the point that even Indians ?? are complaining about Indians coming to Canada. Many are doing the PR hustle. Have a child go to school. Then once they get PR. The sponsor someone.

You're free to judge but I have not seen any Indian/ Asian/ Latino immigrant homeless. Indians bring high skill in IT, banking and medicine which Canada desperately needs. Latino/ European ethnic immigrants also work very hard (construction/ farms etc.) and support their families and children. These basic skills keeps Canada running. Immigrant children are the highest number of graduate degree holders. Students line up in hundreds because they are willing to work and make a mark. They stand in freezing weather for hours just to try their luck. That's dedication. The only homeless I have seen are Canadians/ Native Americans even when the govt. pays millions in welfare and development programs to get their life back on track. Also, all these immigrants pay thousands of dollars to come to Canada (Visa fees, plane tickets, moving expenses) so that they can pay taxes to Canadians. Why are you crying all the time just they are not into cold pasta?

there is too much immigration so its a good thing if they leave for canadians. the housing cost a fortune now and its hard to find an apartment so its good if we can have more for us. i think many organization are lying to immigrants and keep them coming here. thats one of the problem for them. they dont say the truth about economy and the problems in canada. we can blame Liberal party and Justin Trudeau for the mess in the last years. there is a huge housing problem but he keep immigration level up without doing much to fix the housing problem.

Immigrants are working for Canada, that's why. It's money. It's not the immigrants fault, its Trudeau's. People around the world will move to where the grass is greener and will bring the culture and religion as well. I don't like the idols being around Canada, it is not compatible to Christian values. I once work at a place with all indians and there were only 5 white people 2 Africans and 1 Muslim they always treated us like crap at that work place you go to a fast food place or bank they serve there own kind faster then anyone else they complain we all are racist but in reality they are the ones who are racist the only way most of them made money to come to Canada was scamming money out of people from there own country they bring nothing but shame to my eyes it's time for us Canadians seriously do something about it our we all are going to be left in the wind

I would like to provide a background to all the native Canadians who are wondering why the East Indian population is growing in Canada they are lot of education consultants back in India who market Canada as a lucrative country to immigrate brownie points for studying to get PR free healthcare free education till grade 12 so everyone is trying their best to come to Canada on a student visa.Once students come on a student visa they need to work 20 hours a week which they are legally allowed to work on international student visa so locals feel they are taking their jobs In US international students are only allowed to work on campus despite so many job opportunities.Colleges in Canada charge 4-5 times tuition which is profitable to the education industry and provincial government.Once these students Graduate they get open work permit where they can gain Canadian work experience and apply for PR and citizenship eventually.All this benefits the government and the educational institutions overall in terms of taxes and revenue..

The problem in one word is multiculturalism.\nThe fallacy that Canada has since the beginning, it imposed it with the now called First Nations and it has it now with the so many origines we are literally invaded now. The system today is the most racially motivated and serration motivation. \nPeople is invited to come and live in this country, without limits of respect to the existing Canadian culture, the one and only culture despise and not allowed to participate in the fallacy of multiculturalism. \nCome top Canada, bring what you want, especially your culture, with all its defects and vices. For anyone to reply: I’m on the fence here, I grew up in downtown Toronto in a very mixed neighbourhood. I do not like Trudeau liberals and NDP coalition. I disagree with the mass immigration under his reign: Canada’s healthcare system has been on life support for decades… inflation, tent cities and food insecurity. We need to fix our own problems before allowing immigration: “we need to put on our own O2 mask before helping others”. Stating that, since the Indian population has grown in Brampton, what’s the solution? They are already there— i know many ppl who have come to Canada and do not know the language, can only speak Italian, and Chinese… to name a few. Seems like the ppl who are already in Brampton can speak English, and chose to speak their own language amongst themselves. \nIn Toronto we have Greek, China, Corso Italia, little Tokyo, Little Jamaica, little Portugal, little Malta, Roncesvalles (polish), and Ukrainian towns. \nI’m on the fence: since they are already here, when is it considered Racism??? \nHonest question.. looking for insightful answers and or information.

Canada looks big on the map, but it's really a small country with just a handful of 'big' cities. Immigration is important and has been good for Canada, but we can easily be swamped by enormous countries like India, China, the Philippines when only a tiny percentage of people from those countries want to come here. The Christian, Britsh/European character is what built this country and it will be diluted and lost.

No worries Canadians, they are fleeing Canada with Canadian money and, have their own businesses or landowners in INDIA. A cab driver informed me they will be leaving and he owns land and businesses in India off of CANADIAN MONEY while driving a CAB in Canada. He said he and others are leaving because Canada is too expensive to live and because of the high cost they are unable to send money to INDIA, so they are leaving us. They used us, took our Cab driver jobs, etc, and now are fleeing, really nice people...NOT!. FYI they are not the only country who stole Canadian jobs and sent money to their 3rd world countries and will return back home to live in MANSIONS. I worked with a Philippine and he sent money home every paycheck and was looking forward to leaving Canada in 10 years with Canadian money and he will enjoy the rest of their life in a huge mansion.\nIt must be nice to come here, work, and then flee. Many have fled already and are enjoying their fruits while betraying Canada. Nice People.

I'm all for immigration to help a country grow however, what Canada has done is first, bring in too many at once and not INTEGRATED the new comers. \n\nFact is, if you want to go to a country because of their freedom and job opportunity then don't come and try to change the country into what you just fled from!!\n\nAnd this is what has happened. Canada has allowed our laws and even speech change to cater to a foreign culture and political idea. Canada became great for what it was and ways it was not for socialism and other country politics. We've got road sign in Pakistan and some in Mandarin and some in blah blah blah. Too many languages creates divide and this is the other issue. Our own country, a country that designates french or English has signs and communities designated in foreign languages. This is not acceptable and is a cause creating divide. You come, you learn the language and INTEGRATE! We loved our country, you wanted to come for what our country has so don't try to turn it into the country you fled! And stop alienating the people who were here before you. \n\nSo, these are the two BIG ISSUES Canadians complain about. Rightfully so. \n\nI myself don't live in Ontario but find Alberta has become a foreign country and I feel like I am in danger now in my own lands. Integration is so important, and Trudeau bringing in millions in a short time line did not integrate but now caused a great deal of violence and many new comers confused and hateful to Canadians when they simply don't understand that what they have done is not integrate but are overtaking and we feel at war with them.

Well if it’s true about the new quantum financial system. If we are going to get back all the taxes that were stolen from us because of the capture of us through our birth certificates in the corporation of Canada moving us from the law of the land to admiralty law of the water that means they have to go back to their own country in order to get the money that will be given to them! So I don’t think we have to worry about this in my opinion because I do believe this is coming and these people are going to go home.

Yet we are the racist ones! They come to Canada but only want to live within their own communities. They complain about Canada's traditions yet put up 50' statues of their gods. They bleed our social services while dodging taxes. Flood our schools with non english speaking kids, flood our country with endless children while bleeding our social services and Canadians can't afford their own children.

Sounds like most places in Canada. The house next door was just purchased by south asians. They put in a ‘suite’ and judging by the number of people it looks like 2, maybe 3 families. Send them all back. They’ve got homes in India and come here to take advantage of health care, etc.

If you go to another country, you need to dress like them, talk and act like them. If those outsiders come to Canada, they are allowed to do whatever they want including implementing their culture and not embracing the Canadian way. Globalism and socialism don't belong in Canada.

Canada doesn't need any larger population, contrary to Trudeau's/WEF plan to destroy the country by importing too many immigrants. \nOnce it's meaningless to be a Canadian because everyone is different from everyone else and they don't have shared values, then anyone can come in from anywhere and there will be no customs to check them. Canadian citizenship will be discontinued, and if we are still voting then, anyone in the world will be able to vote as a citizen of the world. If Globalists succeed in keeping everyone from traveling anywhere, we'll be stuck in this mess, eating crickets and being vaccinated by force. The other choice will be to take advantage of Canada's MAID service.
