Honestly you should have to drive 10 years in Canada with a G class licence and safe record in order to get your AZ. I don’t think deportation is the answer but he should have had to do a longer prison sentence, 2 years community service, never be allowed to drive that class of a vehicle and wait 5 years once released to reapply for a drivers license. Too much tax dollars already spent behind this man. The real victims will never have a voice and their families will never have closure.

What I do understand is that he took responsibility for what happened. He did not try to get away with it. It is not like he is some criminal gang member joy-riding around. While what u said is mostly true, I'd like to add that the top 10% indians dont immigrate to Canada coz the quality of life has degraded there.Your problem isn't too many indian immigrants, issue is too many underqualified indians. Don't allow just anyone to immigrate in your country. Allow only the best. Those who dont get into best Indian/ best US universities go to Canada.

Immigration can be good but it has been the ruin of Canada in years. I had to spend 150k more for my home. I can't go see a doctor for 3.5 months with an appointment. Emergency rooms are a disaster and the traffic in downtown is horrific. I don't care about getting my Amazon package half a day sooner, I don't get Tim Hortons often and I'm certainly not ordering food with some random guy coming to my home who demands I give him a five star rating.
