Yeah, Canada has kind of become dumpy. Too many problems on too many levels.

The real problem is the 53 billionaire families that sit on Canadians like a cancer. They caused the inflation and high rents. They bought the government’s zero action on rents. It’s the same all over the west. New Society please.✌️❤️

Canada is neither a Broken Country nor a Eutopia.\n\nThis video would make anyone want to up and leave. Strange.....we have problems that need to be addressed but overall, we have it good in Canada.\n\nDon't imagine the narrator has packed his bags.\n\nThink this is Political Propaganda.

The government created the problem, and then benefits from the problem.. as ppl die and suffer.\nSoon, they will clamp down on the problem, we will lose more freedoms due to fear for our safety, and then the government will find a solution to the problem.\n\nV for vendetta on a smaller scale?\n\nLiberals did the same thing with Covid— mandates, lockdowns, encouraging division, and then the war measures enactment. ??♀️\n\nSame is happening across North America

If israeli planters just went back t Europe. There would not be a problem. The indiginous peopkw have a right to live on the land they always lived on. I don't know why that is so difficult to understand! Its NOT COMPLICATED

We shouldn't let in any culture that brings in it's problems, that includes political turmoil or agents committing political assassinations on foreign soil.

If designated terrorist visiting Canada on forged documents can become Canadian citizen, then you should be questioning your government. They have become your problem now.

This was a great video, I appreciate your complete unbiased reporting! Lived in Toronto my whole life, in my 20s and yeah, it just gets worse by the day. You should have gone to union station. When I worked in there, there was a suspicious package that evacuated half the whole station, idek how many ODs which is horrible, I couldn’t count how many I saw or how many I reported. An OD I called about, left zipped up on a stretcher, like this is only what I saw on my smoke breaks. How my store had a panic button underneath every single till, one time this guy who had been a problem was choking out a girl in the middle of the station, security on the floor above just doing jack shit to the point myself and a random stranger passing by stepped in as she was turning purple. Like, I can’t put into words how the city is deteriorating every hour…

And people blame Trudeau for these issues. When the conservative majority is doing nothing that much to fix the problem as the liberal minority government is.

Justin Trudeau. That's our problem. He has completely destroyed our country. Coming form an Accountant that heavily studied economics in University - this is purely poor decision making and leadership.

I am a Québécoise de souche from Montreal living in Ottawa. I don't understand why I can easily make friend pretty much anywhere around the world but not in English Canada. Too much politeness and political correctness are a problem.

I love how the security guards were all brand new immigrants too ? In brampton there was a line up at a restaurant 1000 people long for ONE job posting. \n\nIts impossible to live here. And the government thinks its OK because aggregate market prives for apartments are 'acceptable'at 2300/month for a single bedroom. The problem is that 60% or mortgage come due this year, we have 2 million immigrants who are underhoused, and all these people are looking for multi bedroom units which have tripled in price since 2019\n\nEdit: before anyone takes this the wrong way, this is not the fault of the people coming here for a better life, it's a federal/provincial government problem for scamming 100s or thousands of people out of a life here.

Republicans voted against the bill trying to fix this and giving joe the power to close the border for just this very situation. \n\nGOP's Birder Union wanted this, Border Security and Patrol officers wanted this....speaker was already against the bill before he was even able to review it.\n\nTrump administration had control of congress and what did they do to fix this. How can you possibly defend their actions? They need the problem because its the only thing they have going for them since everything else they try to change gets destroyed by citizens at the polls.\n\nPlease make it make sense GOP......

First and foremost, Canada has a society problem. It is devoid of energy. To much rules, and restrictions. Lacks social activities, lacks life and energy in essence. People become bored, isolated, depressed and preserved. No social interactions, no competitiveness, no sport, no outdoors, no zeal, no enthusiasm. People barely talk to each other for fear of some dump privacy and security.\n\nThen on the other end for professional, too many protocols and licensing requirements for every single thing.\n\nIt is just too laidback for a modern society.\n\nFor me, I think the society needs to open up.

Dude, I am a student from another country. The government did not provide me home or money. I am working, I found a home myself, I pay rent myself, I am working and i pay tuition fee and I pay rent. I dont see how this problem is caused by international students. Haha, if you look closely. You will not find any international student living on the streets because we are educated, not on drugs, hard working. We work, earn and make a living. We dont rely on government for basic necessities. Dont blame us

Housing is a huge problem we immigrate more people than we build new homes that’s obviously going to be a problem. Growth has to happen by immigration or convincing the people here to have more children but you need to build the homes to keep up with the demand it’s that simple.

As someone who lives just outside of Toronto, the city has devolved in so many ways over the years. This is a huge problem that needs to be addressed ASAP.

Its sad about putting immigrants before native canadians, but at 08:00 asking the cop why she's there, and questioning her with the assumption that homeless are innocents and don't use drugs or cause problems.. yo, smh.

I lived in the city on and off as a kid and I saw homeless people every now and then depending where I was. I fell in love with the areas I lived in and seeing where my dad grew up and high park. Now I don’t feel safe. I don’t even think I’d feel safe bringing my dog down and visiting my family. Now I see a lot of people homeless in nicer areas and just everywhere. It’s truly so sad my dad even said that it there was problems when he was growing up but now it’s just so much worse.

the west is neglecting the people born here and flooding our countries with millions of people from the third world. the US has just as insane immigration numbers as us. I don't think most people hate immigrants but we cant sustain these numbers any more its killing us all. Then to see the drug problem get this out of hand because of Decriminalization has truly destroyed Toronto. i don't live in the GTA, a few hours outside of it, but the tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people leaving the city all say the same things said in this video. we cant continue down this path...

The homeless problem has become way worse over the years. Canada has become way too expensive to live with the outrageous prices in rent, heat, hydro, food, property taxes it’s bloody outrageous. Ppl loose their jobs and find they can’t afford to pay their rents and mortgages along with all the other bills if they can’t find another job right away. And companies are to hire minority over white ppl. A white male in Ontario, forget about it. White ppl have become minority now in the work force. Absolutely the cost of living has caused the homeless problem to sky rocket. As far as the system it’s true that the system takes care of foreigners first over Canadians. I remember many years ago I tried to get student assistance to take courses and I was rejected because I lived with a parent, the person on the other end of the phone told me strait out if I was a foreigner I’d of gotten the assistance, and this was way before Trudeau was in the picture!!!

Another transplant that has no clue about Toronto. These trailer park transplant don't realize that its the small towns they come from that send all these addicts, alcoholics and criminals to Toronto. For decades small towns have been dumping their most valuable residents on buses and sending them to Toronto. And whenever the government proposed to these small towns to build resources for their families and community like safe injection sites and homeless shelters they straight out refuse to allow it in their community. Its time to send these people back and let their communities fix the problem. Toronto is tired of small towns dumping their problems on the city.

The problem is we have a drama teacher running the country and his fiscal plan is the economy ‘will take care of it self’ that’s his quote not mine and Canadians keep voting him him. Reap your rewards you simpilron canucks. Largest spending country per capital of any country in the world on covid. And the cool aid drinkers of Canada and opposition leaders praised him for it don’t worry about paying anything backs it’s ok we’re learning from our citizens OMG

HEGELIAN DIALECTICAL PROCESS aka Problem reaction solution a.k.a. thesis anti-thesis synthesis also known as the totalitarian tiptoe. Those who are breaking the system intentionally are those who will eventually offer the solution once Canadians cry out and demand change. All manner of the range to social transformation is occurring as well as financial and economic transformation. The average sheep is suffering information overload and has two doubt as their country and humanity itself and western civilization is being completely transformed

This is how the American politician should learn to portray themselves instead of insulting and demeaning citizens at every chance they get. They need to be careful who they choose as president. A vulgar loud mouth or a calm and collected seasoned politician who could make more Allie’s instead of enemies? Who could resolve issues in two ways. By hurting your party by being irresponsibly loud mouth or by solving problems in the diplomatic and dignified manner?

I rarely see comments open on CBC... there must be a reason... hmmmm The fact that the Trudeau government (who owns CBC) is looking for an opinion means that it is FINALLY getting through to them that when immigration outpaces available housing you get a problem... when you do it by margins of millions of people you get a CATASTROPHY! EACH and EVERY new immigrant beyond the limits compounds the problem and if the Trudeau government does not stop it will destroy the Canadian economy if it hasn't already.
