True must go ASAP before it destroys Canada for good. We have the skilled trades here in Canada born Canadians. Need to be happy and promote workforce. We don’t need immigrants from another part of the country. They don’t know our country they’re just here to survive. feel sorry for them, butlet alone they will cause many problems in Canada. We have the manpower here in Canada. The government needs to promote it not bring immigrants here then they have no work.

Why because like Australia, Canada is extremely wealthy with resources. Our enemies know that and they want it. Some involved may even be our faux friends. They have taken over all institutions in the west, especially Canada. They are driving the country into the ground. Once the nation collapses, and we are too busy scrounging for food, or trying to keep our families safe, they will get to work exploiting. That's my theory anyway.

In the 1960s and 70s, my parents and some of their friends left authoritarian Yugoslavia for Canada. Now, some of their children are leaving Canada for the same reason. I'm 6th generation Canadian and 90 years old. I've worked and lived in most regions of Canada, including the 3 Territories. Other than your description of our main urban centres, you don't know squat dude. There are many medium and small-sized cities in all the provinces that offer a heck of a lot more than these huge centres.

Health care is good?? Are you kidding me???? That sounds very insincere!! \nYou probably have never been to an emergency, like NYGH, where instead of the nursing staff, they have there trained jail and security guards to deal with sick people. Instead of “we will not accept any abuse of the staff”, they consistently don’t permit a single question or a word instead! If you make a decision like leaving home after 12 hours waiting, they call security guards and often four of them pin you to a wall!! True case!!! In the past 2 years - I have spent 3 months in Toronto, and last year, 3 months in Montreal...and it is like the Tale of Two Cities! In Toronto, I stayed at a friend's off the park that abuts Queens St, and Dundas St. on the far side. I barely got a good night's sleep - from the constant wailing of Sirens at ALL Hours of the night/early morning! I witnessed several incidents of random violence - including on the trolly cars, and many of them involving homeless Indigenous people ...who were historically shit-on by Canada! In comparison to US Cities - Toronto minded me of problem-plagued SF, Seattle, and Portland. The Density factor reminded me of NYC, minus the Positive Street savvy that New Yorkers have in spades! I did meet some very nice people, but overall - Torontonians were uptight, concerned about money all the time, and sometimes - just downright rude! Fast-Forward to Montreal. I stayed in Le Plateau...renting a room for 3 months. Lovely House-mates - One Turkish/Polish Woman, and an Iranian Man - both were quirky, and Delightful! My rent was very decent, and my Host showed me all the affordable places to eat, swim for free, free Yoga in the parks...within 2 days, I felt at Home! It was 3 days before I even noticed a siren! Drivers stoped for pedestrians, and as it was summer - the bike-lanes were full of bike riders! The Green Spaces were plentiful, and Parc Mount Royal is a Terrestrial Paradise! Were there some social issues? - of Course! French being the official language, the Quebecois are a VERY Proud, and defiant lot! That was difficult at first, and then...learning some history of Quebec, you begin to understand their irascible defenses! There was some homelessness (a Fraction of what I see in the US, and Toronto!), and prices are creeping-up (the common complaint!), and there was a lot of construction, and road repairs - as Quebec is NOT a wealthy part of Canada, overall. In short - I miss Montreal DEEPLY! Toronto? - I have a good friend there, and I hope to see a few of the folks I met there, Again. Travel Impressions are mainly subjective, but I know where my heart, and affection lie!

In 1991, I immigrated to Canada when I was twenty years old. I did not have critical thinking skills. If I know the history of Canada, how they mistreated the First Nations, kidnapped people from Africa, and enslaved them in Canada to exploit their labour. Students who come from certain countries (you know where) come to look for free food and free benefits from Canada. I work at a well known university and see them come for food bank the first day they landed. Even some came to complain that their grants got cut (of course, coz they never finish the thesis) and demanded for financial support as they need to pay for family expenses including car loan!! I know of a situation where a canadian woman was living with a man who after he got his pr call the cops on him saying he rape her. He is now in jail because of her lie and can't wait to leave as this seems to be the norm for women there to use the men then get them in jail by lying to the cops. Move to Washington state and the economy is much better than British Columbia. In Washington state you save 50 percent of your earnings. The American dollar goes far and many many many jobs. There are no job in British Columbia and they are called slave labored jobs working at Walmart or as a Amazon delivery job. I think that immigrants need to understand that until immigrants are 4th gen in Canada, they are not generally fully assimilated...Canada' brings immigrants in for their kids (second gen)...but by third gen...least successful group. Immigrants need to know that our great grandparents suffered a lot for what looks attractive today...and every successful Canadian story has started with roots of immigrants suffering, including my own forefathers. There's a naive perspective that immigrants will just automatically be Canadian with equal opportunities. How can you provide billions for foreign aid but can't provide basic necessities to your own citizens? I AM SO LUCKY I went to university and graduated when I did because the same degree would have cost 15k-20k more...food is super expensive...renting an apartment is seen as a form of luxury....you have to know someone to get basic things done. I applied for canadian immigration in the mid 2000s. I ticked all the qualification. I am qualified and i even have enough money to support myself for more than a year even though i have lots of friends and relatives in canada. AND YET, my application was turned down. I have no idea what happened. Im also supposed to get my processing fee back after i was rejected but i never got them anymore. Then i read canada allowed even unqualified immigrants from other parts of the world just bcoz.... Maybe its a blessing in disguise for me coz many friends i know are coming back home. Some maintained their canadian citizenship but are living back in my country, doing great business

Did these people not do any research? Did they just jump a plane and immigrate to another county without knowing what it's like? If I decided to immigrate to India, you can be sure I would have investigated everything and made a visit or two to check things out first, lined up a job and then make my decision. If they made the wrong decision, it's no one's fault but their own--not Canada's.

In Canada you can make $300,000 in a couple of months. Canada has never been easy, but it was the easiest path for unskilled, lowly educated Indian workers from rural areas to be able to migrate abroad, as they don't have a shot at legal pathways in the US or other EU countries. Of course unskilled workers will have a hard time here, as they would anywhere else. Tamper your expectations and know your capabilities.
