In general: All people are biased, in some form and magnitude. This is something built into our DNA, from millions of years of evolution and experience, of meeting, living and/or engaging whit other people. The human brain, central nervous- and hormonal system have changed very little in the latest 20.000 years. The only thing we can do are learn or at least not act on our biased thoughts. On top of this, we have events in our lives, what we have learned from family, friends and people in our closest environment, political views/trends, our environment in general and personality treats which affects us all. What we can do to minimize this is first admitting to our selves what biases we harbour, and not act to the biases. \nThe thing is, we are all alike, but live, learn and/or act differently. We can treat people as we want to be treated ourselves and treat ourselves with the same principle we treat others.\n\n\nBe nice, treat people with the same respect as you demand.

Okay I will be first to admit as a canadaian.. yes canada has racism issues. No questions. Every country does in their own culture and society. And this is a huge problem. But having said that, I personally have not faced or may be was not treated in a face of racially biased way. We need to have a little bit of compassion for Muslims who are struggling with this. Imagine that you were born into Islam. You didn't ask for it. You just happened to be unlucky enough to be born into a Muslim country and raised under it. It's not their fault that they believe what they believe. \nWe need to help them to free them from the chains of Islam. The way to help them and free them from Islam is by educating them with the truth. It's difficult for them to accept because they have devoted their entire life to it. It's also quite a shock when they see all of the errors in the Quran which is supposed to be the pure word of an all-powerful and all-knowing God. Then they see things like- the sun revolves around the earth and sets in a pool of muddy water. It's like somebody telling you that your dear friend has been lying to you for the last 50 years of your life. You just can't believe it. You don't want to believe. You defend your friend, you love your friend. \n\nSo instead of insulting these poor Muslim people try helping them by suggesting that they read the Koran cover to cover from beginning to end. Then they will see for themselves that this 7th century book conflicts with modern scientific and historical knowledge. That's when they will realize that Muhammad invented the entire thing so that people would obey him and treat him like a god on Earth. That's when they will realize that he was a 7th century man who knew nothing about the scientific knowledge that we have now in this century. That's when they will realize that the Quran is filled with threats of punishment and violence for not believing and not obeying the supposed word of God given to them by Muhammad. Muhammad put harsh punishments in it so that they would submit out of fear. This is why Islam is so violent. \n\nTo our Muslim friends in humanity. I'm so sorry that you were lied to. So sorry that you wasted much of your life devoting it to Islam. I'm so grateful to those of you who have not followed the violence of Islam commanded in the Quran. But now you are free with the truth. Go and live your life in Peace and freedom. Love your fellow humans and help your fellow humans. Try to spread the truth to other Muslims and help them. Follow the example of apostate prophet who is trying to help Muslims with his you tube videos.\n I urge all Muslims to read the entire Quran. Don't let non-muslims like me know more about the Quran than you do. If you don't think that the scientific facts conflict with the Koran, then read the entire Quran and look up the scientific facts. If you really search for the truth you will find it.

That woman is so extra. She is not in danger. And if Muslims feel some type of way about the west it’s because they are alienated by the way they are treated by racists and governments and law enforcement agencies in the west and are upset about the role western governments play in meddling to create instability and oppression in Muslim majority countries. That doesn’t mean we don’t also love and appreciate the lives and opportunities we have in the west. But our freedoms are not the same as white westerners. Also, I firmly believe it’s mostly a government issue. Most people, including white westerners are good people. Minorities treat whites just riiiggght... People typically treat those of their same color better than others due to being more comfortable. Every race does it. Its experience that makes people act the way they do.

I went to canada with my family when i was 6 years old i thought it was so beautiful the native americans treated us with kindness my dad bought me some moccisens there. A chinese immagrant restaurant owner was nice to us the white people many of them wrent very nice this was in 1969 in the summer but i loved the wilderness and wanted to go back and see the indians. I was a dreamer. Unfortenately and through my own fault after i got out of the military honerably discharged . I got a dui again it was my stupidity but i payed my fine did my jail time and got educated about not drinking and driving. It is not a felony i the US but it is in Canada so canada gets ahold of my driving records maybe they hacked in. And said i could not go into canada. I noticed they let george w. Busch in though oh well i dont think canada even pretends fainess under the law . Any way they are now letting elligals into canada and giving them a hotel room . The duplicity is absurd personally i no longer want to go to canada for anything i think the wall should be put on the northern border. Even is Canada nice,discrimination is wide spread. I am from Minnesota. I have never treated people like this. 40 years in retail. Maybe that is why these folks returned to buy from me all the time. Interestingly, all these productions on exploring the victims of racism, profiling and discrimination. The victims are interviewed extensively. Why on earth to we not interview racists, on their own. Explaining their stance, enlighten the world on what informs their stance, and how they justify their right to ill treat others. \n\nI don't many would be able to.

These things shouldn't be tolerated at all. You don't find white people or Latinos or any other race being discriminated against when they go to Africa, The \ncaribbean, Asia, South America!!!!! So why should it be tolerated where white people are a majority?! Moving to Vancouver was a great experience tbh, I'm of nigerian heritage but was born in Finchley, North London...\nCanadians are friendly and extremely welcoming ( Coming from the UK i found this so off-putting ) lol. Ironically its non-white Canadians i had funny experiences with.... from dating to renting its weird\n\n\nAsians under 27 always asking some crazy questions ( Are you an NBA player ) lol it's cute at first but after a while when little koreans walk up to me talking about ( You look like will smith ) it makes you think... To be fair these are not inherent negatives, But asian canadians alone did treat me weird i found, Indian girls i met all wanted to be with me but where also very ashamed to say so or let their family know, but thats a cultural thing so i understood.\n\n\n Of all the demographics White canadian and native men where the most welcoming and open to me, in my experience.. White women of-course where cool too but that does not really count, especially as a good looking black guy with an accent LOOL you know how that goes!! My Tinder and Bumble were obscene LMAO\n\nRenting from asians while black and Male!? is almost impossible!!! Except they think you have rich parents!! Its impossible in Van unless you are an Arab exchange student lol \nArab and Persian students studying english have no issues renting in Vancouver, for some reason!!\n\nI lived out the St. Regis downtown for a month, Looking for places to rent, i had seen so many places online and filled out applications but never got call backs, asides from 2 group showings i went to, i could not even set up a viewing with the apartment building i wanted... \n\nTill i met an african girl in school, and she told me something i found completely crazy.\nShe told me to make a new e-mail addy and to use my English name when i e-mail, then set up a viewing but to show up with a white friend preferably a girl and that if the owner is asian, i should look around, and offer to pay 6months upfront before they get a chance to ask what i did for work or whether i was a student or not LOL. Needless to say, i did what she said and It worked the asian lady asked me to come get the keys later that day. Its just life, as a property owner they really just wanna size you up, not fair and kind of pathetic but its not inherently evil...

I realize that some people are asses....that will never end. But the term racism is thrown around way too much. First of all, it’s tribalism and it’s a normal part of being human. Any thing that is ‘other’ or different will be viewed with suspicion and or dislike. It will never be stopped, it can’t be educated away and it can’t be made to go away by immersing people in multiculturalism. Think back to when you were a child even...seeing someone who was handicapped would make you wary of them. Now, when those normal perceptions cause you to treat someone bad or as a lesser person is when it becomes a problem. That CAN be educated away. But to attempt to make people feel bad because of there responses to the faces on the computer is ridiculous. EVERYONE, regardless of race, will have tendencies towards tribalistic thinking.

Why don’t people just have common basic manners and treat everyone politely and respectfully? Didn’t their mothers teach them anything? You don’t have to like or agree with everyone but everyone deserves basic respect and courtesy. The Golden Rule is called that for a reason.

That computer test proves nothing...people relate to people who are most similar to them. Period. \n\nLets pull the data on how many black people discriminate against black people. For example, do black landlords who own and rent expensive apartments treat every applicant the same? Will they accept more whites or more blacks? Will they show preference to people with higher incomes? What about single moms? The disabled? Obviously business people are going to make decisions which they believe will produce the best outcome. \n\nOur behavior is based largely on past experience and knowledge. If I get burned 80% of the time I touch the stove, then I will learn to be cautious 100% of the time I go to touch it. But Im NOT going to be cautious when I touch the refrigerator or washing machine. \n\nI will add that it is 100% unacceptable to mistreat others based on outward appearances. Every person, no matter their race, dress, age, etc., deserves dignity and a certain amount of respect.

NOT let my son get my medicine and it's hard for me to walk around and I called him up and ask why \nand then I did get my medicine and I never did have no more trouble out them after my doctor ball to out they against my son but people listen at this we're not African American where are we we are not I seen the kind of thing two we was up to the courthouse and these police officers was looking at me and laughing I'm an overweight woman and overweight people gets treated bad we get laughed at we get made fun of and every way I got jerked around at the courthouse in Anderson they really treated me horribly and I think it was because I was overweight and they was very rude and nasty to every customer to come in and I don't know why to me it always pointed out and all I'll be pointed out so it's not only African Americans but it's people like myself that has a weight problem I I am A obesity white woman
