Watching from NC, US. Looking forward to leaving. Canada is a strong contender for me/wife & my young boys. Wait times to see any specialist here in the US can take weeks to months. So, not that awesome. And without insurance, you're absolutely screwed.

Red flags/negatives of starting a small business. Taxes, govt procedures, ease of doing business, etc.\n4. Is funding for a good app based business idea available easily? \n5. I think it depends on what you really want from a country. If you exclude costs of living, Canada today looks like a nice place for retirement where people just want to live life quietly and do simple happy things in life. This makes it not as focus on development in my opinion. The cost of everything is going up because if I was a rich person, I would go to Canada too to live life. Not as stressful and the nature there is just amazing. BC weather is really nice.

The Canadian government has screwed this country for decades!! And the massive flood of immigrants is screwing millions of Canadians. And the extreme lack of housing to buy or rent is a absolute joke!!!! \nFamilies that have lived in the same house and neighborhood for 30-40-50 years are having to sell their houses and move to a different city or even to a different province! All the points in the video are very precise and well explained, apart from this Canada is not spending upon the infrastructure which is very important for the growth of any country , Look at Canadian highways in comparison to USA , Railways ,There are no Special economic zones for business ,Educated engineers and doctors coming to Canada are either driving trucks or working on such jobs which are not at apt with their qualification. What I feel rathe then spending billions on dollars on welfares and for the charity , they should have a long term plan for the growth of country in manufacturing sector. Other wise things will get worse in near future for them.

Canada's government is a bunch of rich people who's only concern is to make themselves richer. Then lie about what they did so they can get voted back in so they can steal more from taxpayers. Then the next government is forced to cut everything from education, to medicine, look like huge Aholes, so then we vote the idiots back in again that keep stealing from us. Not allot of time for improvement with all that going on.

In Canada everyone is greedy. Just go and rent commercial land for business then you will know how expensive is the rent. I am not talking about ghosts cities where only old people are living. To open a business you need thriving population which is in big cities. Just look in the morning after 5 a.m. all the major highways are full of vehicles going towards Toronto. Because all the big businesses are there as well as their head office.

Canada competes on the same education level/worker skill level as America. America has lower taxes, more financing, and a broader worker base. Unless Canada can compete with cheaper energy to make up for it's lack in those other areas, Canada fails.\n\nWhen Trump renegotiated NAFTA there is now less incentive for companies to locate in Canada when they can build in Mexico or America.\n\nCanada should be focusing on primary resource extraction and secondary resource refining. Canada could enhance this by building out hydro for cheap electricity that meets green industry standards. Canada has been failing at this.\nRecently Germany and Japan came to Canada looking for energy deals. This would require East/West pipelines. America shot this down, they straight told Germany and Japan to stay out of their Canadian Colony. And Canada, Germany, and Japan agreed.

How are they all militant without any weapons in hand trying to cross the boarder ?Funny enough the people who stormed the capital in January weren’t Militant and they were ready to lynch people and carried all types of weapons. These people are desperately looking for better lives . I will say I have been lucky in Calgary (moved to Alberta in 2011; became perm res in 2018) with my healthcare. I have a great liver specialist and family doctor as well as a backup. I just fell and cut the back of my head Monday (2 staples but nicely done; I do not feel any pain). I know that is not common for people. I think some of it is timing based on the comments. It will only get better if we quit USing it (i.e. politicizing it). As an ex-pat watching that dumpster fire, moving to Canada in 2010 (first year in YVR) was the right step for me (however, that said, being that I am plain white looking male, I know that made it so easy at least until I applied for Perm Res. Then, being a white american worked against me). Luckily, I had been involved with a Canadian citizen several years whom sponsored me for Perm Res. I really enjoy seeing your POV in your videos. It looks like the illegal immigrants crossing from the US to Canada are just walking down Roxam Road. Why then are the Mexicans trying to cross from Canada into the US walking through much harsher terrain to get into the US? Why don’t they just walk down Roxam Road in the opposite direction?

Canada actually has a stricter policy on refugees than the US. Although detention of asylum seekers is provided for under Canadian law, the criteria for its use appear to be tighter than in the US. In 2017(one year after Trump's administration), Canada had 6251 immigration detainees 2017 compared with 323,591 held by the United States that same year. And the US has insanely more cases of refugees than Canada. Canada's immigration policy has a preference for economic benefits, and the approval criteria for refugee claims are stricter too. Take a look at the Express Entry Programme. Most of the applicants have to get a master's degree to be granted a PR in Canada, but the US is more favourable on Family reunions or Refugees. Although Canada has its own problems, such as housing issues and a healthcare system that might worsen by increasing immigrants, in general, I think the US should learn something more on Canada's immigration policy which is on a talent basis.

I get it they are scared but for Canada we have enough issues helping feed people it’s time to look after Canadians first stop being so soft

I think you are judging Canada using relatively small scope of criteria. Is some of what you say true? Probably. But there is so much more to Canada. Personally, I think there is so much beauty here, but I sure the hell don't expect to find it in Vancouver, or any other major city. It comes down to how you look at something. If you think it's ugly, then you're going to find a lot to support that opinion. The opposite is also true. There are 2 sides to that coin and they can't be wrong, because they are subjective.

We're polite and nice until we're taken advantage of or treated like an idiot! Kindness is important, but doing what's morally right is more important to me personally! So if that means me speaking up or calling out bs when I see it, I will! I do believe in giving each person their own clean slate. I adjust according to the person! That just means I don't assume anything about a person based on race, the job they have, the car they drive, how they look, the clothes they wear. Those things have no bearing on how I choose friends! It's all about the content of one's character! I do keep to myself most of the time but strive to be kind and polite when I'm around others! But everyone is different. You will run into aholes anywhere you go! Canada is NO EXCEPTION. You have to be careful still about how you move. For example as an indigenous woman I don't go out alone after dark. You can't just trust anyone and leave yourself vulnerable because you never known what someone's intentions are. You can find people that are so unkind. You can also find some of the nicest people in the world here. I imagine the same can be said about any country. Our government certainly doesn't represent us personally. We all have our own personalities and lives! And I don't judge others based on their race religion or their government at home! When I was a kid there was no shortage of people letting me know I'd never amount to anything. So yeah you can find aholes anywhere you go! Please don't leave yourself vulnerable and assume everyone here has good intentions! Especially if you travel alone! We still have a lot of issues you probably never heard of! You have to be careful anywhere you go! ❤

I myself went to Canada legally through Person International Airport holding Canadian visa but it took several years for the Immigration Canada to look at my application while people my other country mates were entering Canada illegally, but their case approved and were granted status. I was very disappointed the reason at that time the Canadian Immigration minister was a Somalian and migrant who was against migration.

My question is why are still living in Canada, stop building stories that dont bring food just looking for views.

It's about time we don't have the money, we have a health care shortage. We can't keep letting able body Citizens whether born here or not live off Welfare going back generations. No one's screening the people who have already crossed over then once they get Citizenship they can bring all there relatives here is ridiculous enough is enough. These extremist ideas are taught right here in Canada in the mosques.
