It is the political correctness that has really damaged Canada. It used to be a country of people that were liberal and tolerant in the sense of allowing people to live their own lives according to their own believes. As a citizen or Toronto who moved here 30+ yrs ago. The country has changed and is slowly going broke. Their main source of income is to milk the citizens. Assalamu alaikum. I'm a proud Muslim from Bangladesh who watched this vlog for the first time. Though I never lived or visited Canada I know all the points you mentioned here. All the difficulties in Western countries as a practicing Muslim. My wife wants to move to Canada & she always keeps pressuring me to take steps to move on to Canada but I am not that much interested for the same reasons you mentioned here. My sister lives in Saskatoon & she wants to help me with the relative points to move to Canada. I always try to make them understand my views. But they don't understand. They thinks Canada is the best!

Having lived in Canada, I can understand many of your arguments. A question to the wife: would you give up your right to sit equal to your husband and express your personal views when leaving Canada? Because you will surely have no equal rights in countries that practice strict Islamic law.

Idk how everyone seems to be confused why we have so much homelessness. Israels national investment firm called black rock has been buying up American housing for years. They were very outspoken about their plans to buy everything, and hold onto it indefinitely while renting it out for very high rates. Every politician has bought 50 or more homes to do this with as well. Tucker carlson has a load of them, as well as every other tv personality. People from other countries stay 10 people per home, and collectively can afford much higher rates than americans living 1 family to a home, again driving rates ever higher. Government is soley responsible for the dollar becoming worthless so quickly. Wages will never keep up. The government makes more money by cramming as many people as possible into the country, directly at the expense of quality of life for the citizens. Nobody is protecting the interests of American citizens. We are all getting robbed blind by predators while we all appear to be blind deaf and dumb. Nothing happening is an accident. Every loser creates a winner somewhere.

I have lived in many different countries as a Muslim. I have found the perfect balance of Islam, freedom in my day to day life to do things, finding halal, masjids 10-15mins within where I live with programs for my kids and social/educational events. I homeschool my kids and the laws for it are very easy. I absolutely abhor the government though and your no. 1 reason would be mine to leave. However as I explore other options I don’t see options for Muslim country that is easy to naturalize into. \n\nI have joined groups to make future changes through congress and government and trying to learn how I can help with these efforts. I try to imagine what would happen if all the Muslims left these colonizing countries. Boy do they need us yet make us feel like we are powerless. I try to imagine well what if we unified more and kept working for change? While being able to live and practice e Islam how we want. Anyways. Just mumbling some of my own thoughts. I came to Canada in Jan 2022 on permanent residence from India and returned back to India in November 2023. My reason to move to Canada was, I moved back to India for personal reasons after living in USA for 10 years (studies + work). I moved to Canada because I missed US, and thought it was difficult to adjust in India, and US would never give me green card anyway (due to country of birth quota). I moved to Canada with a job in hand, but opportunties are limited here. On top salaries are low, even compared to India. Healthcare is a disaster. In US, I could see a doctor next day. I had 4 surgeries done in US, multiple CT scans and countless X-rays. Never had an issue. In Canada, despite paying high taxes I fear of not able to get medical treatment and wait for months to see specialist. \nSlowly I realized, this country is not USA anyway and was naive of me to think of it as a viable replacement. I ended up returning back to India, as in end I realized India has issues, Canada has different ones but in India at least I can earn well (70 to 80K CAD while 2 BHK costs me like 500 CAD per month, 300,000 CAD for luxurious 3.5 BHK) and I can be close to my parents, the reason for which I left US. I will always miss US though. As long as I have family in India, I will never think of settling anywhere else. But the only country I would ever consider in future is USA.

My parents immigrated to Canada from Romania when I was nine and I have lived there for 20 years. I can’t remember ever really liking it, but I was made to believe that I was so lucky to be living there but always felt like it wasn’t the place for me. I just couldn’t find any other country where I actually felt good until a Moroccan friend convinced me to visit his country and I fell in love! I think from the moment I started planning my trip there I had already fallen in love with the country! For four years I kept going back until I finally had the courage to settle there! It’s been almost 7 years and I still love it as much as in the beginning (with all its pros and cons, because obviously there are also plenty of cons like in every other country, but the beauty and the people’s kindness and warmth far outweigh any of them:)

What do these thousands of people think they are going to do in our country? Live under a bridge? They are better off where they were from.

I see eye to eye with you on 3 points, but for the other two, you are entitled to your own views and perspectives. I would like to move to a warmer country, with good Healthcare facilities and a descent place to live. Where? I am a non-Muslim and do see that things are not what they were before. Too much inflation, crime and no morals or ethics.

It's obvious that you have never lived outside of Canada. Canada is probably one of the last countries in the world that accepts people for who they are and has a decent level of respect for belief systems. I get that you want to raise your children in a better environment, but trust me when I tell you this... you are walking into a world of disappointment. Canada itself is about 15 years behind other countries when it comes to this downwards spiral you are speaking of. Sadly, you will find out soon enough that this utopia you want to find, simply doesn't exist and you will discover you have left the variable comforts and safety of Canada behind. I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but am simply sharing what I discovered when I searched for the same things. I think L. Frank Baum said it best.... if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own back yard. If you are lucky in life you will discover that the world doesn't stop turning for you, and that the world that you dream of for your children must be created from within. That being said, it is good to travel and trying different ways of living is a wonderful education for your children. Many of your numbers are wrong sweetie. Here are the facts;\n2 years ago, you would go to IGA (where food is fresh but it is pricey), you would get out with 2 bags of groceries for about 120$. Today, it is 180$ for the same 2 bags. this is NOT a 10% increase... but almost the double in price!\n\nRent, in Quebec province, have gone from around 1,000$ to 2,400$ in less than 5 years, and each time a tennant leave his place, the landlord rise (against the law but nobody can do anything) the rent often by 25 to 40%!!! The Demand is so high, that he can refuse you for any reason (including racism, children, pet, smokers) he can think of. Again, this is against the common law but in truth, there is nothing anybody can do, unless you can bring him to court, which takes lots of money...\n\nSo in reality, from the last 5 years, almost everything has double in price and salaries have barely start to rise (mostly due to unions who revolted) but if you are not part of one, your salary basically stayed the same.\n\nA very good advice, don't come to Canada. Cost of living is insane in Europe in uk in Australia too I hate cold weather rains and winter wind , your point is Canada is not a Muslim friendly country, Canada is a democratic and Christian country it’s not a islamic country . I came to study in Germany 20 years ago, went straight to paycheck and living cost has skyrocketed. I am planning to go to my Muslim country and live without felling to justify anything to anyone. Alhamdulillah

I’m thinking of leaving the UK for good because of the influx of Muslim men coming to live here. It now feels like a third world country because they’ve brought their archaic religious beliefs with them which belong in the dustbin of history.

Nah… they have never wanted them. Thats why the Palestinians have been there in the first place. Way to make it everyone else’s problem… Literally no one wants the Palestinians because they are demanding and not easy to deal with. The Arab countries refused them entry many times in the past as well, including when Israel took hold of the area legally. If the Palestinians stay, they have to learn how to be okay living in a Jewish state, and they have so far proven they cannot figure out how to do that. They certainly should leave if that is the case to make their lives easier, but answers like this just keep pushing the problem back on the Jews. Then you have to be okay with the only options the Jews are left with to ensure their own people are safe.

Coming from a person who lives in Australia Canada is our sister country and that is the country that I’m looking to settle down for the rest of my life, in that exact city

if one wants to be in an islamic religious country and hear bells ringing for call to prayer daily, yes its not going to match your lifestyle living in western countries of course. however there is no excuse for people to be scared to practice their religion freely. what is happening in Gaza i wish it wasn't happening at all no matter what political spectrum or thought one follows, i don't believe there should ever be wars and i wish the fighting on the ground would stop, wishful thinking and idealistic thinking i know.

high cost of living it makes sense to leave Canada all together . You are taxed to death in Canada every thing cost more Canada is a great place if you all ready have lots of money . But if you don’t it’s hard. I find it so weird when they ask for Canadian experience when you just came to Canada I blame the employer they make it difficult for people to get hired and in return people leave to find a job in a different country I did the same thing came to Canada to look for work working in IT and I didn’t get IT job because I did t have any Canadian experience. After two years of working at a job that was not even what I studied I left Canada and found a job that I studied for I got a good job in America Long island New York and never looked back……. I get paid double then I would have if I had gotten a job in Canada any way ….. forget Canadian experience it’s not worth moving to Canada the country has changed. You pay more for everything in the states you get things for a lot less . Car insurance in Canada is so expensive……… do t get me started on the winter ?

Great move brother. I have been living in Canada for more than 20 years and I’m in the process of planning to wrap up everything and move. We are a big family alhamdullillah. Have been looking in to many countries but now been few days looking in to Malaysia. March break inshallah planning to go visit and see how it goes.
