This is pretty hard to describe as multiculturalism. I have no issue with Indian Canadians whatsoever. A lot of really good hard working poeple come here from there, and I respect their culture. My concern is how we maintain Canadian amid this type of immigration 15:21 seems like there is no real attempt to integrate new Canadians to our system and beliefs. We don't want to end up like Europe where foreign cultures have imposed themselves on the population. We shouldn't have to adapt or adjust to other cultures they came here to share and improve our way of life. Canada has a dignified history worthy of preservation despite our mistakes in the past. Our grandparents didn't lay their lives down for to capitulate in becoming a post national state.\nOur leaders are bringing shame to the sacrifice of previous generations.

I would be more worried about the Influx of Muslims coming into Canada. Indians are not trying to force their religious laws in Canada nor are they using their Political Influence in our Political system to push Islamist Agendas, while at the same time infiltrating our political parties so as to give political credibility to terrorist organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood.

There isn't anything wrong with those who immigrate to Canada and adapt to Canadian Customs and Traditions, But when they start complaining about our Customs and Traditions, and want us to change them, then I have a BIG problem with it !!!! Dual Citizenship needs to be outlawed !! You want to be a Canadian, then be 100% Canadian !! If that is too much to ask of someone, then Don't come here, stay home !! Don't come here and take a job away from a Canadian, while keeping your other Citizenship so you can go back when you feel that you're ready too, that's Total BS and Unacceptable !! Become a Canadian and Die here of old age !! If you have dual Citizenship, you migrated here not immigrated !! Canada, Love it, accept the Customs and Traditions, or Go and stay Home !!!! I am an American citizen of Indian descent. But I always loved and appreciated Canada. I love hockey since I was 7, huge NHL fan, lover of Tim Hortons and Canadian poutine. But I don't want anything non-Canadian to replace Canada! The Canadians need more aggression when it comes to defending the red-white bars and maple leaf!

They literally have zero respect for Canada or Canadians, all they come to do is exploit the system as best they can, pinch every penny they can from their employees, ignore every labour law we have, and ruin our economy... Trust me Canada is the land of scams not milk and honey where you come here earn pennies and pay in thousands then go in debt and depression and that’s if you find a decent job. No matter where you work and what you do, you are not going to be able to afford life here. Rent is extremely high and it’s everywhere around the nation not in a particular spot or city. Buying a house became a dream. People are living on top of eachother like pickles in houses or apartments due to high housing prices. And what make it worse are the wages. It is pathetic that the average income here is roughly 3,000 dollars where most of money is going to rent. The only people that are living high quality life here are people who are living on child benefits plus welfare and cash money. My recommendation is move out of the country ASAP before it is too late. It’s a trap..

Is there a smart they won’t come to Canada because even right now Canadians are on the street. It’s just not a good time. Canadians are good people it’s not their fault. It’s not the screw goes right back to Trudeau. All the cared about was making money and that is it charging immigrants so much you know what I mean and getting money from the government but it’s not going I believe to the migrants it’s not even going to the Canadian citizens. There was a young girl in her 20s, that’s a kid and because she had depression and why did she have depression? She was homeless and she had diabetes. She had no money to buy the diabetes medication so she killed her self with the assistant help of Canada. They were murdering people and then inviting immigrants in, how does that make sense?. And then no one‘s offering the immigrants jobs because there is no jobs but that’s not again the Canadians fault they can’t afford to put food on their own table. Canadians are hard-working and I know lotta immigrants are hard-working in regards to the students don’t come here maybe the United States will be best for you they offer lotta countries. Oh my God warm nice beautiful countries, I’m not country is sorry states you’ll probably be best for you to transfer over to somewhere there cause it’s just so many beautiful, warmer climate, and if people are used to coming from a warmer climate, it would just make more sense to me just an idea. I’m half of Canadians. I’m embarrassed of what is happening to the Canadian people under Trudeau and I’m embarrassed of what’s happening to the immigrants under Trudeau. Mr. Trudo needs a nonconfidence vote and sodas, the NDP, the broken laws both of them so both of them need to go make some very clear that a certain laws are broke doesn’t matter if he joins with an NDP throat people need to know the rights of Canada please Canadians look them up look up your rights, read them if you don’t understand them maybe it’s time we start having private groups and not on Facebook because Facebook rats. This is not an isolated incident. Brown guys in delivery jobs, especially students from South Asia, face this kind of humiliation in everyday life. Some of these rich white privileged people often forget that while they are paying for the service, they do not own the delivery people. Regardless of numerous such incidents, every year, many Indians are coming to the US or Canada - many legally and some illegally. If Canada removes the visa requirement, tomorrow more than half of Punjab will be empty - this is the reality and still many Indians don't mind the humiliation. Living a life in a Western country, and owning expensive phones and cars that's what most of them want. I'm not talking about the genuine students who enroll themselves in universities, get decent jobs after graduation, and live a dignified life.

Not to mention Trudy has invited knowingly organized crime syndicates into Canada; I hope he suffers consequences of his actions, and it should come out of his pocket and those serving him to clean up Canada's crime wave in the future.

Canada needs a strong and forward looking government, and streamlined legislations. Sorry for the affordability issue but Canada is the second largest country by land size. Singapore Airlines is an absolute treat to fly on. I gather in a microcosm, it is interesting to compare Air Canada and Singapore airline or all Nippon airways, with Air Canada. Air Canada is very expensive for a one or two hour flight, not so in Southeast Asia. Air Canada service is horrible, intimidating, and nasty. Singapore airlines and all Nippon airways, is exactly the opposite. Air Canada makes it very difficult for you too make claims on cancelled flights, broken luggage, and breaches of contract. Singapore airlines and other airlines in Southeast Asia go out of their way to advert a claim. The taxes on a ticket with Canada is horrendous, both indirect and direct taxes, in Singapore and all Nippon airways, much more reasonable. I think when you compare to airlines or multiple airlines against Air Canada, Air Canada is a microcosm of economics, workplace normality, and courteousness. Canadians will always say “I am sorry. “but let me assure you for somebody that is both, culturally Asian and Canadian, they don’t mean it a bit. The culture is more passive aggressive than anything else. Canadians are distant, and have a very, very remote education on their own country. I also have to give credit to the Singaporean pilots. There is usually the captain, first officer, and a second officer or two upfront. Excellent training for the up-and-coming first officers and captains. In Canada, of course we don’t do this. I feel at the safety upfront, especially in an IFR environment, is being sacrificed in Canada and North America. cost is everything, will safety seems like it has taken a backseat. Second officers should be mandatory on all Air Canada flights. This is not the case anymore. Also, on a visual approach to hit the button, I would definitely give the Singapore captain the edge. The hands and feet of an air. Canada pilot has deteriorated beyond belief where, if they don’t have their flight management system and auto pilot going in full tilt, they start sweating and second-guessing themselves. I’ve witnessed this many times.

This country is a joke. As a Canadian living abroad. Other countries take care of their own long before a foreigner. Canada needs to have more pride with the people who built this country which is Canadians who have paid their dues and their parents. I live in Ontario Canada in an area a lot of these immigrants have come to because of the colleges and our ERs are so overwhelmed I was brought by Ambulance after a car accident, I never got a bed, was treated in a waiting area, it was 4hrs before a dr saw me, 5hrs before I got any pain medication and almost 8hrs before I got cleared to go home with a broken piece of spine. There were more people there who were obvious immigrants than Canadian born people and all of us are suffering.

These people multiply like rabbits in heat, the Lieberals assume that is how they will e land their electoral base moving forward. One Indian woman in heat can start having kids at 16 and older, unlike our native population of millennials, who would rather have pets rather than children. And of course the Lieberals assume all these brown people will overwhelmingly vote for them moving forward. In the USA, it’s brown people coming in too, but these are Hispanic browns, and they are mostly coming in illegally. He's cut back foreign students and foreign temp workers. But will new housing come to fruition in time to house the current year's newcomers? If any housing delays or shortages, bringing in to Canada another new group of 500K immigrants plus students/temp workers will further strain the temporary housing, infrastructure. The problem will accumulate. So if we thought it was bad after year #1, it could get worse. The two (available finished housing, newcomers) must be in balance. Housing costs will NOT stabilize UNTIL the necessary new supply comes into being.

Hey Brian illegals are coming into Canada daily at a little border crossing called Pt. Roberts. They are brought by boat, from the US side, to the USA side of Pt. Roberts, then driven to border and walk up to Canada customs, I've seen groups of up tp 5 people walk up. Imagine what is happening at our other border crossings.

There are enough people around the world who would like to come to Canada that in a relatively short time, native-born Canadians who may have lived in a community their entire life can be quickly overrun when we have numbers like these entering the country. The numbers of people coming from the same country meet up with others from their homeland & find it easier to remain within that clique than to actually shed some of their old lives & Canadianise. Those who do Canadianise are disparaged as selling out by their ethno-cultural community. So we just end up with a multi-tiered society of different people quietly avoiding each other & living in constant distrust. I moved to Canada as a child with my parents 41 years ago. It isn't just inflation and cost of living that is the problem. It's the dramatically increasing racism and discrimination, even against people who have been living in this country longer than the racists discriminating against them. Seriously? This is not the Canada that I came to as a child, grew up in, or have lived and worked in for many decades. I made the mistake of working around the world for a short time and picking up an accent that wasn't even mine originally. I had a Canadian accent before finishing elementary school. To come back to be asked to go home or 'we don't want your sort here' is not just simple racism, but hatred that makes me regret ever having agreed to taking on Canadian citizenship. My kids and grandchildren have Canadian accents and were Canadians from birth. But should they leave and return to the same crap??? What disgusts me more is that the PM dares to include immigrants with refugees, under the banner that 30% of the population are immigrants. Under the law, refugees are temporary migrants and usually nothing more. Refugees take preference over immigrants and citizens alike. The lie about the homeless is getting bigger. Most homeless Canadians today are veterans, elderly, disabled, mentally ill, poor, and professionals and trades people, yet Canada brings in countless professionals, claiming that their education and experience will get them into the professions that they are coming from. It's all a scam! Canadian education is not the best and yet people with better educations and job experience are being forced to spend all their money to go back to university or college to get jobs that they rarely will be hired for. Canada is not short of doctors, just short of professionals who hire professionals without using discrimination, hatred and racism for their HR kit! Many taxi drivers are doctors, engineers, and so on. So, please stop lying to the world and tell the truth. It's a lot harder for full born Canadians and 30+ Canadian citizens alone to survive given the insane cost of living. And yet, Canada can't even afford to welcome immigrants and refugees, but still open the doors. I got nothing against them coming here. There is a habit or a custom or an unspoken and unarticulated practice in Canada to leave everyone alone. I think that the underlying idea is to show respect to others by giving others space. I think that it might be perceived by newcomers who come from other cultures as being rejected or not liked. Most Canadians keep to themselves and mind their own business and this means that it is difficult to make friends. It is not just newcomers to Canada that have a hard time making Canadian friends. Canadians who were born in Canada also have a hard time meeting new people and making new friends.

If you are a skilled and talented immigrant, do not come to Canada! Your foreign credentials will be severely downgraded and you will be stuck working a menial job. As well, there is a shortage of housing, long waits for health care and everything is very, very expensive from food to fuel and many other things. Its probably the easiest (Western) country to immigrate to but not worth it in the end.
