Change overnight??? Like how Canada is being changed into India basically overnight???

If their intentions were to migrate here it should have been done at first coming to Canada. They came on a Student Permit.. now time to go home. \nPretty straight forward.

Canada is a life hack for migrants. the government hasn't built enough housing or infrastructure for the 2 million people they let in in the past few years. any more than 250,000 new people a year is too much for our system to handle. the international students are a scam for mass immigration to grow Canada's tax base as fast as possible, to keep wages low for big corporations, collect tax revenue from people who don't know what Canada was like ten years ago.

Of course the students will allowed to stay in Canada....the politicians in this country are weak...since when should a student from another country demand to stay here just because they studied here....I don't believe there were any promises made when they came here that they would automatically be made Canadian citizens.

I loved Canada and I wanted to integrated the culture here at the time I became a citizen. I became a nurse and worked hard till covid mandate rolled out. This country had been shifted to dark world. Hey most of the international students who come into the country join 2nd tier colleges and pay exorbitant amount of college tuition. (They can get better education in India than what they get in Canada for what they are paying and they joint shit colleges which no domestic applicant in their right mind would join), the only reason they pay that is so they can settle here and the government of Canada always made immigration policies that made it easy for international students to get a permanent residency so they can boost these shitty 2nd tier colleges who are not worthy. In my humble opinion to make it fair, I support tightening immigration laws that don’t encourage poor quality immigrants any further, but impose the law in such way it doesn’t encourage future immigrants by not impacting people who are already in the system and came due to this immigration hopes promoted by the government. (Indirectly through policies). You won’t find Indians doing menial Tim Hortons jobs in the USA, coz USA only gets and gives PR to Indian immigrants who add value to their country. I agree with you It’s not right for these students to stay, for that please also shut down your 2nd tier colleges where the domestic applicants are less than 70%. If they have no skills are attaining Canadian education should those colleges even exist ?

Nobody pays 4-times the tuition of a domestic student just for a degree from Blablabla college. Of course almost everyone comes for PR, because Express Entry was a stable immigration system, but now the system allows fraudulent LMIA holders to go through, and the actual skilled workers are paying the price because NOBODY can score such high score in Express Entry (current draws). The current draw cut-off scores are unrealistic.\n\nThe government allowed 90k unskilled workers to get PR through the TR to PR program (was a mistake), but now have made it difficult for the actual Federal High Skilled applicants. Canadian immigration is now so messed up, it favors the junks of the world and ignores the real skilled people. I myself have a Master's degree in Canada from a top University, have Canadian work experience, have foreign work experience, scores highest possible in IELTS, still I cannot score 529 for express entry. Conversely, a mediocre asylum seeker or fraud LMIA holder easily gets PR. Express Entry is no longer a stable system for skilled workers, it's now a lottery.\n\nBefore blaming international students for everything, you need to understand the real problem. Whether everyone is entitled to PR, NO! But, the skilled workers with excellent CRS scores (490+) should be able to stay to benefit Canada & get a good career for themselves as well. Otherwise, Canada itself will suffer from skill shortages just in a few years.

I left Dubai a few years ago and decided to migrate to Canada and here's why - \n1. Arab Muslims are openky intolerant of other religions\n2. As kids we were constantly subjected to abuse from Arab kids for being non- Muslim and i did not want that for my child\n3. Open racism and preference for GCC nationals after the emaratis\n4. Count wide shut down of restaraunts during fasting hours if Ramadan. All non Muslims barred from eating or driking WATER in public areas\n5. Holidays for only islamic festivals\n\nThis is a common theme among all Muslim dominant countries. Examples are Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait, Pakistan, and so on and so forth. You should definitively move out and make space for people who are secular and Christian in Canada.

I've lived in Canada, Metro Vancouver area, back in 2017...it was already a bloodbath, now I see it's even worse. \n \nI ran away and returned to Italy after 8 months, after I discovered I had to skip meals in order to survive, something I've never experienced here in my country as a former low income citizen. It's messed up. Even if you stopped all immigration from India today, they could still bring in 300k a year with marriages. Canada has turned into india and they have zero interest in adapting. It's a huge mess and a big danger to the social cohesion. No one wants to live in India period.

I am 4th generation Canadian. My Daughter is 5th. I won't be leaving because I am fully Canadian. Immigrants are mostly cherry picking the country they go to these days of mass immigration. If they choose to leave it's hard but they are looking to cherry pick the country. It's not my problem. The government was not being responsible . Best of luck on their next choice for advantage. We Canadians have big problems with our government right now. Mass immigration is hurting Canada in the short term and in the long term it will hurt our cultural cohesiveness. We shouldn't be importing the world's conflicts to our streets. That helps no one.

I lived in Canada for 8 years with my family and really hated it because of all the racism. My kids and wife were often called racist names and I faced so much job discrimination!! After living in 8 countries and 4 continents, I found Canada to be the most racist country of all.
