The Muslim woman that says she worries about what can happen to her by other Muslims are the ones that don't hide the truth and don't defend Islam.

Yet the same is NOT respected for American laws - muslims do NOT respect our traditions or they would take off the bed sheets & table cloths while they are in our countries (as we wear them for you in yours). It's only fair. If you don't like it then go back to your country and bring your creepy traditions with you. Women walking around in America with bed sheets look CREEPY and oppressed, whether you say you want to wear your table cloth or not, you still look OUT OF PLACE and MAKE yourself a minority. You segregate YOURSELVES. America is NOT interested in becoming a muslim country at ALL!!!! Follow our laws & traditions or GET OUT or don't expect us to follow your laws & traditions when we go to your countries!!

I am muslim and I completely understand why would canadians hate muslims being part of their land. well it's their land not ours (muslims) .. so I actually think that muslims have no right to impose themselves unless they are canadians and not immigrants. well any case I'm neither this not that. if your coming to our free countries know we have laws...that ALL must follow ..not say a religion protects you from our laws ...want your religion to rule you over laws of free people...go to a country that will accommodate your religion....I will not accept your religion or imaginary laws that don't apply here in our free countries

it's not the religion.... it's the mac's convenience and the corner stores selling tropicana juice for 6 bucks a liter. It's the family oriented hiring policies and the rural area stores being bought and not offering fishing bait, ice or firewood but instead offering dollar store fishing lures for 20 bucks. it's the electronic stores that sell tape decks and old CD players. The stuff that really makes a bad impression is when a muslim family buys a Pizza Pizza or a subway and then changes the restaurant so that there is no where to be seated and the food is processed by someone who won't look me in the eye once and speaks a language that I can't understand to an employer about my sandwich and i will never know what the problem was. I feel like my spanish and native friends treat me the same as them. I feel like the scottish guy who hates me for not waking up at 5 in the morning is only mad because i'm not working as hard as him. I'm saying that maybe a lot of muslims don't want to be our friends and maybe some do... but it seems like they don't want to be my friend but will message a pretty white girl on every single facebook post with paragraphs of physical praise. i probably get a lot of facts wrong... but that world may be too far away for us to acclimate into each others societies. I'd like it though if we could all live in such a manner where we could feel like we aren't all gunning for a chunk of the world.

ok so muslims say they should be able to wear what they want so their women cover up. but then when you ask them about western women they say they should cover up and SHOULD NOT be able to dress the way they do. liberals who think they are being so free and open minded need to open their eyes to the religion they are trying to defend. muslims routinely abuse the freedoms that are afforded to them while living in a democratic society that hypocrisy becomes second nature to them. the women that was interviewed says we get dressed up put on fancy clothes and make up with other women, even though to do that is haram in islam and is only meant to attract men. ignorance and regression will lead to the downfall of every western country. it is simply a fact and somehow it always comes off as fear mongering when it is said, no religion should ever have a right over any society. if there was a religion where it was ok to behead people who dont believe in that religion would it be ok for people to believe it, oh wait ISLAM.

The weird thing is, look at nuns, the Amish, Mennonites, Pilgrims, Fiddler on the Roof, paintings throughout history of women. Christian and Jewish women have traditionally covered their head and many still do. The Bible says that a woman should cover her head. I see a reaction of fear and anger when I wear a simple scarf in public now, and I am a Christian. I am going back to hats. I do not want to be associated with Muslim totalitarian laws.

Muslim lady speaks outside of her house and discusses issues we have with the religion, because of this she fears for her safety from her own community. It shows the deep problems we have with the western values and the Muslim community, yet here we have people tip toeing around the issue saying we have no problem, its religion and beliefs and peace and love and we should just accept all Muslim communities even tho this lady is telling you the problems right in front of your faces. There is so many videos you can find showing that Muslim community neighbourhoods do not want non-Muslim's in there community and they want Sharia law and they are not tolerant to outsiders and anyone that thinks different to them, even those from within there own community. 2 good examples are the town Dearborn, Michigan and Luton Town, UK of just how lack of tolerance for non-Muslim people in Muslim majority communities they have.

It's always a one sided point of view.They can say anything they want and we're supposed to believe them.They're so afraid to say anything good about Canada because they'll  get their heads chopped off.It amazes me how the media is so quick to jump at the opportunity of a minor complaint about one jerk.Mind your own business and we'll mind ours.If you want to live in a country of Us and Them,then move to Saudi Arabia where you're complaints will land you in the stoning pit.

Yes, the niqab does define you. It is a physical, in your face statement that you are an adherent of Sharia Law. As many are saying, if you want to live in an Islamic State, under Sharia Law, you should go to a country that can offer you that. Sharia Law has no place in a democracy. Sharia Law and its practitioners do not belong in democracy.

this is pure horse shit, while there is people afraid of muslims the west has created a society that prides itself on tolerance and inclusion. The full niqab is basically a wall to society saying I don't want to communicate or participate as eye contact and facial expressions determine how we interact with each other. If you feel the need to dress in a full veil I would suggest moving to a islamic society that would make you feel included.

The issue is islam, not all muslims. Unfortunately those two often go hand in hand, making it hard to criticizes islam without people thinking you are criticizing all muslims, which isn’ the case. \n\nThe issue with the religion of islam is that it is inherently not peaceful (If you want to discuss why that is more so the case than other religions we can do that). In fact in many situations you will hear Islamic muslins part of a western country use the free speech given to them, under the laws and constitution of that society, in order to impose the suggestion of sharia law. This would mean no more free speech (and far more dire consequences) for others not of islamic belief under sharia law. Sharia law is a set of religious political laws used in the majority of middle eastern Islamic countries and cultures. Christians are not under the law of even their own Bible. That is because Jesus fulfilled the law when he died and rose again. ISIS are some of the most devout Muslims in the world and follow the Quran and the Hadith to the letter. To say ISIS does not represent islam is like saying tele-evangelists are not a part of Christianity. (And I am sure some of you might actually agree with that) but the fact is it does. The personal character of them does not always represent Christianity. Jesus was perfect Mohammad was not. Jesus is sitting at the right had of God \nMohammad was the worst of sinners. \n\nMohammad is in hell because he was killed my a female and according to Mohammad in the Hadith a man murdered by a woman is going to go to hell. That would also include Mohammad. \n\nSo who would you want to follow. Christians sucks Arabs money in middle East , easy to say kill them or kick them out but I know many of them already converted to Islam and became good human. Wearing a hijab or a niqab shouldn't define a person. Why should ALL Muslims be judged on something ONE Muslim did? That's like saying you will never eat apples again, because one didn't taste good. We all have the right to dress however we want but then why are women who cover their faces criticized. People seriously have a lot of time if they criticize other people based on what they wear. lol srsly get a life.

As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc... I am a Muslim woman and I say this.  It truly is a shame how the media is portraying Islam and the Muslim people as a whole, and it truly is a shame that Canadians have become so ignorant.  I see more ignorance and racism in Canada than I do in America and 9/11 took place in America.  If you want to know about Islam, learn about Islam from a Muslim, a Library, google Islam, or offer to spend a few days with a Muslim family for research to get a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.  As a Muslim myself I can understand the hatred and the ignorance because we act according to how we were taught and raised, and yes we have many extremists claiming to follow the Islamic faith.  These extremists are not only hurting Western civilization, but they are also hurting the peaceful moderate Muslims that value their rights and freedoms as Canadians.  I do not appreciate ISIS hijacking my religion, I do not appreciate Hamas or Hezballah hijacking my Religion because I am a very accepting person and a very open minded Muslim and to be defined by media as a problem or a terrorist is very hurtful and a shame.

Women should wear what they want. However, there are signs on Bank doors saying 'do not wear bike helmets' yet these Muslim women can have only their eyes showing and get away with it for religious reason. They might as well walk into the Bank wearing a balaclava. They are intimidating, you are removing their human features thus making them threatening and suspicious. There should be exceptions, like when and where you can wear them if we cannot remove it completely at least.

Those women are lying, They cannot tell the truth because the will be shunned by their families. I know a lot of muslims and they all say the same thing, The Hijab is worn because they believe that the Quran teaches women are not equal and that they must wear the head covering so they do not Tempt men.\n\n It's basically a way of men having control over women. All religions are bad, but Islam goes above and beyond bad.\n\nDon't be fooled my fellow Canadians Most muslims want Sharia Law and would pass the law if they could without hesistation, knowing most of us would have to pay the jtsia tax or be executed.

This might a little of topic but many of the practices that Muslims do are very good health wise \n\n1) while making wudo (a special wash before prayer) when we rinse our nose with water to that cleans until the the bone at the top of our nose is so good that it actually finishes allergies like if you have pollen allergy because when you clean it is getting less sensitive and more stronger I know someone (I've met someone) that had an allergy with fur or something and they made wudo very often and in actually 2 years they had no allergies\n\n2) when we pray:\nThere was a young man who wasn't so practising so he didn't pray he spent his time working out and doing track and field during one of his runs he fell and fractured a bone when the went to the doctor (non Muslim doctor) he told the guy to do some actions that will help in recovering his bones and the acts that the doctors showed him were the actions we do in our prayer, the guy decided to do these actions but not by itself but in his prayer and this was giving to him by a person that wasn't even Muslim!\n\n3) when Muslims cover ourselves many guys don't hit on us because when we cover ourselves its a sign so show that we are not into these kinds of stuff \nIf you want to see proof search up walking in NYC for 10 hours by AreWeFamousNow\n\nSo next time you say that we are crazy doing this stupidity we are protecting ourselves and we are treating our body good health wise.

What about the terrorism that Christians are involved in?  The sexual abuse of children that still goes on today.  People have to remember not only were Pope John Paul and Pope Benedict were aware of the sexual abuse the perverted priests and bishops engage in,  but Pope Benedict went out of his way to move and protect the pedophile priests.  The Catholic church has spent millions on lawyers to prevent having to pay out the victims of sexual abuse.  The catholic church also has in its possessions stolen art works and valuables stolen by the Nazis during the war.  They have not handed them back to their rightful owners.  And to add insult to injury the Catholic church enjoys tax exemption status and protection in Canada while the victims of the church do not have access to services to help them rebuild their lives due to the effects they still suffer as a result of this abuse.  \n\nAn example of the further victimization sexual abuse victims of the Catholic cult have been exposed to is the practice of Crimen sollicitationis  Crimen sollicitationis states that if a person speaks out about their sexual abuse experiences within this cult they can be ex-communicated from the church.  \n\nAs a white man who is an ex catholic and who also had sexual abuse from this church it is my belief that many young children who were sexually and spiritually abused by the Catholic cult did not come forward because of shame and did not want to have to be exposed to this kind of re victimization by the Catholic cult again. \n\nI believe it is because a lot of Muslim people are people of colour that they are persecuted in Canada.  The real terrorist in Canada is not only the Catholic church but a spokesman for them the Crime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada.  The are terrorists who rig elections, and their party is rife with criminal and illegal activity and are a threat to democracy.  That is why everyone should be protesting their anti terrorist bill they are ramming down the throats of Canadians Bill C-51  \n\nIf you have nothing intelligent to say and believe being a conservative makes you exempt from the laws of Canada, and you are set in dismantling democracy, the Conservative Party of Canada wants you.

People who say it's the white males in power trying to oppress the Muslims with their culture need to wake up, If these people want to live in a society that abides by Sharia law they should have stayed in their own country or assimilated to the dominant culture in the country they immigrated to. But you have all of these people coming here because they've ruined their own countries with the same beliefs and values that they are trying to impose in the counties they immigrate to. It makes me sick.

If they want sharia law, why not move back to their own countries where it's already imposed? I live in London but I'm not Brit and I truly love this Country,but there's no way a bunch of muslim can tell me not to have a beer while waiting for the bus.Should I visit some islamic town I'd never say a man hey don't wear those clothes or cut that beard.If you were not born in here but you want to live here well then respect the society who's hosting you and get a life.Muslims,get a life for god's sake and stop with the sharia bullshit.

As for multiculturalism, is a political word and means what ever politicians want it to at the time. I believe in humanity, I grew up in Manchester and lived their until my forties. Now having lived all over the world I can honestly say that all people are pretty much the same. We all want the same things and most people are decent. The racists I have come across are always pretty thick and usually being manipulated by some group leader who just like religious leaders. just want power. .
