Many legal immigrants put much efforts into following US law and their ability development that can be helpful for US. Why accepting illegal people? it is insulting to many illegal immigrants. Trump is right.

Illegal entry is illegal in any OTHER countries. Why do a lot of Americans pity them and want to accept them when we can’t even support our own homeless families, young kids without parents… America is suffering so much rn. No reason to pity them. We need to take care of our ppl first period. The first needs to be handled within their OWN GOVERNMENT. Don’t waste our tax, power and energy of our soldiers or cops. Ive been working my ass off to pay for my documents for legality, paid taxes yearly and just comply to whatever is needed for immigration. Now im a US citizen. And this people just think they can just walked in without legal papers pisses me off. Come on people we all have different struggles in life, but we have to do the right thing! Even if youre inside the US you cannot have a decent job and no company is gonna accept you if you dont have legal papers. Therefore you cannot open a bank account and you cannot build your credit and get a place to stay. Theres too many homeless here already. Just do the right thing! The govt cannot save you all.

These people need to have a civil war in their own countries to free themselves from tyrants just like Americans did. Stop thinking that coming to this country will give you a better life. Start thinking, We need to sacrifice for our children and generations after us in our own country. It’s simple and it works. Many people need to sacrifice themselves to better their families. It’s a shame not many are willing to accept it and actually do it.

This is so sad, if they would accept immigration camps , internment caps if you will. We just had some illegal immigrant from MS13 murder and completely dismember a door dash delivery driver where i live. And now were letting more of the people from the worst places into our county. Americans have become so accepting and open minded that their brains have literally fallen out of their heads... We are self destructing at this point. Stupid Politicians. They should implement dual interest rates: pump mortgage interest rates to at least 7%, and have corporate interest rates set to 2-3%. And, set property tax to at least 50% for those whose accumulated real estate is valued over 1M~1.5M. I don't expect the Canadian government would implement such a policy any time soon, the only way out for Canadians is to migrate to the U.S.; Canada soon will become a hallowed country (similar to Hong Kong) - has nothing but real estate - look at the # of jobs related to real estates - totally insane - not mentioning most of these workers only accept cash to avoid taxes. If you are young and not stupid, you should move to the U.S. - period.

What is the policy of that university regarding people on campus being allowed to carry knives ? If it is acceptable then he should not have been bothered by cops. But if not than why should he get special treatment from police ? Just because his religion allows him to carry a knife doesn't entitle him to be able to carry one in places that knives are not permitted.

While other migrants come into the country through legal process, patiently waiting for their turns, took tests inorder to be accepted here. Yet, here we see these people just crossing the border without respect of the laws of the country they’re entering. It’s mind boggling.

big problem with the housing is also trudeau taking in so many immigrants and refugees before having enough available housing for everybody. I think they were taking in 200k people a year. while we need atleast 1million new houses within the next 10 years in order to supply enough to the population. There was also an issue with forieign purchases where people from other countries were buying houses in canada and nobody living in them. Trudeaus votes comes from majority indian people and arabic since thats a lot of the population in canada, and to win those votes and get more hes friendly with them accepting a lot of immigrants from those countries, its not a bad thing since a lot are very well educated and their peaceful people for the most part, but the problem is there isn't enough housing. Even renting has become competitive , owning is near impossible without help. Trudeau really messed up the country, houses are riduclously expensive and they often go into bidding wars if in a good area, banks interest rates keep going up now, loans are harder to take out, sadly we need to limit the amount of immigrants that come into the country until the right number of houses are built in the country, if anything new and major cities need ot be build in other locations with jobs in order to get more people spread out around the provinces. Once there is enough houses and jobs i believe the doors should be open to whomever wishes to come (obviously with a background check) but until then there should be a limit so the houses stop going up.

We could be so much more. There is so much wasted potential in the country it's disheartened. Along with the infinity money pits the government has deemed acceptable to pump all currency into. Such a fuckin shit show.

We should not be responsible for the placement of migrants. This is ridiculous. We should not be helping Ukraine in the form of providing money & weapons. Actually what happened was the Mexican cartel told a ton of migrants that the bridge was going to be accepting all people for a short period in an attempt to draw focus away from the current war going on between cartels and the Mexican government, this used resources from both the Mexican side and the American side.

The problem with accepting a lot of immigration from countries like Venezuela for example is that all the good people that have some influence flees the country, leaving tyrants to stay in power longer since most of the opposition fled the country. If they want to leave the country because of the elected government they have to stay over there and solve their problem. On top of that I have many friends who came to the U.S. because of the government but go back to their country every year for vacation. I am not against immigration, and if we are smart we can get more people working and contributing with taxes, I just don’t like the fact that most of this people are good people who fled their country to leave tyrants free to do whatever they want.

He refused to accept the results of the elections in which his opponent won in 2018 and deployed the military to kill dissenters. This is EXACTLY what Republicans wanted to have done in the US: have Trump rule by SCOTUS decree and deploy the military to counter Democrat and Independent protestors.
