The first time 2018 I arrived in Vancouver, I was shocked. I saw a lot of homelessness, trash, crime, ugly urbanism, and rusty houses in downtown and east Vancouver. I saw, homeless people, pooping and peeing everywhere and it's so common. nobody cares. I was shocked again. I endured for 3 years but every day going worst. late in 2022I decided to move to the east coast because I thought that place has a stronger culture. I chose Montreal. I had heard it is the capital of art and civilization in Canada. it was absolutely wrong. Canada is Canada. I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups. You cannot see any street or park or public place without these. This is impossible. surprisingly nobody cares. neither the people nor the government!!!!!!! please, don't be fooled by the advertisement about a good Canada. please, be careful. most of the things about a good Canada are deception. comparing Canada to other developed countries is wrong because Canada is only a developing country with a lot of serious problems. maybe a 2nd world country.

The bitter truth must be accepted. Without any exaggeration. Completely impartial. I have to say that I didn't see a single piece of garbage in any of the other country's videos to convince myself. Without exaggeration, in all Canadian cities, you will find a piece of trash or garbage on the ground less than every hundred meters. It must have an important reason. I do not know. I am 50 years old and from a country in the 3rd world in the Middle East called Iran (with the most dictatorial regime in the world) and have traveled to 26 countries. Canada is far from its claims. At this time I live in Saint-Sauveur with my family. I work 5 hours a week as a volunteer person to clean the sides of roads, streets, national parks, and public places in the city. I lived in Vancouver for 4 years, this city is a disaster. when you drive or walk on East Hastings, Victoria Drive, Commercial Drive, West Georgia, Broadway, Main Street, Granville, and most places downtown, you never believe this city is in Canada. they're worst than some places in Africa or the 3rd world countries in Asia. I love this country and try my best to help. I came for peace. How strange, westerners discriminate against blacks and Asians, Europeans discriminate against Asians and blacks, Asians discriminate against blacks and maybe Americans too, but I'm yet to find who blacks discriminate against in or outside their continent, I really don't have so much energy to hate anyone

Oh god this is sooo sad to see and very misleading,Indian universities are as good or even better than some Canadian and US unis, also dont forget countries like Russia, Poland, Czech trust me guys, universities there are much much harder and better knowledge is provided. An American and Canadian students will find it very difficult to pass the exams in those countries compared to their own. \nSo I dont understand why Indians dont go to those EAST EU countries or stay in India, the best Medical unis,IT,engineering, Architecture, bio chemistry and many more are actually in India and east European countries including Russia.

Most Canadians of European heritage understand that those of African or Caribbean heritage will almost never actually like the cold of a Canadian winter. But we sure do, we love snowmobiling, ice hockey, ice fishing, skiing and snowboarding and all things winter. As for the long lines in an emergency department, That's called triage, and it's the same in every developed nation, granted it's a headache and discouraging, but it's the price you pay for free healthcare. I had a kidney stone flare up a few years ago and a friend that was with me drove me to the hospital, I had a morphine shot within 5 minutes of entering and left within an hour, It all depends on how big your boo-boo is that dictates your wait time. Jobs? Yes we have different standards than other country's and need to ensure the applicant is up to Canadian standards, and the last I checked our unemployment rate was around 3.7 %. Unfortunately, Canada has dropped from 9th spot in the world's happiest countries down to 14th, but still way ahead of the US. Oh, and Canadians almost never immigrate to the US, we head there sometimes for a vacation to Florida, but most of us when we have worked a lifetime and are retiring either stay somewhere here or head to Belize or Costa Rica Or portugal where housing and food is much more affordable. So in ending and a small counter to your video title. Reasons to stay in Canada are Freedom, free healthcare, social safety net, tons of winter activities, large job market for motivated individuals, Fair elections where you can vote out a party that you don't like, The peace of mind that you can walk down the street without worrying that you will be shot, robbed, mugged or molested. That's my Canada and I love it.

What do you want to achieve with your video? At times it looks like a genuine cry from the heart and at times, your words are too harsh on Canada. First, seems you only lived in Vancouver. Would you have the same feeling or solitude if you lived in a more open space like Toronto, Montréal or St- John where geography is totally different. You speak of Vancouver as being an suburb of Seattle. Friend, it’s North America and there’s one culture, one language, one type of city. You can’t wish Canada were a Spain, France or Italy lookalike. If you want a taste of Europe in Canada, then why not move to Québec. With New-Orleans, Québec city or Montréal are the two places with the more European cachet. I understand you like the proximity of European cities and countries and I’m happy for you that you now live in a city where you feel alive and happy. But please, don’t take Canada for what it’s not: Europe. It’s an extension of US. as for weather, it’s a northern country and Vancouver is the London of the west coast. Rainy but mild.

Cold weather, it`s punishing to my joints,not to mention dragging myself to go to work in the winter, real punishment to the spirit.A foreign passport(swiss) opened countless doors for me but I cant imagine being anywhere else than here.And if there is a day I decide to leave, it will be back to Africa but not any European country.\nWow we have minimum 4 weeks vacation here, in my working place,we all have 5 weeks and I love it.Unfortunately we can`t take the 5 weeks in one go, you have to divide it into 3 or 4= 1,2,1,1.
