I don't want to live in a WEF prison. I won't move there even if the Canadian government pays me. I feel sorry for my fellow South Africans that move there. Get little Swaups g-string out of the prime leadership and I think that it will be a wonderful country to live in.

I am just wondering if I am an civil engineering major with experience 10 years, is hard to find a job that fits to my major. Or am I more likely to work as a constructor worker when I got to Canada. I am really considering to move with my wife and son to Canada

Video is lovely, anywhere in life, positive aspects to see with wider approach. For higher studies of Kids in UofT, UBC or McGill University, Fees is $3,00,000 approx. for 4 years for International student plus $1,00,000 for stay, foods etc. in Graduation and start wonderful career in age of 21-22. That's the worth of PR. Don't loose it and keep doors open with 2 years compliance of Residency Obligation in 5 years. Vision and future of kids is more important than comfort of parents. as a PR your kids will pay only $75,000 for University fee and can do part time from day one to recover living expense, that's financial management!

Like the Germans at the end of WWII Trudeau is stealing everything he can hobbling any chance of Canada recovering in the next 30 years and the BLOC and NDP are complicit in their crimes and the general public wonders why rent and food are unaffordable, welcome to the new third world Canada vote for your favorite again..... just shows that the voting age should be 25 and politicians need to be qualified intellectually with degree's other than drama majors....

My grandparents and aunt are Canadian. Canada made the same mistake we did in the US. Yes life was good but the wealth was a delicate balance. Once we opened the doors to the world, we found that ecosystem more delicate than we knew, which makes the Western world even more of a cultural miracle than we realized, given the degree of freedom we enjoy. No wonder the not-west thought that our societies were disasters in the making and not capable of coherent opinion or defense.

Currently, annual immigration in Canada amounts to around 500,000 new immigrants – one of the highest rates per population of any country in the world. As of 2022, there were more than eight million immigrants with permanent residence living in Canada - roughly 20 percent of the total Canadian population. Where is the data coming from that no one wants to live in Canada anymore?\n\nCanadians love to complain. Yes, there is crime, homelessness, drug use, extreme weather, housing crisis... but that's not isolated to Canada. Obviously there are ways to improve, but I wonder which other country would Canadians like to live in instead? Also, Canada is not just Vancouver and Toronto... Canadians are spoiled with the ability to easily move to lower cost of living areas in the same country. Imagine living in Singapore where and entire country is expensive and a Toyota Prius costs more than $100k, or Hong Kong where the real estate prices make Vancouver seem cheap... but people can't move away.

I came with a WHV from a G7 country (Europe), applied for PR since I had a very high CRS score and I am in the middle of the process. Spent several thousands of dollars, but I often wonder why I went through all this painful procedure if I am not happy here. I sure learned a lot and grew as a man after my hardships, but I am miserable.

I spent several wonderful years in Vancouver in the 1980s. I would have said then that it was the best country in the world to emigrate to. I can't believe what's happened to it, mostly it seems under the present government.

Just because you’re a doctor, an architect, an other in the country you came from... does not mean that you’re automatically qualified to work in Canada.\n\nThe standards are already being lowered in the medical system.. and it will come at a cost, equating to a lot more malpractice.\n\nI also wonder how many documents are forged with some of these degrees. Any who, all the best to you in the future!

Trudeau is taxing the living shit out of us with his carbon taxes. On the other hand, he is allowing 350,000 immigrants per year which translates into at least 100,000 cars and 350,000 immigrants living a first world energy usage. Canadians are already the biggest users of energy per capita on the planet owing to a very cold winter and a very warm summer. Is it any wonder that Mr. Pinko's Canada never attains its carbon reduction goals

Well duhhh....really? People aren't dimwitts the causality is self evident...wondering about the other 25%....gotta be libs..?
|

According to the Liberals that would mean 75% of Canadians are racist. I wonder how many other names they'll call us for pointing out basic facts. We're already right wing extremists for not wanting the carbon tax or affordable housing.

Just in the final stages of moving to Mexico. Retired last year and will be gone by Feb 2024. So long Canada you unfortunately lost your way due to horrendously poor government. I often wonder what Canada will look like in 10 years with the current numbers of immigration pouring in????

FYI Canadians, Refugees, and immigrants are fleeing Canada, because of the hate against white people, the outlandish cost of living, and the lies about our British ancestors who by the way gave all the land back to 1st nations/metis and we pay rent to live on their land. 1763 King George the 3rd made it so after our British ancestors' soldiers who fought against the French who wanted all the land to be the NEW PARIS! King George also set up a huge Trust Fund that we Canadians pay RENT into to live on their land. 1st Nations/metis is a multi-billion industry and we white British are being ripped off by our landlord the 1st Nations/metis. 1st nations/Metis also are racists against the JEWS and are siding with HAMAS and blaming the JEWS. I think it is time we white British and the Jews leave Canada. We can call it the big SWITCHAROO, we whites and Jews return back to Britain, etc and Britain, etc will send all of their haters to Canada. I am serious please write to the KING demanding we leave. Let us stop this multicultural charade that we whites invented, return home shut down 1st Nations/metis Trust Funds, and end the proclamations and protection for 1st Nations/metis have from Britain. 1st nations/metis please please write to the king and let's get the SWITCHAROO ROLLING. For all the 1st nations/metis siding with radical Islam against the Jews...Congratulations on siding with the NAZIS! We white British ended slavery in 1801 for Britain and Canada by King George the 3rd! We whites invented the phrase do not judge by the color of their skin...Why do whites say that? A duh the white race came from AFRICA and they have proven this with DNA. 2 sets of Africans migrated out of Africa to colder regions of the world and became dark-tanned, lighter-tanned, and white because of the lack of sun that our and my ancestors received from the AFRICAN SUN! FYI every human on this planet has ancient African DNA.\nThanks for ruining Canada and the USA leftwingers/1st nations/metis etc. \nLife will be wonderful for you all in Canada after we leave, just think once we leave you will have no one else to blame but yourselves.\nNow the housing crisis, there are too many apartments that have turned into CONDOS and they always have lots of vacancies.\nDemand Boxable homes, it is cheaper, humane, takes one hour to put together, and Tornado, earthquake, etc free. It has a bed, couch, built-in flatscreen TV, a full fridge, oven, washer/dryer, air conditioning, and shower with tubs. You can put a couple of them together to make a 2+ bedroom etc. Demolish all the blocks of rundown houses and put boxable homes call it the boxable neighborhood, for low-income families, our Veterans, seniors, and white/metis men who are the highest in homeless. The highest number of suicides worldwide is WHITE MEN just so you know!\n\n1st nations you have work to do now start writing to the king so we can end this great big lie about multiculturalism.\nWhile you do that we white British descendants will write to the king that we are being ripped off, and demonized and how it is a crime to sue white people for crimes that happened before we were even born...that is a move that nazis did to the JEWS! We fought against the fricken Nazis and won and the 1st nations/metis have allowed nazis on their land...Time to leave Canada so the nazi praising landowner's 1st nations/metis can receive money from the nazis, which they will not pay. FYI Muslims are saying they will rule Canada by 2030 and guess what will be implemented SHARIA LAW. Have fun with that. LMAO!

I think the Canadian expierence is total BS. If you have skillset from a foreign country that is same skillset in Canada it should be recognized immediately. No wonder why Canada has shortages of skilled workers, its because of this BS. Having to waste time in re-education and the time spent getting cdn working experience (aka cheap labor).

Human rights in canada it is just some words in a peppers not yet practiced .\nThe least thing human needes is a place to call home after food but in canada only rich are allowed to live.\nThose who are in the streets are pusged in to that position but i wonder instead of giving drogs for free before that why they don't provide for them apartments to live.\nOne thing i regret to come this country to look for human rights.\nCanada is for rich people, no aprtunaty to make your life better?

It’s like this everywhere in Canada. We have the worst federal government in memorable history driving inflation to horrifying levels while rampantly taxing its citizens while providing the worst services I have seen in my life, all the while boasting about how great they are. Drug addicts are given free federally funded hardcore drugs out of “compassion”, no wonder there are mental health problems. Until we have serious reality based leadership the ship will continue to sink. Maybe if we vote them in for another term things will get better?

Thank you for posting this! I feel much the same.\nI was born in Toronto but my family moved to another city in Southwestern On. when I was 10. I pledged to move back and did in 2004 to become a student. I loved the freedom and vibrancy of the city, met many friends and had a wonderful time. Even as a student, working part time, I was able to afford a shared accommodation downtown and still have a bit of disposable income. \nAfter graduating college, I found full time employment and was able to live comfortably alone in my own 2 bd apartment in mid-town for many years. In 2012, I met my partner and we continued to live in North York in a 3bd rent-controlled unit. We could see the decline in the city over the next several years. We decided we would never be able to achieve what we wanted to by staying where we were so in 2018 we took the plunge and bought a home in Windsor and have never looked back (though Windsor also has many social/affordability issues) .\nIn all, I miss the Toronto I once knew and loved but the decline of the city is pretty shocking.

I'm from Asia and recently moved to Canada with my family to live a slower-paced and safer life. I've seen firsthand that the drug problem here is worse than it was back home, and they're being coddled with no plans to discipline or rehabilitate them. I asked my friends how I could defend myself and my family if a random drug addict broke into our house and stole our belongings; could I at least beat that person up until the police arrived? They said you couldn't because you'd be charged with assault. It's funny. \n\nApart from the crimes and exorbitant living costs despite living in a rural area, even Canadians who have lived in the country since birth are struggling to make ends meet. \n\nSome positive comments, Canada provided me with a work-life balance that was not possible in Asia due to the competitive nature of the corporate world. So I had time to spend with my family, and you don't have to travel abroad to see beautiful scenery. Canadians are also very accommodating and friendly, in contrast to where I came from, where people will not help unless it benefits them as well. The Canadians here are extremely friendly. So Canada is great because of its people, but I can tell you that the government consistently makes bad decisions about how to solve certain problems, such as drugs and harm reduction strategies. Another issue is that they do not recognize internationally trained professionals, which could have helped alleviate healthcare issues in our area, where we have many internationally trained nurses from the Philippines working as restaurant servers and janitors. We have doctors from Kenya who have to work as general laborers and in other odd jobs where they can use their profession and experience to help people. I am also an immigrant, but the government should strategically distribute us based on our qualifications. I chose a rural area because I don't want to add to the number of immigrants in big cities and instead want to contribute to the local economy by bringing my skills and experience to the pool. \n\nCanada is a wonderful country, and I continue to believe so, but the government must reward and do more for its people who are trying their best to make this country great.

ive always been proud to be canadian but not anymore. we are giving newcomers (refugees) thousands of dollars to get their lives set up with free rent for a year while a veteran and young kids sleep on the street, without access to basic services....no wonder so many of them turn to drugs.

Where bring in too many people to fast with out doing our due diligence. Wonder why rents are so high, or a shortage of homes to buy? What the hell did you expect? We brought in over a million people last year, did the morons in charge even give where these people were going to live, work, recreated ,worship or go to school a seconds thought?

My family came to Canada 30 years ago. My father and siblings worked very hard to build a business that provides services to the public. My spouse works harder now to provide half of what I grew up with. I wonder how they will provide for their families. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to live a decent life. It’s not the Canada I grew up in. It makes me sad my children are not growing up with what I had. The taxes are high and expenses are high. Trying to own a home is near impossible. It’s a challenge to keep going. I don’t have anywhere else to go let alone my kids. Hope things change for the better for our children’s sake.
