As a nation we have the right to control the entry of migrants in to our country. We need to be careful how many people we let in. It all affects our country for the good and bad.

I get wanting a better life. But American people need to come first. Veterans need to come first. We deserve to have happy lives more than others just bombarding into our country. America can’t even take care of it’s own people first and that’s embarrassing. Every country has a strict way to be able to get in/get citizenship. Yet, when it’s America, everyone yells racist, classism, etc. WE are more important and I will forever say that people who aren’t from here do not belong until they do it the right way.

I know they're looking for a better life but what exactly is it that they're hoping to get after they get here? Say 10% of them have family in the country that if they get to them, they can then be fed, clothed, and sheltered.\nOk so now the other 90% come across both illegally and in this case aggressively feeling entitled but without any resources of their own.\nAgain the question is what are they expecting to receive in the way of assistance once they're inside the U.S.?\nSection 8 hud housing has enough problems finding housing for low income housing insecure Americans. The public Healthcare system is completely maxed out as it is! U S. Exactly the same thing here in England.. but we have so many snow flakes over here that want to keep letting thousands in.. then complain that half the countries on benefits, the NHS is stretched beyond belief and housing is running out fast.. there has to be a time when we simply say no sorry. We need to take care of our own citizens and homeless veterans before people from other countries. They have governments they can vote. They should be fixing their own country instead of coming here and trying to take advantage of what we have. Make your own home better..

I live next to a drop off destination for Joe Biden's migrants. I would have to say they appear to be victims of the Democrat party, in that, like many other groups of people they have been lied to or given false hopes of success or prosperity. It is evident every morning when about thirty men gather in groups awaiting, perhaps a local contractor, to drive up and offer them a few hours of work, digging a hole or some other menial task. We also now have these corner Hey Cocos fruit stands where another of Joe's migrants sits for hours, making a couple bucks, at best, and a few more for whoever owns the cart and provides the fruit. I can only imagine where all these men must be sleeping at night, who might be paying for their space on a garage floor. Their only relief comes from gathering at the park across the street to use the barbecues and tables, and share a meal. For some the meal leads to beer and drunkenness. I watched the police send five of them back to the garage since they were all in a car drinking, even an open alcohol container in CA is illegal. If I were one of them I would have been arrested, but these lucky Biden immigrants were simply told to walk away. I hope the police at least impounded the car. Ten o'clock on a Sunday morning, people jogging, people walking their dogs, unaware of Joe Biden's guys, ready to drive away in drunken bliss. Thank you Joe. Thank you Democrats, you have created another group of dependents at least you can give them free health-care, I suppose that's one way to say they have improved their lives by coming here.

Usa needs to take care of their own people before helping anyone else

Born and raised Cdn and every point you raise is valid IMO and experience. I love my country however, it is hard to get ahead, we work too much, and cost of living is so expensive. The reason why Canada is wonderful for those who stay is A) Charter of Rights and Freedoms - we are protected by laws and citizens enjoy legal, justice, policing and gvmt services that help protect quality of life. B) it is a safe country primarily and not easy to reach for insurgents, terrorist attacks and political anarchy etc. C) We have so much land and space for people to decide where they want to live - density is not high so you can have space. D) it is a beautiful country with awe inspiring nature. E) we do have one of the best immigrant populations and that is our crown. Being diverse is a blessing so if you are atheist, Christian, Muslim etc doesn't matter - you can enjoy freedom to worship as you wish. And F) Healthcare could improve but, the quality of care is world class and speaking as a breast cancer survivor who's treatment ran $120k (diagnostics, chemo, surgery, radiation, med professionals, rehab and drug therapies) we have access to that care whereas in other countries you may not.

Allow the border patrols to do their jobs, seal the borders electric fences, rubber bullets and water canons and anyone crossing illegally should be sent to prison automatically 7 years for trespassing into a country illegally...then on release date a 1 way ticket back to where they came from..... if I hurt anyone feelings just write down your address if you wanna house illegals in your place....our families have come here legally generations in and paying high taxes in nyc to see these people just come in and think its all free.... housed in expensive zipcode, hotels, while we overlook the inside of our country... opioid epidemic, country divided, homeless everywhere, let's take care of our own country and everyone who came here legally.!!!!❤ ?? ? ??

As a Hispanic, I agree with many of the comments here, these people should come legally first to take them in and so they have an easier life when they get here. But American has so many homeless people to take care of first, how can we take care of others if we have to take care of ourselves first?
