Stop immigration (legal or illegal) for now. The country is not ready for more people coming in regardless of what way (work visa, student visa, etc.). This should include assylum and refugees coming here by the legions. Many are not legitimate refugees but are deceiving the system. Ottawa is footing the bill for their hotel accommodations (yes, hotel!), food, etc. This is not mentioned on this video.

It works both ways. A lot of illegals from Latin America are also passing thru the U.S. enroute to Canada. Thousands are seeking refugee status upon arrival into Quebec or Ontario. Toronto is already bursting at the seams with tens of thousands of refugees plus new immigrants arriving every year. I've never been conservative or anti-immigration, but the situation is getting out of control. Canada has always been a country of immigrants, but in my country, Poland, that hasn't traditionally been the case. I don't think Russia is actively weaponizing migration against Europe. It's just that Russia doesn't care much: if the immigrants come live in Russia illegally, Russia will deport them; but if they want to go to western europe (with free housing, free healthcare, etc.) through Russia, then why does Russia stop them? For what? EU doesn't care about Russia's interests, why should Russia care about EU interest?

Similar issues here in the US, only ours are pouring in over the southern border with Mexico. Hardly any speak English nor have any real interest to, as well as no interest in assimilation. They live in their own little communities surround by their own kind, 90% being illegal as hell. We have immigrant problems of the less legal type here. They just come on over. Parasites upon our welfare system, the left takes advantage of them as future D voters & to bulk up their delegates which are based on population. Look at the sanctuary cities. Overrun with crime. Hello Gaurdian - let me set you straight - though I doubt the truth is the point of this video. The vast majority of Canadians support legal immigration. My parents and spouse are immigrants from different continents - all three support legal well managed immigration and oppose illegal immigration. Canadians are against immigration levels that are unsustainable regarding housing, employment and government services. Canadians favour a well managed, sustainable immigration policy that is beneficial to legal residents and the nation.
