I am 4th generation Canadian. My Daughter is 5th. I won't be leaving because I am fully Canadian. Immigrants are mostly cherry picking the country they go to these days of mass immigration. If they choose to leave it's hard but they are looking to cherry pick the country. It's not my problem. The government was not being responsible . Best of luck on their next choice for advantage. We Canadians have big problems with our government right now. Mass immigration is hurting Canada in the short term and in the long term it will hurt our cultural cohesiveness. We shouldn't be importing the world's conflicts to our streets. That helps no one.

Yeah, I've always wanted to live in Canada as a Brazilian, but as I have time to change this, I have changed my plans to hopefully be able to migrate to the Netherlands as it is a beatiful country with walkable cities (as far as I know, I will look into it more).

Not only is it it impossible to live here, there are no resources unless the government gets something from it. As an indigenous child who grew up in foster care my whole life, there was no indigenous foster care homes for me to go to and therefore my culture has become traumatic for me. My OWN culture has major trauma related to it and my foster care agency would NOT help me unless I moved to the reservation after I aged out the THEIR system, which was not applicable because they were the ones who traumatized me. When I turned 19, I was expected to have it all figured out, I was not allowed to remain in my foster home afterwards without massive paper work and thank god my foster mom cared about me because without her, I would be on the streets with nothing but a garbage full of clothes. I moved out on my own with the help of that family and my agency said they would help with things if I asked. As of the economy now, I did ask them. I asked them for any help at all and my social worker LITERALLY ghosted me and stood me up, even at my plea for help. You would think this is just my case but there are hundreds of cases like mine with even worse endings and what Canada has done with this information is nothing. Foster Care in Canada for indigenous youth is the 2000’s way of Residential Schools and I am EXTREMELY lucky to NOT be homeless and dead. Many of my friends in similar situations are dead or homeless and I have no hope for Canada, it’s an extremely depressing reality.

Glad to see you leave. As a child of muslim refugee parents, I was born in Canada and love this country and what it has done for my parents and myself. I would not have the high quality of life that I do now if I were in my parent's home country, which to this day is still at war. I hope more muslims like you who live in western countries leave instead of complaining and trying to make it more Islamic. Canada is not an Islamic country, it is a country for all so there will be things the government or non-muslims do that don't align with Islam. On the streets in the shops of my city English is spoken about 50% of the time and about 80% of the people you see aren't even from Canada.
