Now international students know weasting their time and money in Canada is worthless. So it’s not government cut off students not applying ??

The luxury of moving to another country isn’t available to every one of us in all direction, for your case, let us know the reasons you chose the another side with the same details, if possible. I believe you guys were a great value to the Muslim community in Canada and will be truly missed!

Part of the problem is Canada only has two cities, Vancouver and Toronto so the cost of living has skyrocketed in both cities. Most immigrants just only know to go to these cities.

Shut down immigration totally , we don’t even know who is coming to Canada,

Canadian government either having no clue or making excuses. These international students are a backdoor to immigration. They know these fraudulent diploma schools setup by their countrymen in Canada are backdoors. Indian students caught up in several of these schools which ran into trouble have even got the Canadian government to sympathize and support their stay after the fact.

International students are good for Canada in the long-term national benefit. There's one problem. many of these students are not genuine students but a gateway for them coming to work instead of schooling. I know many Indians came in, instead of studying, working for Uber delivery, Tim Horton etc.

The issue here is that students that get permit to come to study but don’t end up studying, the problem with tourist without visa or with visa can come and are permitted to enter n stay for up to 6 months but once they are in, they overstay and break their tourism status or extend it but all along since the start they came to work and never to be a tourist , and probably Canada has it wrong KNOWINGLY OR BY “mistake” thinking they will get revenue from high fees on students and tourism but they get jack all

What I would like to know myself as a Canadian resident for 60 years where is the financing coming from the students coming in from their perspective countries or is it Canadian financing. The next question please would be would these students actually contribute to Canada's society and not be like the last 20 years of nurses being trained and doctors also guilty of this of leaving the country and laughing at the Canadian taxpayer by not even paying back the student loan which is not forgivable by any means I would really appreciate someone to educate me on this it's just an unknown I feel almost ripped off.

I personally know students who have been here in Canada for 3 weeks and they are already working 2 jobs and also going to the food bank for free food.

90% of international students are not coming to Canada for studying, and they are not paying disproportionately exorbitant fees for Canadian education or degrees. They know they are paying a hefty amount to buy Canadian citizenship.

Not only accepting too many international students but also too many people with zero ability and knowledge to communicate with others. Ton of people who came with work permits basically doing nothing. I know so many of them as soon as they got the work permits, left Canada and got back home. Our education system is not as efficient as before. Too many kids from those family with work permits are joining the schools every day so the number of kids in each class is way more than it should be.There is no idea behind bringing too many immigrants. Stop doing that. Canada is not a great country like before.

The govt knows that 95% of the international students are here for the PR and no shame on that… but the govt have to keep up with housing and other requirements that students going to need… you let students comes to Canada and they only can work for 30 hours week minimum wage. No one can survive with that… I don’t blame the kids I only blame this govt.

I used to teach and coordinate programs for international nurse, this is spot on - and I have always wondered about Canadian students getting into programs - we need Canadian students who are talented and want to study but cannot afford it. There is so much i could unpack. In general, most of the students are lovely and hard-working, but the intent in most cases is to get a PR status - so most of them stay. Many also are disappointed with Canada - as they may come from a place where they were in a different social class. I know many of my students now are productive members of Canadian society working in their chosen fields. I am proud of them - as the move was not easy and they left their families behind. Considering that most of the world is a collectivist culture versus our individualist culture of the West, there is much to adjust to. Good piece.

I am a Canadian living in New Jersey. I know of 60 other Canadians who are living here because of the situation in Canada. New Jersey allows persons with no legal status to get a drivers license, TAX id number, and but real-estate. A luxury home in exclusive Margate is 41.5million. 5 miles away a large home is $350k. In Mississauga a crappy home is $2million.

Yes it's true and me as an international student regret coming to Canada. I already paid my scholarship so I'm staying here for 2 years and then I'm gone, everything it's so expensive and the money goes to housing. I can barely save money, only staying to know and explore beautiful landscapes :)

I immigrated here back in 2019, by the time I became a citizen in 2023, I was just astonished at the level of immigration and international students. I hate how schools exploit them for cash, their education quality is so so bad, its unimaginable, and you can't blame the teachers even, each class is like 300-450 students. The quality of education is so bad in Canada, I don't know if it was good before but I can only imagine it was since these universities are well known here. Students loans have become a business for banks and lenders and I guess that gave the universities ideas on making a business out of exploiting poor country's wealth though international students.

I went to Conestoga college, and I wish your mon read my words. Canadians, should consider that international students are paying around 20k yearly to Canada Colleges institutions that are not offering better education than the one provided in their own countries for way less than 30k. Other developed countries, like Germany or Belgium offer the same programs to international students for around 8k yearly, but, the international students rather come to Canada which also offer an easier path to become PR. But then, they crash with the reality and they realize that even many Indians can't speak proper English to be competitive in a Canadian College or in a Canadian company. Unfortunately, Canadians educational institutions know that the English spoken by international students is not enough but, they send them an acceptance letter from the institution so they can come and study in Canada. So, the real problem are the Canadian public colleges and Universities accepting people with a poor English level from overseas. Canada is a great place to be but, this kind of actions make their productivity poor which is in reality the problem behind the bad economy development when compare with similar developed countries. So, your mon should first blame its own country policies and educational institutions rather than international students for that kind of behaviors when they are students. Also, you should put your self in their shoes, learn German and go to Germany and see how easy is to manage to get a waitress job only in German in a city like Cologne. And then remember that this international students are bringing 20k from their countries economy to Canada each one yearly. Know, think how many Canadians bring 20k yearly to India or Nepal... Problem with Canada is colleges and universities are not funded like US. For Engineering and STEM, US government and private companies like Intel/Microsoft/Qualcomm and many more spends million on research projects, and although US does rely on international students to fund students its not desperate like Canada. Besides, US has many college towns, no housing crisis like Canada and has robust economy. I studied in US free of cost with monthly stipend, fully funded by one such research grant. \nStudents should also realize sooner or later, especially in tech, that countries like Canada, NZ, Australia and UK are no. match for the United States. But then Indian students know in US they would never get green card. Canada/Australia/NZ were built like colonies, they don't have infrastructure- cities, roads, houses, airports, hospitals or even good colleges for such heavy immigration. They can take only limited immigrants in small busts.

This is Canada's version of the 'Great Replacement' theory, third world immigrants, students and eventually their families. I especially like how the CBC chose to deliver this story using one of their 'banana journalists', you know, yellow or possibly tan on the outside, but very white on the inside. I'm only halfway through but feel I need to comment and well I'm not exactly a new Canadian. But I was born the but grew up in New Zealand. And well why not . I moved over there in 2014 with full rights as a citizen. My trade wasn't recognised. Canada has its own rules about everything. You need to have training to pour drinks in a bar wtf.! But yea I came wanting a better life and well thankfully I wound up in Calgary so eventually I had the money to leave. And come home where know having seen the Canadian shit show I'm killing it here. It saddens me and yes I was that asshole that got trudeau on there cos I seen one rousing speech where he invoked his dad Pierre. And I fell for it. And not to lie I look old Canadian so I fit right in English is my first language and all that. And funnily enough it was the first time in my life where I could say fucking immigrants. It's a brutal place a brutal work climate and well there's a lot that's nice but when it's bad it's dog ear dog. I feel really sad about what's happening, all the mass illegal immigration and yet your a criminal for noticing it. A lot is very wrong, don't get me wrong nz is doing all the same shit too. I went to Canada for prosperity and to change my life lesson I learnt was go home ans do better and that's fucked.

Don' know when you were growing up, but public transportation in the last 10 years got a lot worse. In theory you're connected and the network is there, but delays and problems make using it very hard. Of course, it might be better connected than Canada ot the US but I mean look at the size of Germany, it's way easier to connect a country, which is comparatively small,

Left in 2016, writing was on the wall, I was lucky to get out when I did. Many of my freinds and family members are now economically trapped. I have a small monthly income and could not have survived without staying employed which i no longer wished to do (60 yrs). I dont know how Canada can sustain that level of inflation. Many people are really struggling

If enough of these people like you DO leave there might not be quite the housing shortage ... but when that happens most will come running back because they look for the easy and the good - instead of looking for the good and then working to make things easier - with that said this oratory of yours just just becomes redundant!

I just saw your video, I don't know where you are moving to, but rest assured that the USA is as bad, if not worse than Canada. Deterioration of moral codes of conduct, open borders with cartels running the show. I think you should consider anywhere other than the USA..

It's because it was a bunch of lies that Trudeau put out there he only put it there so you people would vote for him. People are coming from all over the world thinking you're going to get a better life, but it's just lies. The crime rate and violence are much higher in the USA than in Canada. I was born and I live in Montréal very happy and feeling very safe in my city and all over Québec. I don't know to who the Canada bashing is serving. Pretty sad, so much negativity that our country does not deserve.

I was born in Toronto and bought a house in Ajax in 2013 (before the housing market exploded). \n\nEverything you said in your video is correct. As a new comer, I know it’s hard to advance your career, make friends or buy property. \nMy son is 23 and will probably never be able to own a home and he wants to leave Canada for a better quality of life. \nRaising taxes, high rent, the failing healthcare system, and poor quality of life (plus the cold weather) are all factors that should make immigrants NOT want to come here. \n\nAs far as making friends, you hit the nail on the head. People in Canada are polite, but not friendly. I find it the same here in Toronto. You’re most likely to build friendships with people you work or go to school with. I feel we lack the sense of “community” and don’t put in as much effort to maintain friendships. \nI blame the weather for this.

Now he has moved BACK to Spain when Argentina's economy took a downturn. Iran was nice for women in the 70's, now not so much. Countries go up and down throughout time. People immigrate to Canada because they failed to succeed in their own countries. Many of them have fake degrees. . I have met many of them at work who know little about what they claim their degree is in. A wealthy businessperson in South America or Asia has no interest in relocating to Canada. Why would someone leave a tropical paradise and come to Canada unless they're a nobody in their own country.
