I am an international student, just wanted to ask Canadian people, why target international students, i am from India, i can guarantee that any Indian student coming to Canada brings at least 100k investment that directly gets used by the Canadian economy. My problem is why target us rather you guys should look for people who are coming to this country like refuse and use candian tax payer money and get all the benefits Canada offers, but us on the other hand we pay taxes like normal citizen. Just ask this question to each and everyone.

6:52 I can tell you that most of the inmmigrants that come to Canada have alredy a Bachelors or even a Master Degree in there Country, the problem is that Canada doesn't want to valid those degrees, making imposible to them to get a higher level job, making them to earn a additional degree here

Mass immigration is a ponzi scheme and has many negative consequences, it drives up inflation, lowers wages, impacts culture and least talked about the brain drain in the country where these immigrants come from. Mass immigration is a bad solution to population decline.

I still believe Trudeau and jagmeet are trying to destabilize Canada. We have so many people who can and need to work, we don't want or need any of these asylum seekers they're not immigrants they're coming into this country illegally. A good amount of Palestinians wish to go outside of Palestine at least just during this war either to stay and keep their family safe or to go to the hospital or to eat and get a complete and proprr shelter. So i still believe that Arab countries (don’t come at me i’m in Morocco and I absolutely wish that my country gives shelter to the Palestinians ) have a responsability in welcoming Palestinians as war refugees then when it ends do their maximum to bring them back solidify their rights and reconstruct Palestine

I'm all for bringing in the 'skills & talent' with new immigrants. But these new Canadians must fit the criteria that Canada needs and they must come in through the legal system, be properly vetted and willing to abide by the laws of the land. Instead, what Trudeau is bringing in through open borders are freeloaders, people who take advantage of the welfare system and refuse to work. And many of them have long criminal histories. Some even insist on bringing their quarrels with them along with the hatred they harbour for other groups of people. Then they proceed to protest in the streets about what is going on in the countries they left and worse, they harass others on college campuses and elsewhere because they don't like their race, culture or ethnicity. We see it everywhere. And if we Canadians complain about it, we're called every name in the book. Not fair to Canadians. Not fair to those who are waiting in line to come in legally.

They keep saying we need people to fill all these vacant jobs. And we need all these skilled workers. The truth is that there are NO JOBS. The government is Lying. And these people coming into the country DO NOT HAVE ANY SKILLS. Many are going to school here to get an education/skills. The idea is that they return home after they finish school. But that's NOT happening. They remain here and take jobs away from Canadians. They get hired over those who are Canadian. We all know this to be true. In addition while going to school here they bring in their whole family. Now it's costing the Tax Payer to look after these people. Many are older and require Medical Treatment, drugs, surgeries, etc. Immigration does NOT stimulate the economy. It drains our finances leading to bankruptcy. We are fast being replaced and our culture is being dissolved. Just look at other countries where this has happened like Britain, Ireland, etc.

Mass immigration doesn’t work ! Immigration and integration go hand in hand . I have the most respect for those who want a better life ( hard under this government ) and realize that comes from hard work and good financial planning , these days it’s just open the doors and tax the tax payers to supplement a income for far to many who don’t have anything to add to the economy . I don’t care what your race is ! Where u come from is your ancestors , the first thing they need to do is ‘m become Canadian ‘’ , I could care less about your culture unless it intrigues me ! Work hard , make the same sacrifices that those who built this country did and then you should have a sense of being a Canadian

Leaving Canada??? Are you kidding me? If all these disillusioned immigrants are leaving, then why do us born and raised Canadians see every major city of ours being overtaken over by these immigrants, specifically the South and east Asian variety, in every single one of them? Here is statistic for you on one of them.....more than 75% of the people who live in Toronto, are from another country!! 75%, and Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, and every other big city we have are catching up to that percentage as we speak. I laugh my ass off when I when I see a tiny minority group like yours claiming that immigrants are leaving at a rapid pace. I suppose though it might appear that way to you if you were not born here to begin with and witnessed the massive change in our immigrant population over the past 30 years like us born and raised Canadians have. Dont get me wrong either. I am all for immigration and know how necessary they are to our successful economy and I do feel for the ones that try to make a decent living here but get pushed out for whatever reason, but to say that there is alot of immigrants leaving is simply not true by any measureable standard or why are there so many of you everywhere? Something isnt making any sense here and I know its not coming from us born and raised Canadians either!

Never mind values, they have caused the rise in rent and home ownership. It’s ridiculous the way they keep coming to the country. There is comfortable living for immigrants. So many of them are homeless. And greed driven landlords, realtors and banks are feeding off the people because there is no longer a choice.

I am shocked to learn that people coming on Tourist visa (from developing countries) to Canada can apply for Job here and once hired can change visa status while in Canada. Never have I ever heard about this while staying in UK on work permit for 4 years that UKBA /Home Office has ever approved such low quality visa that Trudeau is flexible about. Neither Harper's/Kenney's administration (under which I immigrated to Canada back in 2014) has ever approved such cockamamie change of visa status. This is unfair to those who paid all legal fees/been working hard and never relied on the benefits proposed by the Canadian..yikes!Turdo has made Canada into a 3rd world dump...

One thing I noticed you left was the fact that temporary workers are just that temporary. They have plans on staying here, because it is too expensive to live and mail order all their money back to their home countries. It is quite lucrative for them to make $15/hr (bunking with 6-8 others in an apartment) if they come from a country where 50cents/day is the going wage back home. But that money leaves the Canadian economy, dragging it down.

If you do not put strict quotas to countries like India and China, they will surely make sure Canada is India 2.0. Only the highly skilled, super smart people from those countries should be accepted the rest should not even be able to come via marriage. That is the only solution yet it might be too late for Canada already since even India's economy is doing better than Canada nowadays

This is the worst time and place to be in Canada. Very challenging job market, housing unaffordability, health care crisis, day care crisis. Basically, you wait three or four months to see a specialist doctor. You wait three or four months to get an ultrasound examination. It is worse than third-world countries. We all wish the truth before coming. Canada is a failing ship ?.

There are regular workers who walk this road into the country every day as well. This is very disruptive to them with their jobs. People will be trampled under foot and they don't care. They just keep coming. The only importance to them is where they want to go.

Students who come from certain countries (you know where) come to look for free food and free benefits from Canada. I work at a well known university and see them come for food bank the first day they landed. Even some came to complain that their grants got cut (of course, coz they never finish the thesis) and demanded for financial support as they need to pay for family expenses including car loan!! Wtf is car loan??? If you wonder where are these students from…you guess it’s right. We see them everywhere.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.\n\n\nTheir are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. If you are a legal immigrant then I feel sorry for you, this isn't fair. But if you're an illegal single male or female, you should go back. Right now is probably the worst time to come here. With global recession and post-pandemic hardship, everyone is feeling the pinch. Small businesses are closing down as they could not repay back the relief loans given by the government during the pandemic. Trudeau’s policy of immigration through the educational stream and admitting so many refugees from Syria and Ukraine have caused massive rent increase - too many people chasing after lower real estate supply. Because people are feeling the pinch, crimes are up and homelessness has become a serious issue. But, here are the (long-term) advantages of living here, vs. The Philippines:\n- free healthcare - no matter how rich you are back home, wealth can be depleted if a major illness strikes;\n- free education for your kids up to highschool and opportunity for your kids to enter worldclass universities after highschool;\n- government programs that actually work - Worker rights are upheld, doleouts when you lose your job, 12-month mat/paternity leave, doleout/govt match when you save for yr kid’s university educ, tax rebates for whatever you save for retirement, retirement income even if you never held a job, infrastructures are maintained, transparency and stability of political system; \n- safer environment - yes, greater crimes lately, but still one of the safest places to live. I live in greater Toronto, and sometimes we forget to lock our door at night or leave a bicycle outside and nothing happens;\n- commitment to the environment - the country adheres to protecting the envt. You can drink water from the faucet. Strict laws on recycling and waste disposal. Greenbelt protection on forest and conservation park areas, even in the cities. Canada also has the world’s biggest water supply...in today’s global climate change, were decades away from water wars;\n- a beautiful country with friendly, humble and relaxed people who observe work-life balance
