The government has welcomed in 1.2 million people from January 2023-2024. We cannot sustain those numbers, and even more disturbing, our new immigrants are from Asia and East Asia, and Africa, not from other countries off the world. While what u said is mostly true, I'd like to add that the top 10% indians dont immigrate to Canada coz the quality of life has degraded there.Your problem isn't too many indian immigrants, issue is too many underqualified indians. Don't allow just anyone to immigrate in your country. Allow only the best. Those who dont get into best Indian/ best US universities go to Canada.

Did immigrants not look in to things like this before wanting to live in Canada? I am going to be honest. All though I have lived in Canada 20 years ago. Felt very much at home. I also saw a country that is far from being better on the important topics for living a life. People want to immigrate go to countries where they can. In Denmark immigrants are not wanted, but is a more balanced country on most topics to live in if you want better. ???

The thing is, the employers of Canada do not really need immigrants. The government entities however need more taxable warm bodies and more outside financial resources, hence the misadvertisement “we will welcome you with the open arms”. Translation: Come here and we will suck you dry while you are hoping to make it here. It is a scam, but on a whole country level. Canada is a scam.

Here is the crux as I feel about it : Canada saw US making serious headways in growth due to its immigration policy. However, US scrutnizes like crazy whom they let in. I am immigrant myself living in Canada since 1981 it is too many Indians that for sure balance immigration is the best I do not like to see from one type of immigrants diversify.

Goes to show you how broken our immigration system is. They arrived in 2019 and its 2024 now and it has taken 5 years to process his case. This case should have been processed within weeks of their arrival and they would have been back in their homeland years ago.

There should be limitation/cap on number of applications of students/ PR from particular country.\n\nAustralia has banned international students' from Indian states: Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Gujrat and Jammu and Kashmir over alleged submission of fraudulent documents and high rate of dropouts. Most of these students make up the majority that are seen on streets protesting now. \n\nOur policy target is to import 1.5 million immigrants in 2 years. Based on survey 25 % are Indians that 375,000 additional Indian nationals over 2 years. If cap is not placed, Canada will lose it diversity. We do need Quality over Quantity.
