Massive unlimited immigration and more people are competing for jobs and affordable housing. Whenever you have an over abundance of anything you cheapen it. The same things are happening in most western countries. The chickens are coming home to roost and with more people competing for the slice of pie - it means that most people will have less and the quality of life diminishes

I’ve certainly never heard a debate in Ontario whether Toronto is better than Ottawa—-the whole video is absurd and sophomoric—Canadian universities have many ‘internal’ students? You mean ‘international’? There are positive and negative aspects of living in every province—overall Canada has an exceptional standard of living without the gun violence and religious fanaticism of its neighbour to the south ??

Pains me so deeply. I work at a Hotel. Without going into detail, we house so many refugees from Sudan, Nigeria, Ukraine etc. completely for free. They are all lovely people for the most part don't mistake my meaning, but I seldom hear of such programs addressing widespread actual Canadian citzen homeless housing, nor have any of the refugees at my Hotel been Canadian citizens born and raised who were granted asylum. \n\nThe other day I had to kick out a homeless gentleman from my hotel who was sleeping in the heated stair-wells. My manager instructed me to contact the non-emergency police number and get them to escort him out and/or possibly trespass him. He was compliant, not rude and understanding and wasn't causing any property damage or bothering anyone, nor consuming drugs or anything of the sort. It pained my heart and it reminded me of the risks I may face in the future considering how fucked the housing is.\n\n100%, and I mean 100%, of the new employees we've hired in the Hotel are Indian students here on student-visas, or refugees (many Ukrainians and one African lady). And 0% of the people being housed at my Hotel are Canadian born citizens. Disgusting mess of a country with all thanks owing to J.T.

I don't understand how the first man who spoke complaining about everything is not able to get a job on his own or do something instead of blaming immigrants, immigrants are the ones who do the dirty jobs that Canadians don't want to do, but still complain...If you are in that situation it is by personal decision, we all go through shitty moments sometimes and that doesn't mean we have to become resentful drug addicts of society, if you want a change it starts with you!

I’m surprised you never saw me. I’m homeless in a shelter and I hate this city.. well I hate all the cities like this. The people are heartless and sacred. The homeless are high and sad… I wander the streets like all day every day. When I have money I try to help the street people. Or I end up smoking weed on occasion. But there’s a lot of garbage and garbage people out there. I’m basically the rat king. I wander round doing anything I can. I’m pretty crazy tho I have bpd and doctors don’t really help anyone. I just live in the shelter and during the day I wander the streets trying to learn the city and help people. Sometimes I’m rude and angry and insane due to the state of the city and all I’ve seen. I yell and sing as I walk around just to hate everyone who is the average scumbag citizen. You know who I mean.. and I call them out on their bs. But only during my bpd episode or whatever. Otherwise I try to help all the street rats. But lots of them are helpless addicts like it’s hard to find the proper way to help. You gotta be careful who you help I suppose, because your good intentions of helping can lead to harming them. They end up buying drugs I guess sometimes. I am very easy to spot. I’m zooming down the streets. I usually walk so fast and everyone is so brainwashed brain dead slaves of society for real… they don’t care or help no one. I mean some do but it’s extremely rare…. I’ve probably walked literally everywhere you were. That park on Jarvis. I see those security guards lol they were dicks to you and definitely lied about not being on camera. I see them like almost every day. And all the other places. I slept outside a few times not often. I’ve been to all these spots I walk by them all the time it was crazy to see it all. That’s my life haha it’s awesome. I do the best I can and it’s definitely better than everyone else who has a job and a place like…. They’re all just selfish shallow heartless scumbags. Harsh truth. Population will always cause problems , Canada does not have the infrastructure to accommodate this many immigrants. Trudeau is a loser and he has single handily put Canada into a total crisis. I rarely see comments open on CBC... there must be a reason... hmmmm The fact that the Trudeau government (who owns CBC) is looking for an opinion means that it is FINALLY getting through to them that when immigration outpaces available housing you get a problem... when you do it by margins of millions of people you get a CATASTROPHY! EACH and EVERY new immigrant beyond the limits compounds the problem and if the Trudeau government does not stop it will destroy the Canadian economy if it hasn't already.

This is all Trudeau and Liberals scheme for immigrants to become Canadians within 5 years, so they will have more people who're likely to vote for them on a continuing basis, even if it means lowering the living standard of the rest of Canada.

Also for all those that feel a certain patriotism towards Canada, let's not forget that Canada is a very young country with not very much heritage and built on the genocide of indigenous people. Canada doesn't have a core identity... it is being made up as we go and as more people move here the more diverse this country will be, and being Canadian won't have any specific meaning

If Canada had a real labour shortage the wages would be very high to attract people yet there are few if any jobs and they pay minimum wage or slightly more.Another byproduct of a woke system is the incentive to work has been taken away.In the past men strived to make top dollar but since western women are undesirable there's no marriage or kids and no one can afford a house so men do the bare minimum or don't work at all.A man doesn't need to work 60 hours a week making 200k a year if he's alone so no need for that high stress job which means no need to go to college or university to get that job.Society puts down men and women claim they don't need men then everybody wonders why men don't join the military anymore this all starting to make sense now?

The Inmigrants leaving are most likely skilled Inmigrants compared to the new asylum seekers arriving in Canada without any skills. This means in the future we will have lots of people with no skills getting free money from the government making the economy slow down and costing more money for the tax payers . This is an issue to be addressed soon as we can see what’s happening in the US. \nMoreover Looking for a job in Canada as a skilled and educated immigrant is a hard task . You have to downgrade your education and skills to be suitable for the jobs . I got a masters degree and I had to removed from my curriculum in order to be considered for the job and not be overqualified. This is a common thing for skilled Inmigrants. This tells you a lot that being a skilled immigrant is not well recognized here in Canada
