I'm a vfx student completed my UG in 2023 Aug I have decided to study PG in Canada back in 2019 itself (as Canada is the largest hub for vfx industry) but gradually things are getting worse in Canada and now it affected my career because going to Canada is a very imp thing to me because courses that vfx courses that are in Canada are industry standard. I want to improve my skillset but the things are working against me ?

I think more muslims all over europe and western countries should follow ur example, u do not belong there and as evidently u put it u do not want to belong there, so kudos to you for going back to ur islamic culture!

Who on Earth would want to live here? We are such a depressing and failing culture and society. We have placed ourselves in a situation where nothing properly can grow here. Canada will get far more depressing over the next decades. I tell people all the time don't come here, you'll pay more than money for coming here. And I tell people, who are able, to leave. Find a better place to call home. Canada can't be home to people. Not with how we are easily dislodged, displaced and how everything around us is on fire and burning down. \n\nDon't come to Canada unless you're suicidal and want to die, or you happen to be super rich and you can make it. \n\nCanada will be losing many many Canadians in the future. Whether it's people leaving the country, whether it's people returning to their old countries, or whether it's people killing themselves off desperately trying to find solutions to problems. \n\nPlease don't come here people. \n\nCanada is a horrible place to live. And if I could leave here, I would. But alas I'm a very poor Canadian. So that leaves me with options of suicide later in life, at least Canada is getting programs together for that and the options become more accessible every passing year. If we are going to make a country filled with shit, we at least need to give options to people to leave instead of holding them to a slave system that goes nowhere.

First time i watch all. Nothing to do with me. But i am drawn to watch because i hate evil people who exploit others. Hope these young people in punjab think carefully and the parents should give their children better advise than wanting the best in a unexpected way for their children. I am sure there are many good uni in india. Why go so far only to be cheated

Its now impossible for a low to moderate income person to buy anything. The price of everything just keeps going up up up. Rent in this small town was 400/500 a month in 2015, that same place today runs 2 thousand,and for the first time ever I see, people living on the streets. The reason so many on the streets? Minimum wage 17.45 an hour, rent 2 thousand, do the math, do you want shelter or do you want to eat? We have the government thinking that the average wage is 70 thousand a year. How do they come up with that number, if you add the billionaires and millionaires to the equation the average worker looks to be better off. I would not recommend anyone to come to Canada.

Good information for the people who want to go to foreign countries

Islamic countries are failing because it doesn't work. Your challenge to praying is not important to non Muslims. If you want to be a full practicing Muslim then go to a Muslim country. Be poor because that what the Koran says. Be ignorant because that what it demands.

You don’t have to give any reasons for leaving, just do it! I’m sure no Canadian will try to stop you. You should encourage many other Muslims to go with you. Maybe you can go fight and help free Palestine, put your money where your cap is. I think it is a marvelous, wonderful ides, hopefully you can start a Caravan of other Muslims to go with you, and they can join you in this utopia you have created in your mind of this place where you are going. I’m sure Canada was perfectly fine before your great great grandparent, grandparents, or Parents decided that a Muslim country was not where they wanted to be, and what was best for them and their families, and fled from it. Good for you. I think what you are talking about many muslims are feeling. So my advice is find out where you are going and make it an easy place for muslims to get into despite their finances, then help others to do hijrah. Like to be a support. I am up for it. OK hear me out, I’m a Jewish American but I have always been quite critical of Israel especially in the last 3 decades under the Likud government it’s nationalism and imperialism, with regard to its settlements and attitudes to Palestine. That said… Every time we’re close to creating good world sympathy for a Palestinian state, the power-hungry radicals of the Palestinian people always somehow ruin the progress, taking advantage of a power vacuum, and it’s stirring up the people once again that Israel Has to be destroyed off the face of the map. Then on top of that, during peaceful times with momentum for a two state solution, something always ruins it, in this case it was Hamas, seizing power over Gaza with the statement that Israel needed to be destroyed. Then Israel made sanctions to try to make that government fail, but, of course, as we know, it only starved the people and made them angrier and then they did this awful, unspeakable, brutal attack. Hamas is still attacking to this day. If Hamas wants to cease fire, they need to also stop attacking Israel and come to the table and come up with a two states solution and accept Israel. Israel is of course going too far as they often do but it’s a tough call as to what Israel should really be doing right now, while their constantly under attack and threat from their neighbors in a very active way every day.

Nonesense... these people like to travel to prosperous places only.. if you look back.. these people would praise or like to go to the middle east when that country was prosperous.. after that they were going to the western countries like usa, uk, canada, and the europe...you can see huge migrations from all these muslism countries.. now these people want to come to India.. As much as he is right about the fact that the world needs to do more to stop the killings and getting the necessary aid in, i cant help but think that we will never know whether the palestinians actually want to stay in that land or to escape the fighting until the borders are open. We cant speak for everyone and surely not all palestinians are of the same opinion. Open the crossing and let those who want to go away from the warzone go and those who want to remain will stay.

FYI There are many religions in Canada. Why should one get special treatment? If you have to be called to prayer. then you are not praying because you want to but because you have to. Plus religions were created to control the masses. You don't need to go somewhere o pray, you can do it anytime anywhere when you want.

I have visited the United States many, many MANY, MANY times over the years. I've loved every single visit. The people are warm and lovely....some of your scenery and historic things were more than a joy to behold Would I ever want to move there ? Not even for a second. In fact, sadly, my husband won't even go back for a visit anymore. This is sad to me, but I understand where he is coming from. \nWas sad to say good-bye to our dearest friends who moved to the US, because the job pay and promotion was impossible to say no to. They lasted 2 months and settled for less pay and no promotion to come back home. They found it so weird, that all the new friends they made, thought they were freaks because they didn't own guns. The final straw was when they learned these people were packing when they came to summer barbeques. That was the final straw, and they high-tailed it home. \nIn recent times, a country run by someone I see as a loose cannon, psychopath...makes it a most emphatic NO.

I'm perfectly happy with Canada and being Canadian. My business is thriving. I don't own a house (i'm 50) and probably won't. They aren't good investments and both a recession and a housing crash are necessary to lower prices. \n\nLet me say something about the housing crisis - it's not immigration. Canadians are overleveraged. Many own second, third and fourth properties that they rent out. Once they have to renew into the teeth of higher rates you'll start to see a correction like what we saw in the 1980s. Couple that with higher unemployment and you have a recipe for a crash. Everyone wants lower house prices -- until we get them. Go try to renew your 600,000k mortgage on your million-dollar house that's now worth $800,000. \n\nHealth care is a problem - but where isn't it? The UK? The US? Many parts of the US are close to third-world countries. \n\nI'm happy here. The rest of the world seems bonkers by comparison. Go ahead and leave.

It's hilarious because universities are the biggest scam going and were made completely obsolete by technology about 10 years ago - in 2024, there's no reason at all (other than greed) why every student in the entire world couldn't log on to the same online classroom at Harvard (or pick your school). To take this point further, with a moderate amount of discipline (which, I'll concede not everyone has) you could learn almost anything you want to, for free, online.

As an international student from India at a top university with a scholarship, I found it quite odd when I go to the Tim Hortons near McgIll or literally any food shop in Toronto and found talking to the guy/girl taking the order in Hindi. I am like bruh wtf I went from India to mini India, wasnt studying abroad supposed to be a difficult prospect. The senseless immigration that happens through diploma farms, that only increase the population of unskilled immigrants needs to stop. Like Canadian healthcare is on the verge of collapse, cuz u dont have enough doctors yet you want 200,000 more TimHortons workers from Punjab. I do not understand this policy. \n\nI also question the impeccable brain power of the Indians who leave the comfort of their family and home (which imo has massively better healthcare system) to come here and then live a life of hardship due to not having proper education or just not having enough money.

we've gone from 30 million in 1997 to 40 million in June '23. 97% are immigrants. If the govt really wanted to control this housing problem, they should have started building apt buildings about 25 yrs ago. We're going to accept over a million immigrants this year....but the Feds are providing funding to build 65,000 houses in the GTA. Not apt buildings, .....single family houses. Even with MY math, i can tell that's not going to be enough...

The matter is more about making sure that Canadians who wants to go to post-high-school degrees shouldn't have to be drowned in debts in order to get the career of their dream. Foreign students are a good thing but not in a context where only the rich and privileged can go to university unless getting drowned in debts.

as an international student myself, I do believe canada NEEDS to work on in this situation, International students pay 5x the tuition and get exploited by these agents they have back home. Simply put, shut down colleges for international students and if you want to study get into a university and ACTUALLY study something rather than going to some diploma mills.

Basically, the euphemism Canadian experience is a polite way to shield in my humble opinion, a form of chauvinism and bigotry to cut out immigrants from connecting into the labor market and protecting the labor market for what employers consider real Canadians\n\nThe way the whole immigration system is work. No. I want to go to Singapore. There's literally nothing in Canada. It's freezing here & it's super expensive. That's just the plain truth. Greedy politicians only care about themselves, hence the sky high rents & taxes.

This country needs skilled immigrants who are going to positively contribute to the well being of the country not the open borders that we presently have. Any economic migrants who turn up at our borders and airports should be immediately turned around and sent back to apply through legal channels not taken to the nearest hotels and financed at the taxpayers expense. Once upon a time a person wanting to come here had to have a job lined up and a bank account before they were considered. The international students plan is rediculous and out of hand. Our own indigenous population and homeless should be at the front of the line before any others are considered.

Immigrant here. Way too many students brought in, in a short span of time. Exploited by the government, colleges and greedy landlords. The impact on middle class nieghbourhoods has been horrible, so many more cars, 12 people in a house, coming and going at all hours, reckless driving - NOT wanting to integrate or learn English even. The impact on cities is a huge unmeasured burden to the infrastructure: garbage, parking, roadways, demands on healthcare, insurance premiums etc…. What a complete mess Trudeau has done. Criminally incompetent.

We need to lower the number of temperary visas and completely get rid of the Landed Immigrant status. You want to stay here become a citizen, otherwise go home.

International students should be allowed to train and learn in Canada. That should not be a green light to immigration however. We need to go back to an organized immigration policy that accepts new citizens based on merit and who want to embrace Canadian culture, not erase it.
