Reading some of the coments to this and it seems theres not much compassion for your fellow human,

In war the civilians never want to leave their land but for their safety and they should leave until the war is over. There seems to be this push to keep civilians in Palestine because without them Israel will have no trouble taking Hamas out.

so why does the developed and western and few organizations seems to show or collect funds from around the world for refugees and take the burden to relocate them to Christian countries? ??

Why do you wish Palestinians to leave their land of their own to become refugees? Why do you seems happy and concern that Another nation should take in another nation. If you take the same energy to tell Isralis to stop the fight and killings that is best and humane. Hippocratical question.

I'd like to remind everyone of what happened in Syria in 2015 and the failure of the Arab world to aid Syrians in what was a brutal civil war that ultimately created a power vacuum and the galvanization of Islamic State. The Arab World rarely seems to rise to any occasion.

Might is Right. People seem to forget that part in this cruel world. The Palestinians will do whatever the strong says they will do, unless other strong entities will influence those agendas one way or another.

Israel has the right to safety and security in their own land, and Palestinians won’t let that be, so Palestinians seem surprised that when they refuse to let Israel be safe and secure in their own land, for some reason, Palestinians are no longer safe and secure in their own land. Gee, go figure?

Excellent answer. Palestinians have the right to live there period. It seems to me that someone wants them out so badly and is using media to spread propaganda and misinformation.

Palestine is not a country. It's never been a country. Palestinians are a combination of Egyptians, Jordanians, Syrians, and Lebanese arabs that were expelled from their countries and the British Mandate. The area of land you're referring to is not Palestine. It's Israel or, if you want to go back further, Judea and Sumaria. The people who rightfully live there, and have lived there for thousands of years, are happy to let others live there as well; as long as they're peaceful. Seems to be hard for some.

So no Arab countries are willing to take palestinian refugees, but other European countries that are not Islamic are. Why are Arabs even speaking about this, if they aren't willing to take them in? Seems weird, and more like political theater.

Just because their fellow Arabs refuse to take them as refugees doesn’t mean Israel loses the right to defend itself from the barbaric terrorist attack Hamas launched against them. \nAny other country would have the right to defend itself from terrorists that live at their borders. If Hamas cared about their citizens, they’d have a plan for them and their safety once they initiated this war on Oct 7th. But it seems like Hamas’s only plan for them was to be disposable pawn martyrs caught in between them and Israeli forces. \n\nYou can’t torture, rape and kill 1,400 Israeli citizens/foreign nationals and take 200+ hostages back to Gaza during a depraved terrorist attack and then cry ceasefire when that country declares war and is winning. Especially when you’re still holding onto hostages and not honoring the terms of the first ceasefire by letting the Red Cross see the hostages. \n\nIf these other countries cared about the Palestinians, they’d take any refugees that wanted to leave. They clearly don’t want to do that for some reason. They’re watching from afar with their popcorn, saying “isn’t it terrible what the Israeli’s are doing.. but we won’t let them come here to escape, which would let the Israelis fight this war with Hamas, who initiated it, without civilians in between.” With no mention of how Hamas as put them in the middle and isn’t protecting them. Also no mention of any responsibility Hamas has for bring this war onto them by the large scale terrorist attack, that includes hundreds of civilian hostages of all ages.

It may just be propaganda and mainstream media but why is it that the neighboring Arab nations who for the most part are wealthy always seem to not welcome the refugees within the region: Syrians fleeing Asad’s gases and violence + isis. And now the Palestinians being killed by Israeli government and military?

If he was really telling the truth, like no one seems to want to recognize on this comment thread they don’t want the Palestinians as refugees even for a temporary solution because they are so dangerous. No Arab nation has said that they would help. Why is that

Why didn’t he say that to the Muslims trying to claim Israel and destroy all Jews. What he did do was some basic side stepping & contradiction, most Arab countries hardly take refugees in many cases we have scene. Speaking well & politely with conviction is enough to fool a lot of people in the comments it seems.

I hate to say it but no wall will keep them out and we can't seem to train and hire enough border patrol and ppl to check and make sure the ppl coming in are good ppl... what if we. I see adds to go live in Canada all over here in Mexico, we all know its a trap, were far far far more comfortable and healthy here. I pay 20 dollars for 3 months of electricity and Im a video editor wich means the PC and the fridge are always on. Canada cant beat that and at this point just seems like a very long and complicated checklist to be selected to a worse life lol

So salary laws need to be addressed. Housing issues should be looked into and better integration of immigrants to local communities. These are all policies issues, human created peoblems, that can be resolved. There are already numerous solutions proposed by experts and other parties to solve those issues. Most of those could already of been solved. It's the will to solve those issues that seems to be lacking.

You never mention Montreal. I would have appreciated to compare the markets. Montreal is bigger than Vancouver. As far as making friends, your experience. seems limited to Toronto. As a Quebecquer who worked often in toronto,I could never create friendships. Again, very different in Montreal.

In my province healthcare is ostensibly nonexistent. Wait times at ER's are well over 12 hours and you're often directed to go home without ever seeing a doctor. \nThere is an extreme deficit of doctors. I've been waiting 6 years for one and there are people who have waited much longer with no relief in sight. \nHousing is unaffordable. A decent (nothing special) one bedroom 1 bath apartment is around 1600 a month and this is a largely rural province, not a metropolitan city. \nHomes are being bought as fast as they go on the market at extremely inflated prices by people moving here to escape the more populated provinces. This has raised property taxes by 20% in the last 2 years.\nThe economy is in shambles. Homelessness is exploding and the government seems uninterested in fixing it in any realistic or helpful way.\nFederal and provincial income taxes are nearly 50% of your income (44% for me and a bit more for my wife). So, what money you do make you get to keep a little more than half.\nElectricity is about 3 times what it is in the US and the rate here is increasing by 29% over the next 3 years.\nGroceries are unreasonably expensive and becoming more pricey by the day. Provincial sales tax is 15% on top of those groceries as well. \nThis is a short list of a few of the more glaring issues but there are far more. Canada has transformed over the last 5 years into a place I hardly recognize anymore. If something isn't done about it soon we'll be living in a third world country by 2030.

most provinces are big with lack of diversity = expensive to move and see other landscape ; last 5 years realestate and cost of living gone bonkers - everywhere in the world it went up but canada definitely was one of the most significant- even with rise of salary its not as good anymore… fairly average health or care system - average political standing in world ( india china in a pinch usa 100% while usa doesnt seem to be canada 100% ) but we have lot of ressources tho costly to operate and not nature friendly - other than that - its a good country and better than most overall and a country you van have opportunities for sure but its not a paradise or eldorado

I'm not from Canada, but you seem like very nice people that have accepted record immigration from one major source for a long time. I might be viewing it too simply but I'm not sure it's as complex as many of these videos make it out.

People are evil… they seem to be asking a very humane question as if they are actually caring about Palestinians however are we really sure they don’t have another intention in their mind as this man in the video predicted such intention as well? This issue seems more like a Vancouver issue; not all Canadian cities are like this. Vancouver has consistently been one of the most expensive cities globally.

I was shocked going back last year visiting family in Vancouver. I noticed it was a big ask to get people to go out and do things like a movie or bowling. People seemed to be talking about money issues alot in general conversation.

THERE ARE favored immigrants though, Ukrainians are not hurting living here. actually they are taking Canadians jobs, even in service positions, but for a lot of students that is how they live. but when employers are offered incentives to hire an immigrant, Ukrainian for example, they may be getting subsidized wages. Febs really seem to take care of the non brown or minority immigrants. just an observation that seems to be happening more and more. it is sad for the Ukrainians because i think they don't know the silver spoon from Trudeau is handed to them. they probBLY think all immigrants have a red carpet but no not at all. not for the brown immigrants, they have to struggle like all our immigrants over past decades before Trudeau, all immigrants worked their way up here. i have just heard from young people who have suddenly been cut hours at work to make way for a ukrainian with no experience on the job to take the Canadians job
