Watched a recent documentary shot in India and the Indians are clearing out, with the US being their top choice. I recall it being a documentary on the Chinese diaspora in India, and even though the Chinese numbers have massively depleted they are becoming the majority in the area the documentary was shot. I think they made leather goods.

I was raised in Guelph ON, and I loved my childhood in Canada. My friends were white, Sikhs, Bosniaks and Vietnamese, I loved how diverse and welcoming Canada was. At 12 my mother had to stay in the hospital, quick admission, everything free, great doctors and free meds after. That is the Canada I remember.\nAt 16 we moved to NY, life was harder at first. I joined the US Navy to get ahead in education and move away from NY. As time went on I made a good life for myself, married and got a nice condo. My mother got married and made a good life for herself too. \nNow 22 years later, every single one of my friends from high school moved to the US 'cause they could, not one person said they wanted to live in Canada. I still consider myself a Canadian with the Canadian values *I* was raised with, but the Canada of my youth is gone it seems. Honestly make me sad.

Back in my days, our parents would beat the shit out of us if we did something bad. It's funny on a Travel Group on Facebook. Many people might ask how the Liberal government issued so many study and work visas to young Indians, who don't have any particularly outstanding qualifications. It is because they allowed colleges to accept students and some of these colleges were created for the sole purpose of collecting high tuition fees, which wealthy Indians gladly paid for as it gave them a chance to live in Canada and apply for permanent residency. Trudeau (like Harper, incidentally) wanted to win Brampton and the surrounding areas so as to be able to form a government. These ridings could easily flip to Conservative, unlike others in Quebec or BC. Voters in these battleground areas were believed to be willing to vote Liberal, if they could have some representation in Ottawa, especially in cabinet. Even as a member of this diaspora, I think courting this population like this was a huge mistake. \n\nIn the post-war II period, the immigrants that came from Canada, were highly qualified, scientists, engineers, architects -- you name it, that had jobs waiting for them at universities and tech firms. If they were students, they came into Ph.D. programs fully supported with stipends. This generation helped Canada tremendously and made Canada a leader in crop science and microbiology research, just to name an example. Today, many here on student visas are working at Tim's or delivering Amazon packages, or even driving trucks without proper training.

So I’m an immigrant who arrived from Poland as a child. What made me quickly integrate and become Canadian was the absence of ethnic enclaves. I grew up in social housing, which sucked, but it was with a tonne of Portuguese, El Salvadorians, Colombians and a few Somalis in my hood. The thing is, there was no dominant group, and thus we all had to live together, communicate in English, and adopt universal values and lifestyles that all those groups had in common, rather than those of my home country. I feel these new generations won’t have that same experience.

well I have to say that this video is yet another white man complaining how the country is when they sat and watched it happen over the past 20 years. BOO Hoo you're the minority now sucks don't it. My families from Asian is planning moving to Canada because i wanted my kids getting new experiencs of their study in Canada and i heard of good health care system. I and my husband with a daughter and a son. Hearing all these concerns made me worried more of future living there as immigrants. Can you advise if i should move to Canada?

Poor guy. My heart goes out to the delivery driver. He is super patient. What is wrong with this customer? Did the customer think taping this we were going to side with his abusive behavior toward the delivery man? I agree the delivery driver should have a change of at least a $20, but that does not give the customer the right to speak to him this way. He wants to make a clown of the delivery driver but he only made a clown out of himself.

Here i will share with you a real and most resent experience i have encountered two weeks ago.\nThere was a well advertised job fair held at the Vancouver downtown campus of the community college. The job fair was organized by work BC\n Out of curiosity i went there. There was a massive line of students and immigrants ranging from the age of 20 + to 40 +\n\n I would think that most people in line were at the very least grads of VCC ( Vancouver Community College) which offers now diploma programs training and even 4 years bachelor and professional degrees. I spoke to several people while in line they were immigrants with Canadian MBA , some had engineering digress and yet were jobless. BY the time we made it to the job fair room ( it took us nearly 2 hours of waiting) and that is where shock started. There were literally 6-7 shitty unknown employers from tiny small businesses that were offering nearly minimum wage jobs. \nThere were no banking recruiters, no business companies, no engineering or social services, nor tech companies or health care reps ! This is clearly an ample proof of the politically constructed myth about a supposedly shortage of labour and high hiring needs of the companies !

They all should have been made to adapt to our rules and laws. Not bring there own. We can’t if we where to move to there country!!!! So sad that Trudeau sold us out. Can’t hardly stand out country now!!!

It’s not Indians who were need to blame. It’s the government who made that easy, people in Canada needs a change in government.
