I really feel badly for those people. I really do. I’d do the same thing if I were them. But… we cannot just let illegals in our country that pay no taxes, and will also export U.S. dollars back “home” to their extended families.

Charity begins at home and ends abroad. Let them fix their own country and whatever's going on there 1st. We cannot take on any more people into this country. We have a crazy amount of homeless people, people that are veterans; that don't even get adequate housing or funding. Yet they think that they can come over here and just do whatever they want. Meanwhile the actual citizens of America are paying X amount of dollars in taxes which are steadily increasing year by year due to situations like this. We need to fix our own country first.

We have to help our own people that are here in the US that are struggling before letting any new immigrants in!! I understand that people want to come to the US for freedom and for better jobs and a better life.... BUT OUR GOVERNMENT CAN BARELY HELP OUR OWN CITIZENS!! What are they gonna do if they do get to the US? They can’t get a job, they can’t rent an apartment or buy a house let alone a car. And what are we just gonna give them free housing and food? Americans struggling for housing? 95% of your country is probably unoccupied land. The Us government really is trash, literally every person for themselves in the land of the ‘Free’. The biggest problem with this, it vetting. Why? Anyone that comes to a another country and does not follow the process of security, should do their best to get vetted. If no vetting, we will be letting people into the country that drains the country of monies for it's own people, allows criminal minds into the country and worse, someone that just want to comes to a country because it has Welfare.

I once had the opinion that every country should mind their own business. But with hordes of refugees wether due to war, dictatorships or poverty it's everyone's business. And humanity demands not being ignorant and let people die. So we have to figure out and fix issues even in foreign countries

Exactly the same thing here in England.. but we have so many snow flakes over here that want to keep letting thousands in.. then complain that half the countries on benefits, the NHS is stretched beyond belief and housing is running out fast.. there has to be a time when we simply say no sorry. And as stated below running from one country to another is not the answer, these people need to talk to their elected leaders and sort out their own countries so they are worth living in… plus I could not rock up to americas borders or any other country around the world and demand to be let in, but not only let in then taken care of financially and housed! I feel bad for these people but I understand that America ?? should protect their country and people too. They should follow the proper process of entering to the US. I can guarantee you that if we had responsible voting laws in this country just as simple as having an ID and proving American Citizenship, we wouldn’t be having this problem.
