It's post-COVID and post-Tory fall out. As well as meddling by Ford. Maybe Chow will make a difference, but the issues stem from chronic under funding and mismanagement going back a long time, so who knows. Feds and province need to stop undermining Toronto's infrastructure and see it for how important it is for the country as a whole. Yeah, I know the joke about being the centre of the universe but having lived in various places across the country, the economy and population of Toronto DO make it very integral to the whole country.

Those that come and regret without researching are just dumb. Maybe you should research about the country you are migrating to. Migrating to a country is big step/next chapter of your life

I like to leave Canada but I don't know where to go maybe Dominican republic

There is SO much wrong with the optics of this... Why does Team Trudeau keep making these awkward photo-ops instead of doing the RIGHT THINGS? Maybe the first and ONLY time he worked WITH Conservatives .. instead of name calling ! Maybe Craig Fergus can reach out to the CRTC to spell out EXACTLY what Liberal rules should be enforced with C-11 censorship of people's internet content !

Canada and refugee status is something else. Maybe the process is taking too long. And thus frustrating kenyans over there.

Maybe this whole thing was cooked up?

This is vastly missing the point that for every legal immigrant to the US it has 20 illegal immigrants. That too is a choice and maybe a bad one but it needs to be discussed.

From what I read and watch about Kenya, it is a beautiful country with hardworking smart people, The country is developing faster than maybe expected, I think the government is more stable and progressive. I am impressed with the politicians and leaders in Kenya. They are not perfect but from where I am they are doing the best within the circumstances May God bless Kenya , the whole African continent and the whole world ❤

Really? I doubt it. Maybe people are just tired of living 3/4 of the year is pure snow. Canada is totally cold.

I think it's a matter of where someone's blessings are. We have people who go there and are successful and probably live there, we have those who go there maybe for further studies but end up working in their home countries. We have others who don't go there at all they make it in life in their respective countries. I think one thing that people need to figure out is , if this dorbst work, what else can i do and where else can I go before I waste so much time on something that is not working. \nSi ata wewe Lynn ulikua majuu and here you are living your purpose in your own country...\nSo people should gree to make changes especially their beliefs that when you go to Canada you must make it there and therefore you stay there for so long and by the time you realize that place ain't for you, you've wasted so much and you start regretting..

Same here in Montreal used to love this city still do but post C19 everything changed like everywhere housing crisis, politics, the cultural center it user to be changed maybe its just looking at it now at the start of my 30s compared to when i moved here from Europe and Central Africa at the start of my 20s. Met friends i have for life, got great professional opportunities lived in nice places great food in the city. Now everything is just super expensive now and i know toronto is must be ever crazier. Im considering moving back to France or Switzerland to be closer to my family and friends and also be close to Gabon easier to visit than here constantly taking 4 plains round trip everytime i go back home. After losing my father last year getting divorced 3 years ago i think my time here is done. 14yrs here i became an adult here had amazing experiences, became a canadian citizen but its just not the same anymore. Time for a new adventure somewhere else. We used to live well even back as a student on minimum wage, now with a better career good salary we’re struggling. Breaks my heart seeing this all over canada.

Alina -- you say you'll work remotely -- but does that mean you'll no longer look for acting and modelling work? Are you happy with that? And perhaps Acting & modelling work is not plentiful anywhere so you're smart to change careers ... If you can't get that kind of work in Toronto, where else in Canada is it available? Or maybe that kind of work is tied up with who you know?

This how United States gonna look like when they cut everyone's income and food stamps there gonna be at the white house just like this maybe worse.

I used to live maybe a block away from where you used to live in Toronto, I moved to a different city around the time that Rob Ford became mayor I can’t remember what year that was. We couldn’t afford to stay in Toronto after our landlord sold our unit and the new owners wanted to live there, so we moved to a more affordable city. I was really shocked at the massive increase in the number of homeless people in the city that weren’t able to find space at a shelter, I had to ask my sister if I had missed news of a reanimated occupy Wall Street movement, because that was the last time that I had seen that overwhelming a volume of displaced people camping in the parks. I hope that some sort of solution can be found to massively increase the quantity of safe warm and free to the occupant shelters in Toronto before winter.

i'm might be thinking 100% to move to Calgary, Alberta. it's more affordable. maybe you should move there to Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta as well. you'll save money a lot or move to Halifax, Nova Scotia if that's affordable too.

Funny how at around 9 minutes of the video they show a graph of cities in Canada comparing minimum wage vs what you need to make to rent a 2-bedroom apartment, yet Montreal, the second biggest city in Canada by far at 4.2 mil people (metro area) is not even in the graph! Is Montreal that much better that it won't even make that list or the news just snubbing the city? Or maybe they know Montreal is just cheaper, nicer, with much less crime and it would just make Toronto look bad! ;-P

f****** invasion wonder what they did in the old days when people invaded another country's borders will they just try to reason with The Invader and tell him go back or did a rain down Hellfire Spears and arrows collect them know they cross this border maybe a price to pay I don't know looks like kind of reason humane is kind of soft today and results are evident look at that army of Invaders just walking on through

I’ve lived here for 11 years now and over the past 3 years, my perspective has changed. I am REALLLLLY looking at how I can leave, what other cities are out there for my industry/ if there are career opportunities else where. It’s sad because I love this city. I wouldn’t be who I am, if I never moved here. But things change and maybe it’s time to move forward

If I stood to get free housing.. free medical..free food ..and free of taxes ..I'd prolly want to push thru this too...maybe if we stop giving them our peoples benefits ..they won't want to be here

Reading through the comments becomes depressing when you realise maybe 1% of viewing adults actually understand what is important about these stories. People nowadays have a lot of opinions but seem to be completely lacking of any maturity.

Media presenter Indian, this maybe propaganda video

You have to gain over 100k to afford a living here… Infrastructure is very bad with long commuting hours and transit worst in Canada. It’s very widespread and there is nothing to see in the city itself expect if you love skyscrapers… The only reason people move here is due to job and salary if you are really an indispensable professional with a career, more welcoming and open to immigrants and apart from that nothing to do there… very crowded.. unsafe.. and you don’t really experience the vibe of the city like maybe Montreal that has its own downsides as well!! But its worth a try if you have that desire for some change in your life considering those caveats above.

I'm sorry but I really hope border patrol has enough ammo. We have an unknown Number of Unknown aliens from unknown countries that are physically storming our Borders it is without regard to proper immigration.\nDon't you think it's time to push back?\n\nFinish the wall\nSecure our borders \nQuit trying to save the world \nThey have shown they don't appreciate it, they expect it.\n Work to end the evils at home and then maybe we can help the world.

india only copying and doing what the cia been doing for decades in other peoples countries...get used to it. saudi arabia was way worst...they tortured their targeted guy and then dismembered him...maybe while he was still alive wow. at least india agents make it quick and relatively painless.

I found myself asking this question, is this a strategy to push people out of Toronto? Why that! Maybe because the density is so high comparing to what the city can handle. Meaning, the existing services, like restaurants, public transits, hospitals, residential areas, schools, ...etc are still small and not scalable to welcome more people, so instead of telling people to not to come, cheap strategies are being used instead ? Just a question I'm asking I'm not saying it's it ?

Didn't Trudeau say he has evidence on the other previous murder. Maybe he has more evidence on this one too . Cause he is friends with these terrorists

My question is Ups and Downs is normal when you examine the history of any country. Then why leave the country? If you ever live in a developing country and see their problem you will find Canada better, at least it has something going good like good infrastructure, security, great companies to work for. Why you guys made me think that maybe you guys are spoil brat who just can't deal the struggle, and everything needs to be just perfect.

And the mysterious deaths continue maybe the wanted fugitives from other countries will realize Canada isn't a safe haven for them anymore

All of those condos springing up in Toronto are IMMEDIATELY scooped up by investors for rental or just sit empty for investment. Maybe only 10% are purchased by owners who actually live in them. This is just ONE of the problems going on. Furthermore, many condos are scooped by foreign or corporate investment or their extended family to get around rules.

I , as a South African will never be able to cope in that weather ever. May God keep your stronger. Do u drink enough water ? It helps when u have headache or maybe u stressing too much

If Indians don't like Canada then maybe it is time to go back to India.

It's not just Toronto, almost all large cities in North America are in the same, or worse, shape. When I drive down to Seattle now, I carry a pistol. It's gotten so damn dangerous. You know, when I look at your face in this video, I see you as beautiful. For what it's worth from an old guy like me. And do be careful! Maybe take some martial arts, even just a little.

So Canada is a mess right now, coming from someone who was born here and has 4 generations if history to lean on. There was 2 million people let in over the past 2 years and suprise, surprise there is a housing shortage, inflation is running rampent and our debt is the higjest it has ever been. Homelessness is out of control, as is our cost of groceries. Unless you work for the goverment you have not seen a raise in 5 or maybe 7 years. Our genius goverment feels the answer is more immigration. Basically fuel for the fire

Maybe Canada's government should quit harboring extremists.
2023-09-22 4
Trudeau: who did this?\nPolice: Indians??. Maybe ...\nTrudeau: That's pretty credible! Let me say that in parliament.
2023-09-22 0
Lol maybe we should start blocking Indian IPs... the Modi simps are out in force once again ?

maybe someone decided to make canada safe again

I've been living in Toronto for over thirty (30) years with a little two years try in Halifax, which didn't work due to the lack of meaningful jobs.\nWhen I arrived here in the late 80th I was very impressed with all the services provided and the speed to see medical professionals.\nI'd spent almost 10 years without a family doctor since my first one retired, and now I'm fortunate enough to have one who is so busy that I have to wait months for an appointment.\n\nIt is painful to notice that already paid services are disappearing and how dirty and dangerous this, once an amazing city, is today.\n\nI'm retired now just waiting for my wife to do the same to move out of this country, with the hope that our very low combined pensions will be enough to live somewhere else.\nMoving out of the city, even out of the province, it is not an alternative since anywhere out of here, includes having a car with all the expenses that this include.\n\nSad reality for retirees and specially for young couples with children in tow.\nSoon we will see this beautiful country devoid of human qualified presence to support all the neglected refugees that are coming.\n\nWho knows, maybe this is a new experiment on how so many homeless people can survive the harsh winter.\nGreetings from Toronto.

Great points in this video. I would love to see a video where you recommend some other places to live based on your experience! (In Canada and elsewhere, maybe!)
2023-09-20 0
Since you speak Russian, then maybe you could try Moscow. No homeless or crime there.
2023-09-20 0
Exactly my thought Chorkor...\n\nIf those Canadians or north Americans can just visit Nigeria for 3 months to live, their mindset will be changed and they will better appreciate why thousands are willing to perish in the sea just to have a future and maybe, they can pressure their leaders to stop welcoming African leaders to their shores and make them face doing what they were elected to do in their respective African countries.

Purchasing power of our dollar got a lot worse from 2020 money printing (FED in america), we are still feeling the consequences of it, maybe until end of this decade.
2023-09-19 0
Well, maybe we should stop taking refugee and put resources on taking care Canadians first...\nIgnore reality and virtue signaling help no one and this is the result.

*To think of it maybe they are turning people away on holidays. When I was coming back from ghana it was on a holiday which was July 1. Canada day and they sent back a lot of people back to there countries. But I still wouldn't recommend taking Egyptian air at all. I had a horrible experience.*

ALINE .... totally a reasonable decision to get out of there, I visited in 2015 and it was still a nice place.\nYou have so many other better options\nDidn't your mother live there, is she still with us ? Maybe you can move her to Curitiba ?\nI am nearby and find it difficult to move back the the US but might try it in a year to see what happens, little boring for me after 5 years here in Brasil\nAm seeing rental costs dropping to pre covid and lower rates in S FLA now, can rent for $800-1,000 a month vs what is was not long ago $1,700 +

Ireland is going the very same way. We have a huge housing and homeless problem here now. Maybe it's a symptom of selfish capitalist greed. I love Toronto and Vancouver, but would never be able to afford to live there.?????
2023-09-19 0
Hi Alina! Great video and very informative. Never been to Toronto but would like to visit it maybe for a week or two one day. The things that are going on in Toronto are also going on in most all of our US cities now as well and it's just a shame.

Why have so many canadians become stabbers? What you are describing about Toronto is meanwhile all over Germany going on too... The mainstream media in cooperation with most politicians is seriously telling us, that germans have become more violent and foreigners committing crimes are often tourists too, which of course is absolute BS. But, we never had so many stabbing, gang rapings with 8 or more men raping underage girls and other woman, abuse of KO-Drops young man attacking police and ambulances, drugdealers near schools etc. before 2015... That canadians that are so happy abt refugees can maybe come to Europe and take some more to Canada. In the last 3 days 10.000 young african men arrived in Italy by boat, and non of the people here wants them really plus hundred thousands of arabs and afghans and millions from the ukraine. It is normal that the whole system will implode soon like the Titan... Best wishes from the Bananarepublik of Germoney!
