why would any person with a brain move to Canada it seems like hell on earth. Everything extremely over priced its not that great its what America has been going through for years just on a larger scale. The Liberal party has turned Canada into sh*thole. Canada was built on immigrants but the system has been completely overloaded and taken advantage of. If there is a big population of a particular group immigrating to a particular country means a few things. The country who is accepting that many people must be very desperate for immigrants or, the immigrants might be desperate to leave their country b/c the standard of living in their home country must be very bad.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. I'm Indian but not born in India for 3 generations and even in my country, the Indian/Paki immigrants are just coming in droves. There's a distinct culture difference. It's like 10 or 15 years ago, the Indian government opened the gates and said OK, you can go now... Brampton is Indian Punjabi majority city. India has many religions and cultures but majority in Brampton are from Punjab region of India mostly Sikh and Hindu. For last 2 years, lot of students came from India and most likely they will return to India after studies are done. This is total fault of Canadian government for allowing so many people of same ethnicity, I have no idea how their quota works. Indians leaving India in droves due to better opportunities for them, as well, the high amount of corruption with their government at all levels. This is directly from the co-workers I work with. Canada immigration is letting far too many people who shouldn’t be allowed here. Many of my Indian friends will vouch this as well. They all left Brampton to pursue other cities across Ontario. They agree, many undesirables back in India have come to our shores, with money laundering and crime. Canada literally needs an army of people to start deporting those who have lied on their documentation, add little value to our economy or country.

I don’t think there would have been a Brampton if majority of white Canadians were welcoming to brown people irrespective of their nationality. Integration is only possible if there is a willingness to interact with new immigrants. This is not to say that immigrants who commit crimes shouldn’t be booted. There is an inherent problem of selective racism based on the skin colour in the Canadian society which is felt by the new immigrants and is the only reason they find comfort in their own people and stay together. Also, government should put a cap on the number of immigrants from one country like the US has done.

When I passed my Post Graduation in 70' s from London University ( in Engineering) Canadian Embassy gave me Visa and One way ticket for free. While I was in Embassy waiting .. I saw some colorful journals and green in summer mounds of snow in winter. I had grown up Central Indian Climate. 5 years in England still kept me alienated environ cold weather and Culture. Most disturbing was visible Brown skin foreigners for ever.....at 2nd tier of Society ,..... after getting 4 month Valid visa I started probing fron friends who had earlier migrated to Canada. Living, impediment of long very cold winter, 1970's Canada was still racist and Parliament had strong bill waiting to stop colored immigrants and keep country white...Then in 1975 the Bill was voted down. For the reason that old white generation was aging and demanding Pension and Health Care. Welfare Chest was showing bottom and had to be replenished by tax money. Young tax payers were needed. India, China and Black Carribian were overflowing with young workers...so they had swollow Colored immigrants. Country was the largest but most commercia cities are at border of America, because north is brutal cold. Canada could not build population. 30m (10% of USA.) And Economically behind CA$= 0.80USD. Let the Visa expire...and went back to my old country to Start my Consultancy office. Lived in upper middle class tier and retiring with comfortable cushion to survive . Saw the whole world during past decades of active life... Including Canada US China . Don't regret living among brown people where my roots are. No body looks at me as colored foreigner. Canada, unlike the US, was always more of a salad than a melting pot. Many separate ingredients in one bowl. It wasn't that long ago that Canada was dealing with the Quebecois issue. Beyond that, there are issue with First Nations relations. To expect Canada to be a melting pot is too much. It's a country primarily of English speakers, a large number of French speakers mainly concentrated in Quebec, First Nations people, and then European immigrants who in a generation or two become more basic English-speaking Canadians. You can't expect more than that form Canada. This is not even addressing how Chinese Vancouver is. That's another ball of wax.

The group that is not living fine are the people who are on drugs and govt money. Indians dont, they are not on govt system. They work hard and live better of who dont like to work. That is government is getting them in. Moral is white population should get ready to work. They should train their future generation to work hard, so that govt wont call immigrants to work.

Many people might ask how the Liberal government issued so many study and work visas to young Indians, who don't have any particularly outstanding qualifications. It is because they allowed colleges to accept students and some of these colleges were created for the sole purpose of collecting high tuition fees, which wealthy Indians gladly paid for as it gave them a chance to live in Canada and apply for permanent residency. Trudeau (like Harper, incidentally) wanted to win Brampton and the surrounding areas so as to be able to form a government. These ridings could easily flip to Conservative, unlike others in Quebec or BC. Voters in these battleground areas were believed to be willing to vote Liberal, if they could have some representation in Ottawa, especially in cabinet. Even as a member of this diaspora, I think courting this population like this was a huge mistake. \n\nIn the post-war II period, the immigrants that came from Canada, were highly qualified, scientists, engineers, architects -- you name it, that had jobs waiting for them at universities and tech firms. If they were students, they came into Ph.D. programs fully supported with stipends. This generation helped Canada tremendously and made Canada a leader in crop science and microbiology research, just to name an example. Today, many here on student visas are working at Tim's or delivering Amazon packages, or even driving trucks without proper training.

Barring a few the only Indians that would be accepted through Canadian immigration are the skilled professionals. That's literally the criteria, why are people surprised they are doing better than average ? \n\nI am Indian and I have a luxury car because I worked my @$$ off for 10 years, 9-12 hr every workday as an engineer to get my half a million salary. While all of these so called better people lazed and partied the f around. If you want to throw me out, that's fine, but return the millions of dollars in taxes I've paid.

As someone that lives an hour outside of Toronto it honestly disgusts me and angers me to see how many immigrants and “new Canadians” are living a better and more prosperous life then the actual people who work their asses off and contribute to society. Being an Indian in Halifax, I try to speak, behave and live like a Canadian does. I assimilate. That said, this video is a racist dog whistle.
