Before Canadian create a standard for foreign people want to migrate to Canada in terms of point system which involves education and other criteria in order to process application but now people are bypassing the system to easily come to Canada it took me 3 years before my application got processed why now just on student status can start apply for a job isn’t it the main purpose was to get education not job for Canadians. Who really fuck up on allowing this people come to Canada and mostly from India????

It's a double edged sword. The industry (fast food, food retailing, services) WANT those people, be it international students, refugees or other to work because there is insufficient response from the local population of young people. Even certain restaurants and hotels had to remain CLOSED after the pandemic, because they could not find enough people to work. The government covid money dissuaded the local population from working. It is a huge mistake to admit so many Indian students attending low-credentialed private colleges and then allow them to work 20-30 hours a week. Trudeau and Miller are to blame for this. But at the same time, there was a labour shortage due to the ageging population and the fact that people have fewer kids today. Canada should give greater priority to trained professionals in areas where there is a need, such as construction, education and nursing. People in India, China, eastern Europe and other countries can get very good training in technical colleges, but it is the wealthy families in these countries that don't want their kids working these jobs.

Canada, no longer has Canadians, but has become a country filled with residents. The biggest impact we now see is money made here by immigrants is leaving the country. Generally, every dollar made and spent here generates another 8 dollars in a healthy circular economy. If immigrants also can't afford new homes, they'll just send money back \nhome and leave asap!

Why has canada embarked on this path of mass immigration ? And why USA did the same ? And why Europe did the same before us ? I am almost out of words. It make no sens. I live in GTA for a decade, and I have never experienced any hate. My wife wears hijab and she is welcome everywhere. If you want to leave Canada that your choice, and nobody is going to stop you! Based on your statement, I feel you should live in Saudi Arabia. In case you feel residency is the problem, better marry with one more Saudi woman and then sponsor your existing wife too!

There is NO INNOVATION in Canada. Why will investors pump money into Canada when there is no value creation happening? What has Canada created or innovated in last 30 years that has had any impact on the world; and on top of that they are giving billions in aid to foreign countries... Where is this money coming from? My friend from Thailand got married to a Canadian man and they lived in Canada for almost 12 years. However, due to the high inflation and cost of living in Canada, they decided to move back to Thailand. As a result, they sold their house in Canada.

Where do people migrate onwards to? I wouldn't want to go back to my home country. Life is even more unaffordable there than it is in Canada.

Students who come from certain countries (you know where) come to look for free food and free benefits from Canada. I work at a well known university and see them come for food bank the first day they landed. Even some came to complain that their grants got cut (of course, coz they never finish the thesis) and demanded for financial support as they need to pay for family expenses including car loan!! Wtf is car loan??? If you wonder where are these students from…you guess it’s right. We see them everywhere.

Biggest scam in Canada is family doctor.\nThey get paid in 2 ways, 1. by number of patients or 2. by number of visits.\nMost family doctors choose 1. Meaning they have say maximum quota of 2000 patiens per year. This means less time you spend with patients you have more free time. This is why most family doctors are careless with patients and prefer younger and healthy patients. They wont accept older or someone who is umhealthy.\n\n2nd is the food chaine, its dominated by 3 big industries, they control the price to maximize the profit. \n\n3rd is the tipping. 18% minimum everywhere you go, and this is after your tax deducted money.\n\nyou need to make at least 250k to live comfortably in canada, assuming you have no or very low mortgage.

I strongly urge my Canadian born children to seek opportunities in the US once they finish university. Canada is no longer a land of opportunity that it once was.
