The hipocresy of American politics is just too much, on one hand they will give you the idea of resolving the border issue, on the other some work to get money in their pockets by cartels and other criminal organizations worldwide like isis, and on the other killing the economy by not making the illegal immigrants work like Florida. I mean is a mess, not one sided like many people see on here, the root of the problem is so much deeper and it involves a lot of things sadly :/\nJust hoping everyone will be okay for the times to come and know who the real enemy is (hint: is not these people who are desperate like others in the country). My dad and his brothers all joined the armed services. All branches except for the coast guard. Several done multiple tours. retired out and ended up in private sector working for the armed services… it’s crazy how times have changed and now immigrants expect you to let them walk right in…. Immigrants have more “rights” and “programs” to help them succeed and contribute to the American society than those born here. Problem is a large percentage aren’t coming here to seek a better life. They work and send everything home for their families to live better in that country. Or commit violent crimes and burden the state even worse. If a politician supports a vetting process then they are deemed “racist”. Fact is America is moving backwards. Won’t be long before you see crowds like this trying to get out.

I hate to see Mexican Americans working in law enforcement to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country like legit if it was up to me I don’t have a problem with it but I can see why our country has issues with that due to the economy misbalance that can occur. At the same time those cops are just doing there jobs just like me and you. But who knows maybe they let one or two slip obviously not everyone.

Make it easier to come in. If you're homeless, you need to also help yourself. I've been homeless before. Now I'm not. Stop blaming your homeless on everyone, but yourself. Take some accountability. The issue is the people are scared of the government in South America and Mexico and because of that of course they’re going to try and flee so here’s the solution we invade Mexico and South America. And turn their government into how are government works that way the people of south America and Mexico will have individual liberties and will be protected from their government by a constitutional republic like we have in America Also allowing regular citizens to be able to defend themselves is critical and allowing citizens to have freedom if a citizen cannot protect themselves from any threat foreign or domestic, they will not be able to stand up for themselves and a lot of countries in south America do not allow you to own firearms legally, and that means only criminals have the firearms

Americans work hard, they just aren't going to work for pennies like immigrants do. Americans want to be paid what they are worth and Immigrants work dirt cheap and under the table.

I've worked in the construction industry for 35 plus years. Well before I adapt that belief about that part of Canada, I will have to hear that from more black folks and their experiences because she didn’t give any real specific examples. They need to learn the local language. That goes for immigrants in Brazil too. This also goes for foreigners in countries like Colômbia and Ecuador. Nothing against foreigners, but many will work for cheap wages, thus keeping real wages down. And Westerners living in the countries I mentioned drive up the cost of living because home sellers take advantage of their ignorance.

I live in Calgary, Alberta 3 hours from Edmonton and what she is saying been a fact. WS especially feel slighted with the heavy immigration yearly as if they are being pushed out or replaced. I mostly do gig work so I don't have to deal with job market as is. They have alot of immigrants with 1 or 2 degrees working security, house cleaning with no way out and paying taxes to sustain their aging Canadian Caucasian population (45-80 year old) . The good paying jobs are given to them folks while you import highly educated populations from other countries and keep them at dead-end jobs like the US.

I wish Canada did more R&D. We have the talent and brains to be innovative, yet so many of us go work in the oil & natural gas sector because it pays handsomely.\nAlso to live in the most scenic provinces like BC and Ontario is crazy expensive. We moved from AB to BC in 2009 which my parents bought their house for $550,000 that's situated 40km East of Vancouver, and today their house is valued at 1.4 million... almost 3 times the original purchase price in just over a decade. Now an adult, my wife and I were forced to move back to Alberta and leave our families because we simply cannot afford to rent there nor ever have an honest shot at saving enough money to buy our own place. It is what it is and I'm sure it's a common theme that's not only exclusive to Canada, but man, it does sucks. I'm happy for any immigrants to move here and call Canada their home too, but many are loaded with money and purchase numerous properties just to then rent it out at an absurd rate because they can. It's fueling the problem worst and making it unfair for the born & raised Canadians.

Not once have i lived off the government. I work my girl works. We’re having a kid. And things are getting really tight. Inflation is kicking our butts bills increased pay is the same. Were not married yet. We decided to try to seek some government help for at least food right. Shit is tough rn so if we can at least get some food we’ll be fine. Canada is heavily control by US. All Canadian politicians are pro-US and kind of giving up expanding our trades with other countries. Don't think it would change. Canada is becoming less attractive to immigrants like me. it has fewer work opportunities and less salaries, but the living cost especially the house prices, whether you purchase or rent, are quite unaffordable. BTY, the IRCC is so stupid and unreasonable indeed.

Can someone tell me if Canada is a good place to move for a couple of years? I'm from the UK but lived in Spain for most of my life. The reason I want to leave Spain is because the average salary is low and job security I.E work contracts are all terrible unless you're in a big city like Madrid or Barcelona. Plus I live in a tourist/ retired destination so work here is seasonal as we are only busy over the summer time and trying to meet people around my age 20, 30s is difficult. I've heard so many good things about Canada from people I know but looking into some more I'm seeing that there's a big financial issue for those who plan to move over as the taxes are very high. I'm just looking to come over for a couple of years, save some money and then move back to the UK. If anyone that has travelled to Canada for a few years could let me know what its like now that would be great ?.

At least our banks in Australia don’t go broke like in US . Since the Covid lock downs a lot of people are homeless all around the world . I live in Sydney and I could not care less if we are isolated . We still can visit New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and South East Asia . I rather live in Australia than overseas because my relatives in the UK , and Cyprus didn’t care to spend time with me when I visited there . Their attitudes are not laid back . Anyway there are international students who find work here in Australia . We have heaps of lovely places in Australia to visit . There are amazing places in Western Australia and the rest of Australia to see . I agree Canada is amazing as I have been there but it doesn’t mean Australia is a dump like you are saying . I am sorry that you had a bad experience here but it doesn’t mean Australia is a horrible country to live in . There is beauty in our deserts thank you .

They don’t realize the harm they’re doing to the ones that already here illegally and are trying to do the best to get do everything right without breaking the laws , such as paying taxes. It’s selfishness from their part for what they’re doing and it’s only harming people like me. I’m was brought here to the US when I was 2 years old I am now 20. I graduated high school , don’t have any felonies or misdemeanors. I have a degree for machine technology and I can’t work because I don’t have a work permit , and these people are coming and getting all these privileges I never got. This is causing bad to those who are already here and are trying to do everything according to the law and yet we have no support in getting atleast a work permit. I agree daca was unconstitutional which is why they’re trying to shut it down but trump was trying to make something happen for teens that were brought here at a young age. Unfortunately people are blind and selfish and only care about themselves, I get it that they live in poverty because so did we. And my beautiful mother suffered so much. But atleast wait until the US can do something about those who are already in weather it’s helping them or not. There’s so much problems happening right now in the United States such as mass shootings. Let the authorities, government officials , etc try to clean up the United States from how bad it’s getting before raiding the border and causing a burden and headache to those who are in office trying to come up with solutions to this madness.

Some good points were touched on. We need solutions! What does this mean?\n\n- We need some immigration discipline. Yes, it's great to let immigration in, especially ones that pay taxes, but it's overburdening both the rental/housing demand (which needs opposing pressure to lower prices) as well as healthcare demand, which is not being properly addressed. Instead our healthcare system is flooded. And it's inefficient and expensive as is already. We just need to tame the number of people we allow in, and grow our ability to self-sustain first.\n- It's too late now, but government policies to give out money during COVID was poorly executed, yet plentiful. When 40% of currency was printed in the last year/two, no doubt we will have inflation. This was never touched upon in the video. Resources/social supports should have been provided rather than just straight up $$$. There was an excess of money given to places they shouldn't have been. We saw a boom in industries like say hobbies and games, showing additional money being wasted where it should have been used for food and shelter. \n- Canadian government is not trying to be as aggressive to retain Canadian companies. We are heavily dependent on US corporations and hence the brain drain as well. Salaries do not compare, especially when remote work is now possible. \n\nWe are already deep in the hole and need to be more financially responsible. I'd strongly disagree with the last statement in this video that we are perceived as corrupt (there's been lots of civil unrest because of government misspending). We are civil and polite, but that's not what helps economies grow, as OCED forecasts as well.

If everything and everyone were allowed to cover the whole United States from Central and South America, I wonder what it would look like in 20 or 30 years? NOT the people, the buildings, the plumbing, the electrical work, the roadways, the neighborhoods, SANITATION, and WATERWAYS. Before you know in a blink of an eye Spanish will be the NATIONAL language, and the U.S. flag will be replaced. I would like to move to Greenland or Iceland LEGALLY. ??? ??? ???

For all the talked about housing market problems in China we have our own distortions in our Canadian market that are dragging us down to. I sold my home 6 years ago (75% paid off) and left for an overseas work experience. When I came back ,my nest egg, even with a little stock market growth would never allow me to purchase the equivalent of what I had. While I was gone prices had gone up well over 50%. To acquire another home would be like starting all over from graduation. Homes should be for living in!

I'm a Canadian living in the UK now. I love Canada with every piece of my heart but couldn't see myself ever being anything other than working poor there. I went to college but couldn't get a job in my field so had to take whatever minimum wage I could get, couldn't afford rent let alone buying a property so moved in with my parents and there isn't any support from the government for average citizens, only if you're an immigrant, disabled etc. I'm not against helping immigrants, disabled people or those that need it, just sucks that if you don't fall into certain categories it means you'll always struggle in your minimum wage job.\nLife in the UK isn't perfect but I was able to find a decent job here, the public transit is actually usable, phone plans and other bills/groceries tend to be cheaper and the working conditions are significantly better. Like I get 32 paid days off a year in my average job which is just wild to me! In Canada my sister who is a police officer only gets 15 days off a year and that's a lot compared to other people, like I never use to get any paid time off at my previous jobs. I miss parts of living in Canada but for the time being the UK is making my life a lot easier.

I live in rural Newfoundland. At 23 years old i was able to buy a house for 239k with a 12k down payment. I was only able to do this by saving my money since I started working at 17, although when i started working and saving i never thought that money would go to buying a house. Anyways my point is I was only able to afford this home because i lived with my parents until i bought a house and they were kind enough not to charge me rent, all i had to do was pay for groceries and help out around the house. However paying over 200k for a house in a small community that only has a hardware store grocery store and a gas station with the nearest town that has anything more than that being a 45 minute drive away via highway is insane. I am by far the exception in this generation rather than the rule, and I wish our housing market was better so that people could afford to buy homes without having to luck into such favorable conditions like I did
