We basically became the WEF's dumping ground/experiment. \nAll the other G7 countries said NO to mass immigration, we (Justin) said sure we'll take them.\n\nEnd result, we have regressed as a society and economy. \n\nI sincerely hope Justin's citizenship is revoked and he gets deported to whichever country wants him.

5 years ago, my community was predominantly Caucasian. I wanted a little more diversity, but now it's insane how many Indians there are here. I feel bad for them sometimes because many have no place to stay. Sure, they have money, but there is no housing for all of them.

It sure will keep our wages low,,,,,more workers/less jobs will force wages even lower than they are now, and with inflation,,,our dollar is tanking.

I'm sure that most of the 17% who left are not Indians, because Indians they come to stay and they never leave since any living conditions in Canada is much better than living India by a wide stretch.

I am Canadian and sure as hell the Liberals do not represent my views and never will. Remember only 33% of the total population voted for these clowns.

Their was never a labour shortage but now they did bring in a excessive amount if people where their is now a work shortage and companies are hiring these immigrants at a cut rate just to fill the position because sure you may have to hire 2 or 3 too replace the position their taking but the government will give you tax breaks on hiring them and you onkt have to pay them a third of what you would have paid a actual canadian. Not onky that the government will actually force you to hire a certain number of them just too put canadians out of work

Let's learn from the US...skills and talent...sure... But every single person i talk to at every single store and fast food chain isnt skilled labor and im not one to say this but especially the Ukrainian immigrants very literally don't speak any English which should be required in order to hold a job here. I feel for them and i understand it takes time to learn a language... But i cant ask anyone where something is in a store for example

Punjab has a 60 million population.. so there is still a potential of doubling or tripling our population and fulfil Trudeau's dreams. India will surely not miss them. Jagmeet can do the one and only good thing in his life by pulling back his support

NDP Liberal coalition coupled with WW2 WAFFEN Nazi Ukrainian is sure winner for elites

I’m not exactly sure why Justin has ramped up immigration as he has done, but it was one of his earliest actions, and I am quite sure some Liberal connected people are making hay off the situation, as long as the sun shines.

If you do not put strict quotas to countries like India and China, they will surely make sure Canada is India 2.0. Only the highly skilled, super smart people from those countries should be accepted the rest should not even be able to come via marriage. That is the only solution yet it might be too late for Canada already since even India's economy is doing better than Canada nowadays

Canada will surely havte even more professional labour shortage in specific filed, IT people will leave Canada for USA . Universities have hard time recruiting and maintaining qualified professors bc even 120000 a year for Toronto and Vancouver are no longer sufficient to buy a house.

Ok Doug downer or Debbie downer. I was just in the UK, Sweden, Spain, Italy, the USA and Australia in the last 1.5 yrs. I was staying with friend/relative and believe me the 'Health Care' crisis is the same in all, the 'inflation' crisis is the same in all, the 'housing crisis' is the same in all. So before you go downer on my country..........make sure you do your homework and look at other countries. There is a similar trend in most 'top' countries. The UK, France, USA, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and most of the EU is a mess and also has it problems!

How an airlines worker allegedly exploited Canada’s immigration laws to admit people from India\nThe 24-year-old former British Airways worker is estimated to have made over $5.1 million from the fraud scheme\n\nAuthor of the article:Jamie Casemore\nPublished Feb 28, 2024\n\nA former British Airways employee has allegedly fled to India after being arrested for allegedly helping Indian citizens get around immigration laws so they could claim asylum in Canada.\n\nAs initially reported in The Times of London on Tuesday, the employee who worked at Heathrow airport in London, U.K., is said to have enabled people without proper documentation to get on flights to Canada so that they could claim asylum upon entering the country. He allegedly charged £25,000 per person or about $43,000. The alleged scam is estimated to have made 3 million pounds or over $5.1 million.\n\nAfter taking the money from the Canada-bound asylum seekers, the 24-year-old former employee allegedly told them to fly from India to the U.K. on a temporary visa.\n\n\n\nA former British Airways employee has allegedly fled to India after being arrested for allegedly helping Indian citizens get around immigration laws so they could claim asylum in Canada.\n\nAs initially reported in The Times of London on Tuesday, the employee who worked at Heathrow airport in London, U.K., is said to have enabled people without proper documentation to get on flights to Canada so that they could claim asylum upon entering the country. The alleged scam is estimated to have made 3 million pounds or over $5.1 million. \n\nAccording to the Times of London, Canadian immigration officials raised concerns after noticing an influx of people flying to Toronto or Vancouver without proper documentation, and claiming asylum.\n\nNormally, airline employees would check if passengers are eligible to fly to their destination, but, using his position at British Airways, the 24-year-old was allegedly able to falsely claim that his victims had the proper documentation for travel to Canada. The former employee’s process was allegedly to make sure that the prospective immigrants came to his check-in desk at the airport. Later, he would allegedly meet them again during the boarding process and falsely report they had the correct documents a second time.\n\nThe former British Airways employee was arrested on Jan. 6, but after making bail, he and his partner, who also worked for British Airways, fled to India, where he reportedly owns multiple properties and is still on the run from U.K. and Indian authorities. If he is captured, India and the U.K. have an extradition treaty.\n\n\n\n\nA former British Airways employee has allegedly fled to India after being arrested for allegedly helping Indian citizens get around immigration laws so they could claim asylum in Canada.\n\nAs initially reported in The Times of London on Tuesday, the employee who worked at Heathrow airport in London, U.K., is said to have enabled people without proper documentation to get on flights to Canada so that they could claim asylum upon entering the country. This country sucks now. It used to be a great country, now everything has gone up the roof and the usual suspect (salary) hasn't moved an inch..Taxes, Housing expenses, winter, not sure why anyone in their right mind would want to come here..

Probably the tip of the iceberg, there are millions more like this im sure, Canada is a magnet to launder your dirty cash.

is everyone living under a rock? Sure housing, healthcare etc. are more expensive in certain parts of the country. The same goes with the US, England and Australia. I am a first generation born Canadian (1958). My ancesters worked hard 7 days a week to support multigeneration household without complaining. You should feel blessed to live in this country.

Health care is good?? Are you kidding me???? That sounds very insincere!! \nYou probably have never been to an emergency, like NYGH, where instead of the nursing staff, they have there trained jail and security guards to deal with sick people. Instead of “we will not accept any abuse of the staff”, they consistently don’t permit a single question or a word instead! If you make a decision like leaving home after 12 hours waiting, they call security guards and often four of them pin you to a wall!! True case!!! Also, it seems that this guy stopped short from saying the PM of Canada is great! ?\nI haven been thinking for the last three years where would I like to spend my retirement age. I know for sure it WON’T BE Canada!!

The homes are crazy expensive. Just start from million The healthcare is not good if something were to happen to you . Hav e to be waiting in the emergency over night I slips on ice went to the emergency went there at 6:00 for looked at 9:00 waited 4 hrs to get look d at. 3 generation Canadians have it good there parents came in the 90s houses weren’t so expensive then . Know it’s really hard with inflation so high if you don’t have a good job it will be a struggle. Indian students come to Canada thinking just working on cash will be enough ?it will not . Mass immigration is a problem to many people less houses . Canada likes to say they welcome immigrants but truthfully they dont. And high taxes, truth fully you work all your life just to sure and pay taxes …….

You’re not allowed to openly carry a knife on school property in North Carolina, but you can open carry a knife in public. All this would’ve taken to resolve is a conversation and making sure the students takes it back to his room. He definitely doesn’t seem like a dangerous student.

well housing and for health care cost of living. the new middle class to live comfortable afford rent groceries car payments and to have some saving need to make at least 11k a month after taxes 11k a month after taxes is like 200k in canada for health care to even see a doctor sure ok we get referral but that referral takes 8 months to go and see an referral. i worked 2 full time jobs in the trades to try and get ahead that 2 full time trade mens jobs and i looked at my taxes was 5 months of income in taxes. so i quit one job. i ncanada your penealized for working harder when there is a single mom who has no job has 4 kdis making 5k a month from child benefits and welfare

I am a Czech pilot and our company contracts us with different companies. I spent over half a year in Canada between 2018-2020. I have returned for the first time since Corona pandemic and I was shocked by the price increase everywhere. It was not a cheap country back then in my eyes but it costs an arm and a leg just to fill the stomach. Prices have doubled for many comodities since 2018. Sure in Europe it used to be way cheaper than it is now... but here it just blew my mind.\nYet half of the cars on the roads are huge pickups, people are dining out...

A few years ago I got job offer to work in Canada, it looked attactive in the beginning until we went over the offered wage which was slitghly above my income working in the US, the issue came up when I saw how much I would get net in my pocket after taxes, social security, etc, the amount was lower to my net income at that time, and comparing the higher cost of life in Canada (home rent, grocery, utilities, etc) vs USA, oh man!!, I had to turn it down. I cannot imagine how expensive it is to live in Canada these days, but for sure it must be a way higher. I kind understand why this decline of citizenship applications is happening.

I have visited Canada for the first time in 1978 and again in 2006. My ex-wife is Canadian. I am not sure why Canadians have this reputation of being friendly. They are not impolite but they are definitely not friendly towards newcomers. I have lived in Germany, Italy, Greece, Thailand and my current home Australia and those countries are much friendlier than Canada.

I am sure that unruly daughter must have done something wrong. \nAnd the way she is shouting, it is evident, she must have been a drama queen growing up where she had her father to back up all her unruly behaviour

To be clear, Canada does not pay for drug addicts to have their doses of drugs. They pay for them to have a safe injection site and free clean needles. If they don’t have any drugs and are at risk of dying sure to not having doses, or don’t want to be on drugs anymore, then they can get free doses of methadone which is a pharmaceutical used to help reduce dangerous withdrawal symptoms. I’d say this fact is much different than what you said. I do think there is a problem that needs addressing but you can’t expect right wing conservative givernwments to have a solution either since they usually just want to grease the palms of their rich friends.

Deceptive. You cannot prove that politicians “refuse to allow more homes to be built b/c they want to prevent depreciation of their own properties”! Did they tell u that? That’s a major lie wrapped up in some truths which makes it more deceptive. The fact is, they have not been disallowing permits to build. Sure in some parkland towns they don’t allow too much building like in Banff. But otherwise, Canada is a capitalistic nation. Private investors build homes, not the public government so much. Home building is PRIVATE INDUSTRY just like groceries are private industry, NOT PUBLIC. If right wingers don’t like that, then that means they don’t like capitalism. Good, that should wake them up! Yes, we should tax billionaires more and provide more SOCIAL funding and services to the poor such as they have in Norway and Denmark. It’s called SOCIAL DEMOCRACY. You’re welcome.

Idk about Canada but I heard about it's unstable society because of feminism and being extremist. But not sure just what I heard.

Go back and fix your country. Stop destroying ours. Take care of your people the way we do to ours and if you want to come in go through with the legal way sign papers let us check your background so we can make sure you’re not here to harm us. Call back. It’s all Biden fault, I don’t ever wanna see Biden ever again, I can’t stand that president. He caused all of this.

Did these people not do any research? Did they just jump a plane and immigrate to another county without knowing what it's like? If I decided to immigrate to India, you can be sure I would have investigated everything and made a visit or two to check things out first, lined up a job and then make my decision. If they made the wrong decision, it's no one's fault but their own--not Canada's.

I'm surprised by how much everyone promotes moving to Nova Scotia, given the housing shortage that has led to exorbitantly high rents, a one-bedroom apartment in an old building costs 1,600, and in new building costs 3,500 per month. And for three people I pay 85 dollars of electricity every two months. Internet is 105 dollars per month. Professional salaries barely cover rent, food, and car expenses, as they are quite low, often ranging between $50,000 and $60,000 for positions requiring 5 to 10 years of experience, and sometimes even lower. Before you even see your paycheck, expect at least 30% to be deducted for taxes, as calculated by a Nova Scotia tax calculator. The healthcare system is struggling; last year, joining a list to be assigned a family doctor was estimated to take up to three years. For those seeking care at walk-in clinics, you must arrive before 7 am and wait in line; they only see the first 15 people, typically just on Mondays. If you're last, you might wait until noon or later to be seen. After working for 40 years, the pension is approximately $1,200, or less if you haven't worked the full duration with salaries over 60,000. \n \nI forgot to mention that prices in stores are without an additional 15% tax, you should add that to every product or service you purchase. If you want to go to a restaurant, an economical one, and buy a lasagna and something to drink, it will cost you at least 70 dollars. McDonalds and Tim Hortons, for three people, may cost 40 dollars, but it is your health. \n \nThe government is investing millions to attract students and new immigrants, making labor significantly cheaper for large companies. Individuals with low wages can't even afford the cheapest rent, resulting in some living in tents across cities and towns in Nova Scotia. With an annual inflation rate of 15% to 25%—and the official rate reflecting only a detailed list of products deemed as basic food items by the government—only the minimum wage is legally required to increase when deemed appropriate by the government. Other wages increase only if the employer decides to do so. How often do they do this out of kindness to their employees? That's a good question. \n \nYour work experience in other countries does not count. They want people with Canadian experience, so it is better to think you will start with a 35,000 salary per year. A house cost between 450,000 to 2,500,000. When are you going to save to pay for a house? The cheapest ones can be 200 years old. A 100 m2 apartment, new, not very elegant but nice, can cost more than 2 million dollars in downtown Halifax. People say it is due to money laundry, and for sure is not because the medium class is buying them. \n \nI have many friends, who graduated from Canadian colleges and universities that haven't gotten a job in their career even after four years of graduation... and the list is longer. Please, be honest with people
