Rising cost of living is a trend especially when inflation is high in North America, the government should be more proactive in increasing the housing supply and creating affordable housing. Canada immigration system is skill based but the country also needs blue collar workers to fill jobs needed in the economy. I read too many articles where doctors work in factories there. The last is job growth, the government needs to invest in infrastructure and create environment for business to come to the country. Yes, US has the same problems but the salaries are higher south of the border. The average Facebook employee receives 800K compensation yearly.

Yes the cost of living and the price of things, especially real estates are high and this country has not enough sunny weather in one year.

Yes, sure. That‘s why the fellow arab countries let the Palestinians rot since more than half a century in an apartheid situation in refuge camps, or now even worse, in the war zone itself. I‘m sure they are very thankful for this help of their arab brothers..

And no one informs them how the pension plan works. To explain with simple numbers, let's say you worked in Canada for 20 years. You will receive the maximum CPP about $1200 per month only if you worked in Canada for 40 years. If you retired with only 20 years CPP contribution your pension will be $1200 x 20/40 = $600. Unfortunately to survive in Canada you will have to have saved at least 500000, yes half a million of today's money. Good lack with that with the crazy cost of living if you rent a home. Conclusion, save some money and leave before is too late.

Dodged the question entirely. Yes they should be taking them along with places like Egypt and Turkey. They are saying no and UK, Europe and US are stuck with them. They are doing it on purpose too. Sleeper cells.
2023-12-31 0
Inflation yes time for us to move out too but it’s tough don’t know where to move ??
2023-12-31 0
Most of these issues unfortunately are world wide and not just Canada. Yes everything change during/after the \npandemic. Try and go living in France for example, good luck with that. Lets not even talk about South America \nand a lot of other placesare like that. Happy go get lucky times are over folks, unless the whole system changes\n...or collapses.

I think your reading of the situation is slight from the wrong end of scope. \n\n1> the job of the Canadian gov is to look after Canadians. (Yes they allow immigrants but that is for the benefit of Canadians and not the other way around. \n\nThe house prices are intentionally kept high. The reason is because it makes existing citizens richer. (Year on year) these people vote and the gov would like their vote) . Creating huge supply of housing is going to crash the market and that will end up people feeling poor. (Values will drop : demand and supply) . Falling values mean people will feel poor and then less likely to vote for the current administration.\n\nI am based in UK which is experiencing record amount of immigration. \n\nTaxes here are high.(I don’t mind high taxes as long as there are good public services to show for them) \n\nGood roads \nHigh speed internet \nGood infrastructure \nHospitals \n\nSo the job of the gov (in western hemisphere) generally is to keep the voting public happy. \n\nThat involves \n\n1>Good public services (most are social states and people accept high taxation as a trade off for good public services) \n\n2> rising house prices. (Voting public wants to feel richer and owning your home is like your retirement and pension pot. Most of the wealth in uk is stored in property. (I guess same in Canada to some extent ) \n\n3> control of immigration. People want immigration but want good immigration l. People who will come and contribute to society. Too much of it can be an issue for existing citizens and also immigrants themselves selves.\n\n\nOn a separate note. People deciding where to settle always remember. Long term the proximity to the world matters . Europe is still the centre of the world. Cross east to Asia and west to Canada and USA etc. living in Canada (west coast specially is like the edge of the world just like living in NZ ) \n\nPopulation matters. \nThe Canadian population and Australian population is less than of Uk (as far as I know ) and the land mass is huge. It is not a big market compared to some of the countries compared to Europe. \n\nMore people = more demand = more big companies want to compete =lower prices for consumers and less inflation .\n\nJust some thoughts on this last day of 2023z happy new years all .

I formerly lived in greater GTA abd hadcto run away because I almost became homeless. I could not find a decent place to live in, affordability was a problem. So yes, there are cheaper places to live in Canada, but leaving family and friends is hard, but if you want a roof over your head that is the tough decision you have to make. I had two jobs and was still struggling.
2023-12-30 0
Yes, sounds better you live in a predominately Muslim country & embrace your 5x/day azam & hijabs, etc…

Yes, because countries that live according to your values are thriving...? \n\nIronically, it is the muslim community over here that I received most discrimination from.\n\nAnyway - Bye!

:( SADLY true! I left in mid 70's as I could see housing being unaffordable even then for middle class. Only gotten worse and YES, foreign $$$$$$$$$ OWN the best real estate, leaving them empty! I do hope it gets better, but it is also a worldwide issue :( Thanks for sharing and ALL the BEST! Cheers! :)

Good for you guys! To answer your question….Yes! We are currently living in Egypt (6 months now) from the USA. Left for many of the same reasons. All the Best to you and your family in this next chapter .

Moving from Canada seems to be a trend on my pages. And totally understand your top 1 reason. But what I don't understand is that Canada actually seems to be be one of the countries in the world that has the lowest inflation rate. Yes almost all inflation rates have increased but Canada doesn't seem to be anywhere close to the worst, more close to the lowest rate.

Yes, lately some would like to shove the Woke culture down our throats. Eventually they might do that at gunpoint.

I am sick of governments in western countries kow towing to a minority....middle eastern people.\nWhen are the goverments going to wake up and start taking back control of their countries instead of allowing muslims take over?\n\nI find it astounding that our governments opened the gates as it were, and allowed muslims in their droves to immigrate to UK, US and Australia etc. And now look what is happening...\n\nIf any politicians listened to learned speakers such as, the son of hamas founder, Brigitte Gabriel and or Douglas Murray, then they would be more informed as opposed to ill informed about muslims and the ideology they believe in, evil in disguise.\n\nWhy are the members of the UN not asking themselves, 'why are surrounding middle eastern countries point blankly refusing to take in palestinian refugees'?\n\nBut, how stupid are the leaders of western countries saying oh yes we will take the refugees, we feel sorry for them oh and let's also give them financial assistance. What a joke!\n\nLet us not forget the freedoms our fathers and grandfathers fought for, to live in democratic countries and have freedom. Our governments are making the right choices when they sit back and allow muslims to take over and preach their hate for our western way of life and their devotion to hamas. \n\nStop them all now, there is no place for muslims in our countries, they are only here to get rid of our democracy!

I am from Bosnia and while yes we had great opportunities here, we are really wanting to move back home, its so nice to hear ezan, eat halal, eat healthy food , less stress, more walking, but it is hard to make the decision to leave family here.
2023-12-28 0
What I would like to mention towards number 1 decision, as you probably know that even Arab countries were not to express their support to the Palestinians, so whatever your decision is, make sure that it's not an Arab country, there is a lot of suppression there, and especially religious suppression. Yes, you will hear the adhan, but you find difficulty practicing your religion. Allah knows best.
2023-12-28 0
Salam yes I'm considering it (for a long time now) but unsure where to go

As a native Canadian I totally understand your stand on winter and inflation. As a native Canadian I think we don't inform immigrants and outsiders that winter climate does to alot of people. There is a seasonal affective disorder (very prevelent) in my father's family and even my mother unfailing optimism get's like you fatigue at the very least. Kids love winter but yes as a adult or even a teen many people retreat and feel isolated. As for inflation, I do hope you find a country where the gouvernement(s) aren't denying the insanity that is going on. To be honest, after centuries of being a Quebec native, I have fantasized very heavily about moving myself because even with a good salary things each year since Covid-19 have become just terribly expensive and it affect primarily basic shelter and food needs. It's absurd! Good luck on your way settling where ever you will!
2023-12-28 0
Yes, you are right with all the reasons you mentioned. May Allah bless you and guide you to the right decisions.

Danbury Connecticut in USA area I keep seeing new Muslims base restaurants open up. Also you close NYC but far enough. Also known where Catholic Priest, Rabbi's and Imam get together and panel discussion, about issues. However, just in one high school in Danbury over 100 different languages are spoken. Do we have people that prejudice yes, but in general they dealt with. In general I feel people here like you do you, but pressure us in your way other than pressure we press back on pressure to do things your way.

Salaam alaykum brother and sister, I am a Muslim and I live in the US, and totally agree and understand your decision, I feel the same way too, however I just wanted to let you know that if you are considering Dubai or anywhere in the UAE, Saudi or the Gulf area for that matter, then don't since the final reason you stated will be a reason there as well, unfortunately but yes, I have a family members that live in these countries and myself have visited there, otherwise, keep us posted with your findings and may Allah guide us all, jazakum Allah kheiran

I am a born and proud Roman Catholic and love your videos. In Cape Town South Africa Christians and Muslims live in harmony and in most families there will be one or the other denomination in a family. I grew up in a neighbourhood where the call for prayer from the local Mosque could be heard. It was all part of growing up. Our Church Bells rang as well. Everyone accepted it. Of course there will always be grumpies in some areas, very few I may add who complain but they are shutdown by the rest of the community. We too have Malls with prayer rooms. Our private hospitals have a prayer room for all denominations with a mat for Muslim patients. Yes our country might have a bad reputation for the usual world wide issues but in Cape Town we continue our lives at our own pace. May the God Almighty Bless you on your new adventure.

2023-12-27 0
Yes! Reason # 2 and # 1 is good and at this point every Muslim should have that at the back of their mind.

I know taking this decision was hard for you, but I am sooo happy you are leaving Canada and coming to a Muslim country. Yes, there are many downsides in muslim countries as well, but it all comes down to what you are willing to give up on, and I belive you are chosing to hold on to what actuallymatters. I hope you find the perfect place for you. I have a feeling it will be the best decision ever????

Hi, we live in Luxembourg and are practising muslims and have a kid. yes, indeed it is very difficult to raise a kid with Islamic values in this society. also, it's challenging to practise for ourselves as well. we don't want to be liberal muslims, rather a true muslim. but that's difficult. so we are considering to move to a middle eastern country in a couple of years InshAllah. thanks in advance for sharing your journey, good luck to you wherever you choose to live❤?

May Allah make your life easier and better wherever you decide to live. Yes, as a parent it is very difficult living in a non-Muslim country trying to raise your children in within the Muslim faith and traditions. ❤???✌?

Lynn just watched this video ,great content, i came across it after a friend of mine with a good job in kenya asked me if i had any links there, i am Jamaican, i actually established a business in Nairobi Kenya, which i moved from Jamaica which started in the UK, i told my friend i did have links but he would not be able to take the Cold weather, look Lynn the answer for me is if your KENYAN Government opened the doors to the Diaspora to come to Kenya from the Carribean ,USA and South America , we would bring our wealth and skills which are higher,no disrespect, yes there are intellectuals in Kenya, but they realise when they work in places like Canada that they are learning more, we as black Diasporans already had a head start when it comes to that , because we have been in those countries since Slavery unfortunately, but we took the knowledge anyway, if we came to Kenya and other African countries, not only would jobs be created for kenyans and such like but your living standards and economy would improve, its a no brainer, please do i video on this subject,?keep up the good work, nuff respect

Hi from Germany. Love your content. Freshly reverted (2month ago?). And yes, I'm with you on this decision. I barely moved back to Germany 3 years ago after 17 years in the US. But I'm already ready to move out! I think Germany is right with Canada regarding Inflation (cucumber from 50 Cent to sometimes 1,40 € or higher). Hate crimes, crappy government etc. Not sure though where to move to because of the current situation and I 'm by myself.
2023-12-26 1
yes, please , go live in Palestine
2023-12-26 0
So very sorry that you have to make the decisions for those reasons. But totally understandable and yes your kids always come first in life of course but that's so wrong that even though your reasons is of course the right you have to do that cause of what other people believe in and what those people are doing and that your childrens future and present is not what it should be for all you believe in and want them to learn and be. I totally respect your decision and life has so much beauty but cruelty too and more now with all that is going on Again so sorry
