A very well documented vlog about pros and cons of settling in CANADA. Presently visiting Canada to see the reality of this Country. And after 4 months i completely agreed with whatever you have explained in this video. I have decided myself to educate more people like you to never leave their Country no matter what the circumstances are. Racism is so subtle and different here now a days. We Indians cannot tolerate each other here leave alone the Canadians. Never leave your home Country ever. Never!!❤

Canada is one of the few places where freedom of choice is always respected. I was born in Toronto and bought a house in Ajax in 2013 (before the housing market exploded). \n\nEverything you said in your video is correct. As a new comer, I know it’s hard to advance your career, make friends or buy property. \nMy son is 23 and will probably never be able to own a home and he wants to leave Canada for a better quality of life. \nRaising taxes, high rent, the failing healthcare system, and poor quality of life (plus the cold weather) are all factors that should make immigrants NOT want to come here. \n\nAs far as making friends, you hit the nail on the head. People in Canada are polite, but not friendly. I find it the same here in Toronto. You’re most likely to build friendships with people you work or go to school with. I feel we lack the sense of “community” and don’t put in as much effort to maintain friendships. \nI blame the weather for this.

I am very happy that people who dont like Canada are deciding to go back to India, its good for us immigrants who are able to live in peace because we are ready to go through struggle and we like the country. Couple of years ago, people were randomly and blindly coming to Canada without knowing ANYTHING about the country and unfortunately everything was crowded.

Prior to Canada (Toronto) where I moved last year, I lived my life pretty evenly split between USA (many big cities), China and Serbia. Canada is by far the worst place of any of these and I'll gladly move back to either of them, or to a new place. I have no idea who likes it in Canada and what exactly, but I can't find ONE thing better here than what I had before. And worst of all, the people. Omg, they're horrid! ?

I would add that living in Canada requires a brainless mindset. There are many laws to follow, taxes to pay, things to fix, $hit to deal with. Your life will be miserable if you have creativity, imagination or to think outside the box. Canada just want sheeps and brain dead individuals. Police are corrupted as like the government. To them, you're just there so they can milk you till you died.

In answer to topics raised. Real estate in Australia is expensive because the nation is highly successful and ordinary citizens are wealthy, and this includes real estate, plus with 3 billion middle class Asian's right above Australia the Asian economy dwarfs the US economy to insignificance. Job opportunities are dictated by the fields the economy needs - oil is insignificant in Australia compared to other industries. Geographic Isolation - Thank god the rest of the world is far away, as an Australian I wish it was further away. Air fares prior to pandemic were reasonable USA to Australia around $800 return - but this guy lives in Perth so to go 4-5,000km to the east coast will be expensive - on the east coast a one way ticket to another city can be had for around $50 to $80 - Again for Australians proximity to the US market is not significant we are focused on the Asian region. Natural beauty anywhere is amazing but I prefer a warm climate over a frozen one - The Canadian population is all centered around the US/Canadian border region the rest of Canada like central Australia is vastly empty. In conclusion I find many immigrants want to move from Australia to Canada is proximity to the USA but for Australians the US market or lifestyle is not attractive or important.

The only thing I agreed with you is the price of housing in large cities. Canada is still a great country if one is willing to work. I maybe living in a cocoon, all my friends and my children’s friends are doing ok with their jobs and finances. The really uneducated and uninspired would suffered just like in any other country. Canada is not perfect, but I rather be here than anywhere else. Btw, I am 70 years old and have been here for 60 years.

Born and raised in Canada 30+ years. Probably one of the worst health care systems I ever experienced. Crime, too expensive, horrible politics and leadership. \n\nLeft years ago to Asia and every time i got back to visit, I feel like I've gone back in a time machine 50 years. Never moving back. Best decision of my life.

Susth logo ke liye Canada, USA, Europe nahi hai. You got to learn basics like plumbing, electric works, cleaning house and lawn and yes some knowledge of vehicle break down. Indian education doesn't teach you all of these. So go prepared. And please don't call any country as hell because these countries are way above our league. All the best.

Canada is not a Muslim majority country. It was founded on Christian values and traditions. There are 48 Muslim majority countries in the world. If you want to live 'like a Muslim' then moving to one of those countries IS a better option. I commend you choice...good luck.

Canada, like the United States is in deep, deep trouble. Both countries now have authoritarian governments that are becoming more and more communist, and intrusive. And social rot has taken hold.

Singapore is a much more congested place. Real estate prices are on the higher end.\nCanada is a very cold place but in certain states, Canada gives free land to settle immigrants. Plus, as you stay in close proximity of the US with similar timezones. So you can find jobs in American companies. Singapore is from a different timezone and there is very little overlap between California PST and Singapore SGT. \nAs the global warming takes effect, Singapore will sink, while Canada becomes warmer, more natural resources are unlocked in Canada. Not to mention, Singapore is sorrounded by Islamic nations, and there is high probability of terrorism happening in near future as radicalization increases in that region. War is already happening in Burma between Junta and ARSA. And when civil war happens, so happens the in-flux of illegal arms and ammunition. Canada is far far away from these warzones.\nMost people should prefer Canada over Singapore, unless you have any specific ties to South East Asia, like you love the Asian food or you need to stay in close proximity of your family and friends.

You seem like such awesome people, but I really can't align with your religion or any other religion. Canada is a secular country. Religion is a secondary private matter, up to you. I don't agree with religion, but I'm not free to restrict it.

Reasons I left Canada:\n1. no jobs...\n2. you find a job... low pay...\n3. you get pay... high taxes...\n4. you need to get to yer job... no public transportation...\n5. you need to eat... high food prices.... plus the selection is bad... not many fruits/veggies...\n6. you need a place to live.... rents are high, home prices are high... \n7. the weather sucks, personal freedoms are few, no innovation, no entrepreneurialism... \nHmmmm let me list the things I like about Canada:\n1. I have lived in TO for over 30 years. Love the city! It has its challenges and problems, just like any BIG city worldwide. I would not move anywhere else in Canada (because other places are as expensive or much colder). I love its energy, restaurants, venues, events and the diversity of its people. There is so much room for improvements and to control rent/house affordability, but it is still a great place to live.

Women in Europe and Western countries, in places like Canada, or where I am from, in England, have to do all the house chores as we don't have maids. People from back home are not use to working so hard, and doing house house chores as they have maids in the house.

Things that are the worst in Canada. Health care. Dr's. Taxes. Weather. Government corruption. Incompetent people running the country. High in socialist and communist group. Now I know why big powers are destroying other countries, to bring people to countries like Canada and abuse them.

Big cities in Canada actually aren't higher in crime. The worst crime is probably western small towns. But even really nice cities like Fredericton NB have far higher crime than Toronto does. This may be changing fast enough that we will see a change, but Toronto is almost an outlier in the world on crime rates. So Pickering is an A- on crime. Fredericton is an F. You would never guess it walking around. Though the same report says Pickering is a D- on health, while Fredericton is an A-, which is ridiculous because you can't get a doctor in Fredericton, unless there is one in the family. So maybe the stats are bogus.

Seems Islam is too cerimonialistic/ritualist and require a lot of structure for praticing. Clean, specific places? Headspeakers for scheduled daily prayers? \nI'm glad the Creator I believe is omniscient and I can pray to Him anywhere, anytime, at worst requiring me a quiet place and to close my eyes. I think this video is interesting because many people are upset about the direction Canada is heading because they are trying to make it accommodating to people like you. Your reasons seem very tone deaf and hypocritical. You point out negatives about Canada but seem to only say positives about other countries. Nobody said this so I have to; Canada is a country like most western country sell hope for people; however many, not all who comes over these western country find themselves in a hard place; with broken family; broken kids, and just work, work, work, and pay pay pay... when they work all their life, and get old; most have nothing to show for; their kids are too busy for them, most end up alone in a nice place; eventually, they will realize all they have is a nice jail, and kids, and the Gov;t just wait to get all their asset when they past. Sad Reality. There was a time when one get old are surrounded by their family; kids, grand kids, etc... Its now gone!

Move out of Toronto and you'll love Canada! I immigrated last year and like everyone else I went straight to Toronto to find a job. I did find a well paying job but even after that, the city was not affordable. I liked the part that it's easy to find new people and settle in the city because everyone's very open minded and welcoming but the rent al market is absurd! Public transport need a major upgrade! The only thing apart from social life that I liked was toronto's biking culture and community. But taking ttc, specially the subway is scary! Road rage is becoming a norm, no respect for pedestrians or cyclists. The city is broken.\n\nI am now living in London, Ontario, and I feel a lot safer. Fortunately, the renting is still not as bad here but you need to own a car (well, that's just North America) and then you can life a comfortable life.

One of my colleague worked in Canada for 18 years and died there. Their family behaves as if they are poor and don't have money to bring back his body to India. He worked there for 18 years and they are behaving like poor in front of Indians.
