Justin Trudeau third world country we owe these immigrants so much???

There's too many conflicting narratives. One says we're 40m people. Another says we've had net loss of 40k-70k people ever since the 1980s. StatCan might've been tracking the inflow of immigrants but not the outflow. Mexicans have been found frozen to death in the southern woods of Ontario. They number in the hundreds of not thousands. Why isn't CBC covering this stuff?

The public needs to as ask why the West is taking in so many immigrants. The answer is declining natural birth rates. Eventually the European people of the West will be replaced by Indians and Chinese. That's what happens when you can't replace your population naturally-you will be replaced.

Lots of students that were coming for studies to Canada . They were using the student visa to stay in Canada . . Know there are people flying to Canada and asking for asylum ??what a joke . Canada need to make there immigration office more strict what is going own .

If there is a big population of a particular group immigrating to a particular country means a few things. The country who is accepting that many people must be very desperate for immigrants or, the immigrants might be desperate to leave their country b/c the standard of living in their home country must be very bad.

Totally agree with the woman on 11:00 - everybody who choses to immigrate to any country, not only Canada, have to adopt to local culture, assimilate. If you prefer your own - that's fine, but it is your personal case. You can't come to a country with your own rules.

im a huge advocate of diversity but this is just too much ... I live in Toronto and i lost two jobs to massive Indian immigration and probably counting, because they r desperate n willing to work themselves to the bone for pennies ... u cant compete with that\n\nas i got phased out, every single one of my co workers became indian, as i roam the streets, all i see r indians riding around on ebikes doing delivery, even in china town a lot of the general populace appears to be indian\n\nim unable to find a decent job because everything is flooded with applications\n\nvery important to note that however hard it is to accept, we cannot blame the actual immigrants ... the government/authorities r letting them in, they need to have much stricter control\n\nnever in my wildest dreams have i ever needed to even consider leaving canada, but at this rate this is what it is coming down to ... i dont want to live in a third world country in the west tyvm

Barring a few the only Indians that would be accepted through Canadian immigration are the skilled professionals. So I’m an immigrant who arrived from Poland as a child. What made me quickly integrate and become Canadian was the absence of ethnic enclaves. I grew up in social housing, which sucked, but it was with a tonne of Portuguese, El Salvadorians, Colombians and a few Somalis in my hood. The thing is, there was no dominant group, and thus we all had to live together, communicate in English, and adopt universal values and lifestyles that all those groups had in common, rather than those of my home country. I feel these new generations won’t have that same experience.

At one time the immigrants were MOSTLY from Europe it was them that built Canada now they come mostly from middle / far east. Seem to let anyone in these days. And most of them make no effort at integration. Alien cultures.

Immigrants will automatically gather at a city where their community thrives. It happens to be Brampton, with Indians immigrating here from 3 generations ago, and contributing massively to its growth. The Indians you interviewed here , were taken out of context . They were joking about how many Indians are there. Yes , the homeless majority would be white, try also running some stats around folks on social assistance, folks who are choosing not to work and folks who are actually willing to work and contribute to the country economy. \nThere is a reason government keeps promoting immigration , think about that. Wait till the inflation keeps thriving , job cuts continue and Canada no longer seems interesting (it's already happening ) . When the assistance cheques get cut , let's see who you blame then.

He could have misbehaved equally ,but as an immigrant he knows with how much effort he has got here.He looks like a student to me and he knows if he do something wrong here ,he will be in a big trouble and don't want to shatter his career. This started in 2021The government pays their wage here in bc. So businesses are only hiring immigrants. Every place here is flooded with them. At first it was all the minimum wage jobs but now theyre takjng over the good jobs. If you say anything people will call you racist.

Brampton is full of Indian immigrants crowded in, and now Trudeau wants to dump over a million dollars into housing for Brampton. Seriously?? He wants to house the immigrants, not Canadian citizens.

I came to Canada (Québec) in 2018 as an immigrant and i absolutely loved it i'm not sure if i was just lucky but housing wasn't a problem for me you can easily find roommates etc however i think there is a big addiction problem as most homeless that i saw are addicts which is unfortunate.

When you have a country that has 1.5% rental vacancy rate, and only 150,000 houses are built in a year, and then you bring in 1.4 million new immigrants and foreign students/temporary workers, you end up with 500,000 or more homeless people each year. If they bring in another million people, the homeless population will simply grow by another million people as there is nowhere for people to rent and no new homes available to buy.

As an indian in dont really dislike Brampton. Its just the leftist policies that ruined it. A lot of immigration isnt really legal either. The govt aint enforcing immigration law so its more or less allowed. Kinda like how usa has an open border policy with mexico. Legal immigration is next to impossible while illegal immigration is prioritized. There are far too many people getting visitor visas and never leaving thats a slap in the face of the poor working class. Or even legal immigrants that took the time money and had the qualifications to come here and did it legally.

There are some parts of Surrey you can't tell what country your in, then you got to mention Vancouver where we are quoted as the most Asian city in Canada. All sad but true. I once worked in immigration.... follow the $$$$. Whoever has the money gets the visa -- gets the Uni placement -- gets the real estate -- gets the votes etc. Not a far stretch. \nImagine, Canada won't be a desired destination soon !!

I would like to provide a background to all the native Canadians who are wondering why the East Indian population is growing in Canada they are lot of education consultants back in India who market Canada as a lucrative country to immigrate brownie points for studying to get PR free healthcare free education till grade 12 so everyone is trying their best to come to Canada on a student visa.Once students come on a student visa they need to work 20 hours a week which they are legally allowed to work on international student visa so locals feel they are taking their jobs In US international students are only allowed to work on campus despite so many job opportunities.Colleges in Canada charge 4-5 times tuition which is profitable to the education industry and provincial government.Once these students Graduate they get open work permit where they can gain Canadian work experience and apply for PR and citizenship eventually.All this benefits the government and the educational institutions overall in terms of taxes and revenue..
