Quite an informative video making aspiring people to wait n pause n reconsider their decision abt moving to Canada

Lots of people living Canada I think 40-50.000 every Year since 2022. Cost of living, inflation, growing poverty, cost of food, Canadian HOC not capable of making any right decision for the country.

Good video and honest. As a born in Canada Canadian I agree that making friends here is tough. Not sure why. The taxes suck. I have lived abroad in Asia and South America and had a much higher standard of living than in Canada. Not sure why people want to move here since I want out.

I don't mean any disprect but we the majority (the ones who are 3, 4 generations in) don't want an Islamic government in our country. That doesn't make me a hater but it's matter of preference. What makes you think this is something we would be willing to fanthum here? While I would agree with a lot of what your points are (LGBT, pedophiles , woke society, abortion etc..) there are some conflicts with your idealogy which doesn't exactly mesh into our Canadian values and culture. Our values and customs allowed most of us to grow up in a mainly Christian or even athiest environment. Everyone of any race or creed is welcome here as long as you are willing to work hard and be financially independent. In other words no freeloading off the government. People are expected to assimilate and get along with society. We opened our doors and welcomed you remember that...

I’m confused is Palestine “the worlds largest open air prison” or is it a place where Palestinians willfully want to be? These messages are in direct conflict and are coming from the same side. The reasons you have mentioned, do make sense and I wish you all the best and pray for your next steps that you find a good place to settle soon... I suggest you to consider UAE as your next destination, specifically Abu Dhabi as a city where you and your kids will find it much comfortable to live and practice a good healthy life... you may hear that it is expensive, but trust me it is worth it, especially when it comes to Health, Safety and Environment friendly ... You have a very very good assessment on all the topics you discussed and yes its very hard to make lasting friendships in Vancouver. Part of the problem is people come and go here so the region is full of transient people.

As an atheist I wish you all the best, it's true the political games destroying the West from within. Though I'm on the side of LGBT and i believe that they should have rights like everyone else, at the same time I understand that some extreme ideologies can go and push so far and I agree that let kids be kids. My only concern is that Islamic countries do not have any rights for LGBT people at all, in fact, they are being prosecuted based on religion since religion is basically the law. Bro it's impossible to make friends here. For context, Im IndoCanadian, born in Vancouver, and whichever friends one makes from grade school are the only ones that stay. Now, within my situation, I've noticed people who are not IndoCanadian are hesitant to talk with IndoCanadians because of the influx of Indian people from India, which most of whom do not speak fluent English. Its hard to differentiate between IndoCanadians who were born here with Indians who have arrived recently. Which means people are hesitant to talk with IndoCanadians since it's assumed that we do not speak fluent English/live with foreign etiquette. But whatever ?.

If people supported the freedom convoy instead of complying with government policies, Canada and major cities wouldn't be as bad. Governments exasperate these issues and citizens have the power to make sure they don't get worse, but living in bubbles don't enact change from municipal to federal levels. This is a fall off from policies that have impacted employment, job security, small business, social programs, mental well being, immigration, food scarcity, etc.

I’m originally from Kazakhstan but have lived all my adult life in California (21-41) and now considering moving out of state or even country. I do have still another 10 years I need to live here to accomplish a few of my career goals to live more comfortably afterwards, but in a long run this is not a place to live anymore. Even in the past 20 years I’ve lived in California I’ve witnessed economy and the whole family values goes down the drain, more homelessness, less opportunities, people are more selfish, etc. I know it is happening all around the world too but as in this video it was stated, it is much harder for me to be a practicing Muslim in an environment surrounded by non Muslims (no offense) - just the lack of mosques in my vicinity, an Islamic environment for my child, halal foods, etc. There are mosques and halal food, but I have to drive for it. I have wonderful friends, coworkers and neighbors that are non Muslim and super nice and we have great relationships. But there are oftentimes situations when I wish they understood me better like with this situation about Palestine. I think Palestine is the last drop we needed to firmly make the decision to move.

Does no one understand that these people are political pawns? We have congress members and other politicians making promises and paying people to stoke these fires for votes. Only one side gains from this, Republicans. They would rather spend time flying immigrants to democratic run states than pass legislation or work at all.

I fully understand your point of view and you are untitled to your opinions. \nI understand you are asking for ideas which countries you would like to move to that will give you peace , wealth and happiness. At the same time that you decided to l\nLeave Canada you should share your opinions. \nDecision to leave without options for a better country doesn’t make sense. \nTo me your video sounds more like a complaint, light protest and if it is that you are probably right. I am not a moslum so I can only imagine but not really know how you feel! It is unfair that people are influenced by world events but not human to human. BE well !

This is what happens when you don't have a social safety net and a socioeconomic system (capitalism) that cares only about profit. Housing is a basic human need and should be a basic human right. Housing should be built for people to live in, not for investors to make a profit. Unfortunately, nothing is done for the common good - everything for profit. A reset is already overdue.

I moved out of Canada in 2023 due to the high living costs, after nearly a decade. Taxes are super high as you start making a bit more of money, healthcare is precarious (talk about preventative medicine… non-existing in Canada) and the real estate market is just the cherry on top. Making 200k plus I couldn’t buy a condo anywhere for me and my wife without accruing a lot of debt, at least a 2/3 bedroom as we both work from home. Even cities like Calgary, known before for cheap rent, have doubled the prices. \n\nToronto and Vancouver are blatantly used for money laundering and the government doesn’t care. Prices as a result have super inflated and people doing any type of decent work are the ones to pay for it. \n\nCanada is amazing if you are either VERY poor or VERY rich. The rest is better off moving elsewhere

Better be in our indigenous people on our own ancestrs land and make it prosperous again...obviously struggle will be there but thats the only solution...i found the globalization bit dangerous .....

I can understand why people want to leave or not come to Canada, weather, cold weather can last up to six months and the summer isn’t always that great. Another reason, taxes…. Canadians are taxed to death here, you are taxed on everything here and if you make good money and aren’t paying enough taxes, you could pay a good chunk come tax time. Job market sucks, there are lots of jobs but these jobs don’t pay the greatest. Cost of living has skyrocketed over the years and in my personal opinion, since Justin Trudeau has been PM, everything has doubled in cost, so many people are struggling, many young couples can’t afford a house, rent has been on the rise over the years and so many people rely on the food banks, the highest it’s ever been in Canadian history, crime has gone up and drug use has also gone up and oddly enough, ever since Trudeau has been in charge and I’m sure some will disagree with this but Canada was never like this before Trudeau.

You’re 100% right, about all of it minus the rage. Id say Ontario and westward i agree but Quebec and east of there make a LOT less I’d say net 35,000$. And that’s the high end. A lot of people use to come here to build a new life as well as support their families back home. Now you can barely support yourself, god forbid you trying to support your own household. What’s the point when our government just punishes us more and more for trying to survive. I lived in 8 provinces it’s all the same bs. Alberta is the only semi possible place to make it anymore.

I think your reading of the situation is slight from the wrong end of scope. \n\n1> the job of the Canadian gov is to look after Canadians. (Yes they allow immigrants but that is for the benefit of Canadians and not the other way around. \n\nThe house prices are intentionally kept high. The reason is because it makes existing citizens richer. (Year on year) these people vote and the gov would like their vote) . Creating huge supply of housing is going to crash the market and that will end up people feeling poor. (Values will drop : demand and supply) . Falling values mean people will feel poor and then less likely to vote for the current administration.\n\nI am based in UK which is experiencing record amount of immigration. \n\nTaxes here are high.(I don’t mind high taxes as long as there are good public services to show for them) \n\nGood roads \nHigh speed internet \nGood infrastructure \nHospitals \n\nSo the job of the gov (in western hemisphere) generally is to keep the voting public happy. \n\nThat involves \n\n1>Good public services (most are social states and people accept high taxation as a trade off for good public services) \n\n2> rising house prices. (Voting public wants to feel richer and owning your home is like your retirement and pension pot. Most of the wealth in uk is stored in property. (I guess same in Canada to some extent ) \n\n3> control of immigration. People want immigration but want good immigration l. People who will come and contribute to society. Too much of it can be an issue for existing citizens and also immigrants themselves selves.\n\n\nOn a separate note. People deciding where to settle always remember. Long term the proximity to the world matters . Europe is still the centre of the world. Cross east to Asia and west to Canada and USA etc. living in Canada (west coast specially is like the edge of the world just like living in NZ ) \n\nPopulation matters. \nThe Canadian population and Australian population is less than of Uk (as far as I know ) and the land mass is huge. It is not a big market compared to some of the countries compared to Europe. \n\nMore people = more demand = more big companies want to compete =lower prices for consumers and less inflation .\n\nJust some thoughts on this last day of 2023z happy new years all .

High taxes, high cost of living, housing woes, limited opportunities may be valid reasons ( add to that cold weather ) but crime, government and inablity to make friends ? Crime may be up but it is nowhere close to make people feel insecure. Try San Francisco. Government works and is relarively corruption-free. Only problem are polricians who make bad policies. Public safety should never be compromised. Canada and the US are on the wrong track and both these countries need to punched pretty bad so that they learn a lesson. Both these countries have decriminalized crimial behavior and habits. Drug use and drug trade is very prolific in bth these countries and violent crimminals are operating with impunity. Of course, we didn;t get here in one day and it is the majority of voters who are respoinsible for this situation in both these countries. And what is worse is these 2 countries are the worst hypocrcites and ultimately the people are responsible for electing wrong people and making the wrong choices, Immigrants need to do their homework instead of blaming Canada and others for their plight if their life is hell in canada.

First of all, we should be careful with the use of the word “hijrat”. There are countries(I happen to be born and brought up in one of them) where muslims actually have a history of persecution, often resulting in riots, deaths. If you compare with Prophet Mohd. saws’s hijrat, it was a result of prosecution, suffering and life risk. Relatively speaking, sometimes our first world problems may look big, but they’re not really, compared to the state of Muslim lives in other countries. \nI have lived in Dubai(2 yrs), US(8 yrs) and Canada(1+ yr) and I want to say that Canada is a beautiful, diverse country for people from all faiths and backgrounds, so much better than what I have experienced living in the above mentioned countries and my own.\nThe grass is always greener on the other side and often we don’t understand these things until we experience them on our own. Make sure that you guys do extensive research in every aspect of your future lives and not just those top reasons mentioned in your video - for each of the probable countries on your list. May Allah guide you to the right path.

Born and raised in Canada. Like all western places, you need tons of money to have a great life. It's true that everything's gotten worse. It's hard to make friends--it's easier in most other places. The people are very resigned, complacent--in other words, fearful and subservient. People in general have a poor undertanding of geopolitics...lots of naivite. There are some genuinely kind people but most are burnout, struggling to get by, living with their parents.

Assalamu'alaikum, I am from Indonesia, I should be more grateful that I live in muslim country that can hear the beautiful voice of adzan five times a day, easy to find halal food and also my mom provide me learned reading qur'an since I was a child, also feel the solemn of Ramadhan month with people reading qur'an every night from the masjid using speaker. That I believe I cannot hear on non muslim country. Thank you for your share and make me realize that I should thank Allah more. Hope you find a good place to stay with the family and raise your kids in Islamic environment.

Just remember wherever you guys pick make sure that they speak the same dialect that you do otherwise you're going to have that learning curve of learning their dialects. It is different in a lot of places like learning to speak like the yemeni do is different than the Pakistani. So just keep that in mind. My grandfather is from Yemen and his wife who is my grandmother and my dad's side is from sudan. And they used to tell me it took them a while to understand each other. My Syrian grandmother on my mom's side would teach me words and phrases and my grandpa who was from Yemen would always make fun of me because I wasn't saying stuff right. I'm not really good at speaking Arabic but I can get by so just remember when you guys are picking somewhere to pick a place that won't be that hard to understand people. I'm only saying that because with the kids you guys send the kids to school they may learn a different dialect than what you taught at home and it will be a learning curve for them to try to understand. But I'm sure you guys will make the right decision. I just figured I would throw that in there I'm sure you already know that the dialects are a lot different and Arabic is a lot different in different parts of the world. People think Arabic is all the same and it's really different. Just like people who speak Spanish in South America speak different dialects on the Puerto Ricans just like people in Brazil don't speak Spanish they speak portuguese. Just a thing to think about. Egypt seems to be a pretty good place I have family that live in Egypt and they really liked it but I'm sure you guys will pick a place that's wonderful for your family and I can't wait till you guys know when we can see everything that you guys are doing in your new home Korean and I totally understand I am so upset the United States took the stand that they did with the genocide in Gaza and in the occupied West bank. People don't understand exactly what's going on there they don't know if they're not really up on current events and don't have any people in their family who are from a Muslim country they don't really know what's been going on. We made Hijra with our 4 children to Egypt almost 2 yrs ago Alhamdulilah and it has been the best decision Alhamdulilah. One thing you will hear from most people sisters in Particular we feel free here to practice our Deen Alhamdulilah. It’s Allah’s blessing to make Hijra for his sake. I have never related to a social content as much as i related with this video. I prayed to Allah for this migration to Canada only to realise that i was a trap, a foolish decision. I have faith in my Almighty and his decisions thus i am praying again to Allah to make my paths in a muslim country where i can practice my religion with pride and surround myself with similar people. Come to Australia we live in western Victoria side.islamic culture and community two mosques near us and three islamic schools.\nTrying to make my son Alim along with other secular degrees \n\nBut yes inflation is here too but two people working can have good life if you are not greedy of becoming a home owner and have big cars. We live on rent my husband is working only.we have three teens all going good \nLife is not luxury but very happy with good muslim friends.

Canada is becoming worse every day anyway!!! Salary are low (while cost of living is skyrocketing), which is why we have so many Canadians and immigrants who are becoming so anxious, depressed and facing all sorts of mental problems), people are moody, quality of life is decreasing and transport is trash compared to France and the lack for doctors is making this country look like a third world\nEconomy!!! Even Canadians are happy to leave this place and honestly, we think of leaving it too for another country.. that you can trust me! (My 2 younger sisters are actually leaving and makes plans to leave Canada behind for good to immigrate elsewhere and my older brother plans to relocate to a warmer country.\n.. and NO!! Salam aleikum, I am European who twenty years ago accepted Islam alhamdulillah. I was a student at university when I first met practicing Muslims and during my year abroad in Canada I got to experience the Muslim community and made the decision to accept the truth. It actually makes me sad to see that Canada goes down the way you described. I like the Canadian people and have beautiful memories from the time I spent there. \n\nAs a European Muslim I also started considering hijra. But my case is a bit complicated: I am the caregiver of my two parents who suffer from ALS and dementia ? As they are totally dependent on my presence, practically I cannot leave....but I also feel the negative things as you described them for Canada. With maybe one exception: our winters are milder and I enjoy our summer. When I travelled to Saudi ,Turkey and Morocco: I liked all of them, but the weather was just too much for me ?

My husband is from Gaza, all of his extended family was killed and these three months have been the most emotionally depleting, we also found out we are 2 months pregnant alhamdulilah and because we want to make sure the little one gets the islamic education and lives in a safe environment we can't possibly stay in Canada (we live in Vancouver, almost no visible muslims here). I'm a revert from Europe so people get so confused when they see me in hijab, it's uncomfortable and scary. Given the fact that my husband grew up in Gaza, we would like to move somewhere where islamic values are still very strong and people didn't exchange them for Shakira concerts (I think we all know which country i'm talking about) so our safest bet as of now is Kuwait and Qatar. More strongly Kuwait as there's a big Palestinian community. Hope this helps!

I'm not Muslim, but I agree with many points they are making. And, I also support Peace between all regions, and believe that the world would be a much better face if all people of faith did as well. I wish this nice family to achieve all they are hoping for in the Islamic country of their choosing.
