I was born in Canada, I want to leave.

If Canada had a real labour shortage the wages would be very high to attract people yet there are few if any jobs and they pay minimum wage or slightly more.Another byproduct of a woke system is the incentive to work has been taken away.In the past men strived to make top dollar but since western women are undesirable there's no marriage or kids and no one can afford a house so men do the bare minimum or don't work at all.A man doesn't need to work 60 hours a week making 200k a year if he's alone so no need for that high stress job which means no need to go to college or university to get that job.Society puts down men and women claim they don't need men then everybody wonders why men don't join the military anymore this all starting to make sense now?

I would like to know how to find a job. How to go directly to find Architect job any where in Canada. I would like to receive a guide like apply to this, another and another specific company...

In the 1960s and 70s, my parents and some of their friends left authoritarian Yugoslavia for Canada. Now, some of their children are leaving Canada for the same reason. The main reason behind why groceries, furniture and every kind stuff costs so high in Canada compared to other countries is because, every product that is imported to Canada is like 4k super high quality of stuff. Like let's say for example other countries imports products that are like 720p or even 480p. But people who didn't live out of Canada will never understand this from every single home product to brick to material of every kind in Canada is of 4k quality. So, maintaince of those is 5x times to 10x times more. That's why everything costs so much. If you buy like 10kg of let's say an Indian brand of flour that costs 15 Canadian dollars. Same product will cost you in other places no less than 5-7 dollars. You know why? Because another reason is imported food and materials to Canada is very expensive as well. On top of that the size of the whole country. It's huge. With being most least densely populated country. You add up the transportation costs, the higher quality of the products. Everything adds up.

Its sad whats happening in Canada. Hopefully it gets better over time. Alot of dreams fading. Just sad but at the same time some persons are thriving.

this is such anmisleading title. the shelter system was doubled in size since pandemic and still full. the poorest inthe city have themselves not been able to get in. no one specifically blocked migrants. instead, the demographics ofthe system is mostly migrants and the city every month houses many paying market rent for housing and the lowest income people in the city for generations without bwnefits themselves on waiting lists longer than a decade are increasingly on the street. who is also standing up for them? with the residents who live here already precariously housed and homeless, how can people expect a home and income available to all upon arrival? \n\nall i a, saying is equity among the longtime residents of the city and migrants to housing and shelter. with no vacancy, this rise in migration either needs ro be spread across canada with federal funding for alllow income people or slow it down. all people on odsp get $500 for shelter and migrants get $1675+ $400 from OW. \n\nthats the problem

I came to Canada with the hope of a better life and it was a better life for a while until I had to deal with work politics and quit my job. And the so called healthcare system? I gave birth to a girl here who devloped cancer (never have we had that in any branch of our families) then died here from errors that could have been avoided. The taxes? High to support services that dont really benefit. The culture? Outwardly welcoming but inwardly judgemental. The weather? Has nothing on anywhere else in the world. So is Canada really worth it? Make the dollars and buy land in your country's home town. Visit Canada for a seasonal summer job then live at home peacefully among those of your culture and grow your own land.

Retirees are also leaving. With the exchange rate with the Canadian dollar, people's retirement savings go much farther in a third-world country than living in Canada. Besides, healthcare for seniors is likely going to get much worse in Canada over the next decade.

You guys are from the okanagan ?? We (hubby and i) have considered moving from Canada as well. We are baptist and very very few churches preach the same things we preach here.. so can understand how you feel. As someone born and living in Canada I'd love to live in Singapore. I'd pay a premium to live in a country where the government was run by serious people and there weren't deranged homeless people everywhere, there was law and order, pro capitalist laws, etc. Housing and living expenses are awful in Canada, but I'd honestly be fine with that if I thought it was worth living here, or I saw a future in this country. I'm not criticizing you for moving to Canada though. If you like it here I think that's great.
