I am Canadian, and living in Asia and you could have described the place I am living and or the many places I have traveled to in Asia and the South Pacific. If you can tell me a country that is a GARDEN OF EDEN please share.

Canada- It's not highly educated immigrant... they are English speaking labourer who come with hope no good industry nor high paying jobs... I live in the US and it is a great place for business but if you are black, you have harder obstacles to overcome. You can find articles about black business owners have a harder chance of getting investments and business loans compared to other races. There are many successful black entrepreneurs but for them to even see the success, they had to go through a lot of hardship and this is part of the reason why blacks prefer to move to Europe.

The USA is good if you’re willing to overwork to make money… you will basically work work work and that’s not a good life. I recommend USA if you are young and want to flex in the future. I work every day in America and I’m not missing anything but I feel like a slave honestly. Canada is good for foreigners that are trying to get PR and a Citizenship from a western country quick because Canada needs a lot of immigrants due to its size. Canada is not good to live because it’s just so damn cold and housing costs too much. Europe is good if you’re trying to be lazy because the government likes to give money and health insurance is free but it’s hard getting PR and Citizenship. In Europe the income is very low on average compared to the US but the reason is cause there’s just so much overtime available in the USA and things are more 24/7. Europe is better to start a family and safety security…. But you will be giving up working super hard in the USA to make good amount of money…. Pick your poison. I recommend going to Canada to acquiere a Citizenship quick then go to USA and work like a slave with a lot of overtime for 10-15 years and before your 40-55 years old you move to Europe…

I was going moved on Toronto Canada this was 1984. I was I probably didn't notice rascist, but I had to leave Toronto, Canada cause funeral in USA. I graduated university in 2014 and despite applying aggressively, I could barely get a job interview. Jobs that could pay enough for me to afford housing, transportation, and food, as well as student loan payments, simply were not available to me. I moved to Beijing and stayed there for 9 years before moving to Malaysia earlier this year. I'm never going to live in Canada again.\n\nEven if my opportunities in Canada improved, the lifestyle I could afford there will always be worse than what I'd have somewhere else.

This is not just a canada Problem but is being faced world over. Its never easy to immigrate to a country. People fail to research and understand the challenges they would face and how to overcome them. They usually have a well paid job and decide to move to canada thinking its easy then cry about the smallest inconveniences. You are moving to canada to live a better life and turn your life around, start by changing yourself first to be more canadian and western ( ideologies). How can this people be given visa and saying that more job in canada whiles canadian are living homeless and jobless in there own country

I'm from Asia and recently moved to Canada with my family to live a slower-paced and safer life. I've seen firsthand that the drug problem here is worse than it was back home, and they're being coddled with no plans to discipline or rehabilitate them. I asked my friends how I could defend myself and my family if a random drug addict broke into our house and stole our belongings; could I at least beat that person up until the police arrived? They said you couldn't because you'd be charged with assault. It's funny. \n\nApart from the crimes and exorbitant living costs despite living in a rural area, even Canadians who have lived in the country since birth are struggling to make ends meet. \n\nSome positive comments, Canada provided me with a work-life balance that was not possible in Asia due to the competitive nature of the corporate world. So I had time to spend with my family, and you don't have to travel abroad to see beautiful scenery. Canadians are also very accommodating and friendly, in contrast to where I came from, where people will not help unless it benefits them as well. The Canadians here are extremely friendly. So Canada is great because of its people, but I can tell you that the government consistently makes bad decisions about how to solve certain problems, such as drugs and harm reduction strategies. Another issue is that they do not recognize internationally trained professionals, which could have helped alleviate healthcare issues in our area, where we have many internationally trained nurses from the Philippines working as restaurant servers and janitors. We have doctors from Kenya who have to work as general laborers and in other odd jobs where they can use their profession and experience to help people. I am also an immigrant, but the government should strategically distribute us based on our qualifications. I chose a rural area because I don't want to add to the number of immigrants in big cities and instead want to contribute to the local economy by bringing my skills and experience to the pool. \n\nCanada is a wonderful country, and I continue to believe so, but the government must reward and do more for its people who are trying their best to make this country great.

So after moving from USA to Canada and now living in Switzerland, my only regret is that, I should have moved to Switzerland first. If I start talking about the growth I have achieved here, I wouldn't finish. So a person like me will never agree with you over all the points raised except for the language barrier.

Not sure how you falled in love with Toronto. Not much to offer compared to Paris, London, New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, Edinburgh, Tokyo. Sorry but it doesn't deserve all that attention and that crazy cost of living. 3 museums, a cn tower, a lake, that's about it. Even Chicago is a lot better in term of public transport, cleaner too. Montreal has more charme as well.

I left Toronto 20 years ago after living there for 8 years. I didn’t feel welcome and was worried about my livelihood. A lot of Canadians I’ve met were very close-minded and not friendly at all. They weren’t interested in other cultures and would rather hold onto stereotypes against “others”.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become the North Korea of the western world.\n\nTheir are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. I am from the Philippines, and I have many relatives in Canada, and they are FRUSTRATED about the high costs of living, many of them, especially the Older generations are coming back to the Philippines, because of the HIGH costs of living, fortunately for me, I choose to MIGRATE to the US, which is for me is a LOT easier, again, maybe this is according to your own settings.

I am a Toronto Native, a nurse that used to work in Critical Care at Sunnybrook, but moved to Dubai as my husband received a job offer. That was more than 10yrs ago. I must say that every time I visit home, things are definitely worse. I notice that ppl are very negative and also rude. It's quite startling. I also see how much the demographics have changed as well. The city is also dirtier and not as pretty. I can say that if I ever returned, I would consider Vancouver, somewhere outside of the city, or on the island, but for now, I can say that I will never return to live in Toronto., We will go someplace else like Mexico where it's close enough for family to visit and it's close to home. Btw, Toronto is NOT the most diverse city in the world, it's Dubai, and UAE as a whole, where 85% of the population is born outside of the country.

In america we like to shut out the people that are proven skilled and competent for mass migration of low skill, low educated, low/no English language understanding, with no clear understanding of where they are from and why they are hear. And by literally the 100,000s from the sourth borders from month to month. Where they can live here without documents and be part of our permanent surf class. I guess someone has to pick the crops, frame the houses, and clean the toilets. It's a disgrace to both them and us that we have built a system like this to sustain population growth and economic power.

4-5 months of the year, it's miserably cold. Our nation's capital, Ottawa, is virtually uninhabitable for 3 months every year due to dangerous wind chill values. Healthcare is a disgrace. Cities aren't worth the money. The nation's too massive for public transit to be viable anywhere rent is low enough to live in. Most of us know Poilievre should be flushed down a giant toilet, but it's way WAY past time that Trudeau resigns/retires.

Man WE should move out of that cold country and go where it’s better to live. The developing countries are growing fast and are about to surpass us, the broom in the butt countries. We’ll soon be the immigrants and you can count me in. Population growth is also slowing here and there won’t be an infinite amount of immigrants.

The government still thinks with 750 dollars welfare money a human being can live in canada. Single guys have to live in dumps called rooms in basements and couples have to give away 75 percent of their combined income to rent a half decent apartment. So much for the canadian dream life! Looking back after 28 years living in canada i think i was better off living as an alien in usa than living here. I am still lucky to have a house otherwise i would have been in a mental hospital now. Dirty cities, over crowded hospitals, freezing temperatures, high taxes and many more issues. Still canada is better than 90 percent of the world but to have a little better life you have to sacrifice a lot, almost all your life.

To be honest, i have second thought as well of leaving Canada... i love Canada but i find it so hard to live.. not jist extremely cold weather during winter but you have to chase your hobbies as well and the way of living here is supee high... I am an islander..i came from a beautiful tropical island..and I really miss home so much..white sand beach, tuquoise water, whale watching,dolphin watching,island hopping,scubba diving, free diving , mountain hiking, and more... i really miss it..i am planning to settle my retirement back home...

I came here as a student back in 2017 it took me more than 5 years to understand the system.. I lost so many things after all this years.. Now things have changed for everyone.. My time has come to live my rest of my life in a better place...

ive always been proud to be canadian but not anymore. we are giving newcomers (refugees) thousands of dollars to get their lives set up with free rent for a year while a veteran and young kids sleep on the street, without access to basic services....no wonder so many of them turn to drugs.
