As a Muslim I feel pain for him. I live in india and i havent seen any of my sikh friends in schools, colleges and even in my work place carrying a kirpan or knife, i have seen only nihangs or sikh priest carrying them. I think when you move to a foreign land you tend to show your identity aggressively to be different, even muslims in western countries are more radical than here.

As a Indian people say kirpan a knife or weapon. what about other religion ? As per a Muslim hijab it's not so necessary to wears it all time but in Sikh religion who practices a Amrit dhari are necessary to carry a kirpan and a kirpan not longer than 4 or 6 inches as per American rules ?

Don't leave your territory your country. It's right in context to other countries. If you go to different nation it's their rules their land. For example Muslim nations don't allow other religions and practices in their territory while they do all they want in different countries. You can't have a citizenship in middle eastern countries and half of the middle eastern people are American now. Rules are equal for all, don't get offended though.

If any of the religious things are not allowed in that campus u better leave that kirpan outside as u are under the law of that institution. But if any other like muslims women wear hijab and stuff and they arr only targeting u then u should raise a complain.

Islamophobia is common sense! In any democratic nation's constituency, the moment they cross 30% electorate they'll actup, impose Sharia laws.
