If you want to see what mass immigration from one culture can do, just look at Bramladesh, aka. Brampton. You want a drivers license, no problem, $300 and you pass. Truck drivers license, $800. Mortgage, bribe the broker/underwriter 1% of the mortgage amount and you can easily get one from a big bank even if you don't actually qualify. Rental housing, 2 to 4 students per bedroom, assuming they can get housing at all. Multiple people using the same health card. Multiple workers using the same ID. Three drivers per transport truck, one legal and two illegal so it can be operated 24 hrs a day. Just the tip of the iceberg as I'm certain there are many more scams/loopholes being utilized than I'm aware of. Many Indians are hard working, just trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, live in horrid conditions until they can afford better. On an individual basis I don't blame them, but when you import EN MASS, and they all live together in the same area, then the culture of that area changes to the one they are coming from.

Most of the legal immigrants are over qualified under paid hard workers, paying higher taxes, getting almost nothing in return. A lot of Canadian have a misconception about Indian students. Majority of the students who came after the pandemic were business professionals who took the pandemic as an opportunity to get back to education. They chose Canada because of its beauty and friendly people. The reality of which is they paid 3 times as much tuition as a Canadian, got abused at their work place for bare minimum wage. They paid a hefty price for a degree that no country recognizes. Its funny how your PM cashed your CERB cheques with the cash of international students. Its sad how Indian students follow the legal process to enter your nation and get hate for being illegals. Students who have a CRS score 500+ struggle to make a living while your government provides easy immigration by asylum to people who themselves burned their countries down. Its sad to be in a nation where getting a call connected to the CRA takes more time than getting political asylum. Your government spends your tax money on asylum seekers and their 6-7 kids who come with them and not international students. We bring money to your nation. 7 billion dollars is what the students bring your nation every year, while your PM sends 5 times as much to fund someone else’s war. International students are not the issue like the Government wants you to think ... its the massive inflex of illegals in our County, being provided with housing subsidies and health care. Jobs taken from Canadains. That's the problem. Legal immigration has never been a problem.

The majority are illegal's, asylum seekers, refugees, people on open work permits or LMIA and international students thinking they can stay permanently. You need to prove you have the funds and somewhere to live or work. Many don't know they get Government bonuses/Tax rebates etc. for hiring newcomers. Which is why you see more newcomers then Canadians being hired now.

It is not just immigrants as I do not believe they are the biggest issue, Illegal immigrants for sure and that is totally on our border services/government. The bigger issue in my opinion are refugees and asylum seekers. We can not take in these massage numbers of people from war torn countries and not expect our crime raid to sky rocket. Nor can we continue to bring others of cultures that go against our believes. We have seen the drastic rise in hate, intolerance of different believes which was not here before. We simply do not have the capacity for support them in any manner when we are failing the people that live here.

Why do they come to Canada, if not for the benefits? Why do these countries not set up their own Universities, where former international students go back home and teach their country and students what they learned here. It would be cheaper for them, and they can stay in their own country. But, they don't want to do that as they see Canada as the country of opportunities to bring their whole extended families here. We are already facing housing shortages, and don't need any of this type of opportunistic citizenships. They need to drastically cut the amount of foreign students allowed in. This year they are allowing 485,000 students. This does not take into account the students who are in high school or those studying for their master’s or doctoral degree's. In total it is 552,000. Then add on the Immigrants at 485,000, illegals or asylum claims( which is at record high numbers, could not find the figures for this year), then the migrant workers which are estimated between 700k to 900k. This is all too much. Drastic cuts need to be made, and this government that allowed all that to happen needs to be ousted out.

A complete stop on illegal immigration. Send those came in illegally back home. A check of all those that came in under the claim for asylum, background check, history check, vet them correctly. A complete stop on new international students. Close all loop holes that have been used to by-pass our laws. A moratorium on immigration for a minimum of 10 years or longer, that way the legal immigrants can be processed in a timely manner. Anyone who refuses to pledge allegiance to Canada and reject hatreds from their previous counties need to be deported immediately. It is alarming how many young people do not think Canada doesn't have a culture. Sympathy for those with a sob story real or not is over.

I grew up in Brampton since the early 80s and witnessed the massive cultural/demographic shift over a period of 20 years. Now, it has become the place to go for a lot of the newcomers, and that was what it was. However, with the recent illegal immigration there has been an unprecedented spike in crime. Firearms, drugs, pr@stitution, car theft, and home break-ins have all gone through the roof. I know that it still hasn't reached Toronto status yet, but we are very close considering the size of the population. We need to deal with home first before we take on the worlds problems.

My girlfriend has been living in canada illegal for the las 15 yrs. She was deported 10 yrs ago for working with someone else's S.I. N. after immigration was called. Immigration told my company that the only way she was able to stay at my company if they were able to pay her cash. 17 yrs later and she works for the same company for cash. Tax free. I go with her, and others to bodegas in Toronto where they cash all cheques in the back room at the end of the bodegas. No questions asked. The reason Immigration was called was because the S.I.N she was caught with had $10.000 thousand unpaid taxes over the years. And the person that let her use her card for $300 each month needed the card to go on welfare. No one had to pay the taxes. My company today is 90% illegal workers. All in hotels all over Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga you name it.

I am shocked to hear this from a CBC reporter saying IMMIGRANTS get money from the government!! Where on earth did you get this ,outrageous information!! People who apply to come to Canada as legal immigrants , have to go through a strict points system.that can take years . Plus medical and security checks. These students are from very wealthy families who often have housemaids and servants to do domestic chores and who can afford to pay ridiculous student tuition for a second-rate Canadian post-secondary education. Moreover, there are very good tech jobs in India in cities like Bangalore. What these students are really after is Canadian citizenship, through a pathway that does not require strong qualifications. They were promised that by Indian immigration consultants. With Canadian citizenship, it is much easier to travel and live in the US, where many of them want to go (and some are even now entering illegally). \nA second reason is that these younger adults want to live independently from their parents. Many of them arriving in Canada are living on their own or with other students, for the first time in their lives, and are enjoying a lot more freedom from Indian social norms such as not being able to date people of a different religion or sexual orientation, or to marry the person of their choice instead of having parents involved. Three or four generations ago, when a lot of immigrants came after WWII, those from India were coming to large research universities or engineering firms and had a job or full fee waiver or university fellowship waiting for them. There IS NOT a lack of housing in canada , there IS ONLY an affordability problem along with far too much immigration by volume and time frame . Our services and infrastructure (ie; transit services , health care , employment , realisticly affordable housing , finances , etc .) are no where near adequate to accomodate canadians even before the over populating of foreigners . They have been coming here and buying up all the affordable housing during , and post pandemic , with offers far above listed or fair market values , to push owners to sell without question or thought . Following this they stack multiples into these homes illegally and against code , to be able to take up all employment at wages that canadians can't survive on ,forcing them out of employment , homes or both . Once stable and trained to know that business operation , one of their people buy the business and no longer hire any canadians . YES ! TRUE FACT!! How is this accepted ?
