That guy clearly said that Canada welcomes all immigrants. These people risked their lives to cross the border. I remember all the stories about people getting freezer burns just to escape from US but now they just ended up in the same predicament. That’s very sad.

The level of entitlement is shocking. More firmly controlled borders with clear guidelines would be far more fair and humane.

I worked construction in my summers and I know skilled carpenters, even the ones that never went to trades school, can easily make $45/hr in Calgary if they subcontract or even $40 on payroll and its not even boom times. A lot of guys I worked with were easily clearing $100 000 a year but the problem is they choose to buy brand new pickup trucks on instalments or have overall poor saving habits. Hours are really long too. What I noticed about wages in Vancouver and Toronto are that they are really bad for construction workers, I know a guy in Vancouver whose a layout journeyman making only $21 a hour, a labourer in Calgary starts out at usually $19-20.

RE: Canadian healthcare, my wife broke both her hips in 2017 in two separate falls, she was admitted immediately to hospital without delay and operated on the next day (half hip replacement), after physio and occupational therapy she was discharged and provided Homecare, 16 times per week plus weekly Day Hospital. Our cost for both operations was roughly $160.00 for parking spots for me so I could visit her and about $140 in Tim Horton doughnuts for staff. The system does not have enough of certain types of specialists thus wait times for those specialists, and there are wait times for elective surgery. The system has not really been reviewed since its inception in the 1960s but making significant changes is the third rail of Canadian politics and a hard look is justified after 70 years. Re: illegal crossings; The gentleman in the video has a problem in that the US and Canada have signed a “safe country” agreement and neither will accept refugees from the other as both Canada and the US are deemed “safe havens”. He crossed illegally, if he had crossed legally he would have been immediately turned back at the border but he clearly entered the country between border crossings and was likely arrested and released on recognizance but not returned immediately as the agreement is silent on illegal entries (yes, seems a touch strange). As many people are leaving the US for Canada the system is overwhelmed. Tent cities have been set up in Quebec and public housing used in Manitoba to house illegal immigrant pending processing - those with criminal records are held for deportation. Canada has accepted roughly 25,000 Syrian refugees from camps in that part of the world. These refugees were first vetted by the UN then Canada. These refugees are completely different from the people crossing the border illegally from the United States. This pales to the 75,000 boat people accepted after the fall of Saigon. Canadians have been generally accepting of refugees but wants the process guided by the rule of law. Immigrants are a separate from refugees and the rules governing their entries into Canada are different.

These are not asylum migrant, but economical migrants. Why dont they go back home and make el Salvador better? Afraid to work for peanuts? Then, you can start your own revolution. They do not come to the US to integrate but only for the money as clearly demonstrated in this case, F..k him and his family.

walmart is trash. I got asked for my receipt (only me!). I handed him the receipt but didn't offer my shopping bag. I just kept holding. I looked at him, he looked and me then he looked at my receipt then handed it back. NO-ONE should be allowed in ANY-PUBLIC-PLACE if they cannot be very clearly identified. There should be NO EXCEPTIONS for this. If people cannot/will-not accept this they must not be allowed to LIVE in a civilized country , and NO-ONE so-dressed should be allowed through customs and immigration.

When I lived in Egypt it was extremely rare to see a woman ride a horse, drive a car, ride a bike or go swimming, or even jogging. I was a rare exception because I was American and did all of the above, however none of my female friends could or would do any of the things that I just mentioned. Ask yourself, why the hell are they coming to our home lands?!?!

Regarding the girl who received less while wearing the veil than when wearing nothing/ a hijab: Don't get me wrong the things some poeple said to her were horrible, but i think its just natural that someone would be more willing to donate to someone whose face is clearly visible as they could be more sympathetic towards them based on their expressions and such. After all, would you donate to someone who was wearing a hockey mask or a balaclava? (I'm not implying that these are in any way the same, but remember that the Qaran does not state that they have to wear a full veil, just some food for thought). Some may argue that this intrudes on basic human facial expressions to one another.) Not only can people feel uneasy when they see someone in a burqa, but it can also be dangerous to the very person underneath it. The burqa isolates women from others and can hide evidence of abuse or assault. It advocates segregation of muslim women in public, which is blatant discrimination within itself, whichever way you look at it!!!

I am czech, we relatively recently (1989) get rid of totalitarian communists here.I just do not get how is it possible that Canada or Muslims in general are so welcoming to the totalitarian systems - where women are forced to cover the faces. I mean - why the feminists or free thinkers are defending some practice, which is obviously against women and 99% of women wearing it worldwide are forced to do so by men - in countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran. I don't want Islam in my country, not because I hate them but because religions have their own set of moral principles and beliefs, Islam is clearly not compatible to our secular system. I'm not religious myself and I live in the west coast where there are few muslims, but just based from the discussions I've had with transfer students that come to my university I already don't like what I hear. They were nice, kind of, but all of them had backwards ideas. If you need a better reason to be against it, simply read the first few pages from the Quran, it is deplorable, more so then the bible. \n\nIf they want to integrate, their beliefs need to be reformed like Christians have centuries ago.

If moderate muslins don't stand up publicly and clearly against the extremists and retards of their religion, they all will be more and more put away from modern society. Will return to caves. Maybe they will be happier that way.

As a multi generational Canadian, I don't really care whether they cover their face or not. That's their choice. During my life I've seen all these different forms of conservative dress from catholic nuns, to Hutterites to Mennonites and these people are just part of the mix. What this is designed to do is to create a barrier between themselves and the larger society which is fine. I would never interact with one of these woman ever because the thin flimsy barrier makes it clear that she is not interested in talking to anyone for any reason and again this is fine. If she was with a man I would talk only with the man and completely ignore her and if she was with a male child I would talk to the male child, not to her. I don't normally chat with women who are strangers other than now and then in a supermarket line or whatever. This face thingy frees me from the need of chitchat small talk and I'm good with that. In any case we would have absolutely nothing in common.

I think a concern for the Islamic doctrine could be a valid concern in a secular nation. The other concern that goes right along with it is a discrimination against Muslim citizens. There is a clear ideological line that separates Islamic doctrine from Muslims, yet this line is blurred for far too many people.

Why does this woman still call herself a Muslim? She clearly recognizes the barbarity of Islam, is knowledgeable of the Quran and Hadith texts that incite the barbarity. She is trying to salvage some truth out of the bloody, muddy water that is Islam. She should search new waters to find truth.

Most places in the UK the residents do not want drinking on the streets as it leads to petty crime all the way up to violent disorder. Farzana Hassan, the women's rights activist interviewed in this video, is clearly a very courageous woman, willing to stand up for her views in spite of death threats. More power to her.

Islam has clear rules on how shariah is to be implementated and we must have an islamic state in musim lands. So patrols in non muslim lands is not the way it must be done especially that there is no state to back them up. Understand that I have read the Quran, Sunnah and some Hadith so I know full well that it is permitted to kill in Islam, I understand the contextual issue however you have 1 of 2 problems there\nEither all the violence and instructions to kill non-believers that are very clear in the Quran are for a different age and so the Quran is outdated and obsolete OR it is for all men for all time and so the verses instructing the killing of non-believers is valid hence these murderers are following Islam
