My government has turned Canadians against India by inviting millions to my country and things are only going to get worse if this keeps up

Not even Canadians can access healthcare or afford to raise a family in Canada. Trudeau has turned Canada into a playground for the wealthy.

Sorry Guardian but no one that mentioned their degrees actually have any education or skills that Canadians are lacking, the SKILLED TRADES. The gov are just letting in people and students who are filling up a glut in the market of white collar jobs, none of these people at the Institute for Canadian Citizenship who mentioned their degrees actually have skilled trades, it's just more of the same. So more competition for white collar jobs while we're STILL not bringing in enough skilled trades people. This is a recipe to turn this country poor.

They can practice their religion and traditions like anyone else. But, when you are welcomed into our country and you start wanting to raise your flag, stop us from celebrating Christmas and do U-turns everywhere you go in your car because that's what you verbally say is acceptable in your country, it becomes ridiculous and people are not responding well to any of of it. Then screaming racism and that your just being discriminated because of the color of your skin to get get suppress the situation and get what you want is absurd, while being smug in born and raised Canadians faces. \n\nI find it funny that I have yet to meet a new immigrant that has come to Canada and they all claim to have been born here. If this is not controlled, as in, not allowing them in because we have no room, it's because Trudeau wants it to happen. On my LinkedIn I get people from all over the world who want to come, from Europeans to Brazilians and all these people contact me looking for opportunities. Our gov't prioritized low wage workers who they can practically enslave with minimum wage short term then turn around and kick them out.\n\nThis is the most egregious thing I've ever seen and they do it the most Canadian way too, with a smile and popish attitude. \n\nAll these Walmart, Tim Hortons, basically all these service jobs should be going to locals and locals ONLY! I've never seen an indian eating from Tim Hortons but 100% of the people who work there are indian. Why? because they're working in slave labor.

Now that Canadians can hardly find a cashier job thanks to Indians. Indians have not left any job or housing for anyone else. They have turned Canada into another province of India. I feel like a stranger walking the streets of my own hometown. Shame.?????

Should be a 80% cut, not 20%. 20% is a JOKE. However, the last time they announce cuts, such as student permits, they later announce immediate permanent residency for any foreign long term care workers. So what is happening is they announce they will cut something to appease Canadians, then turn around and come up with some new way to increase immigration.

Many Canadian cities, particularly in the prairies are very car-dependent, with little public transportation or bicycle infrastructure relative to other countries. This is what causes the long commute times, because congestion is terrible and it slows down public transportation. I was visiting when I felt sick. I came home asap. Turned out I had a tumour on my brain stem. Thankfulness. 4 surgical teams, 10 hr surgery, 1wk in hosp, months of homecare, rehab and follow up mri and care. Yikes. My sis moved down in 1976, was good when she was in her 30’s while she worked. Her husband, American, went off on Canadian disability and once my sister retired their healthcare costs were crazy. They moved to a state that had better senior med care. I was visiting four yrs ago. My sis had several hosp visits due to heart issues. She ended up having open heart surgery. The hospital was lovely. Care was great. Pt care room was huge. I was used to tight icu cubicles. She had complications, day 4 the social worker came to tell her she was being discharged the next day. Her insurance had run out. There was no further coverage!!! She was in her 80’s had just had a stent blow thru her R coronary artery 5 days earlier then have bypass surgery and had just come off a ventilator the day before. I had to get back to Canada the next day. Thankfully, the social worker was able to continue working to find respite care at a nursing home for her for a couple more wks. \n\nI love certain parts of the states having spent a majority of my childhood visiting since my big sister moved there. Both countries are having issues now. Housing sucks in canada. If you aren’t doing well financially, canada isn’t all that great anymore either.

20 years living in Mississauga and they are starting moving in and pushing their way off living, they are leaving India for the better life in Canada no adopting to Canadian way of life, they turn the cites like Brampton to the dump city they left, and they love it because feels like India, so why WTF they let India.

My daughter is nearing the end of 2 great years in Canada on an IEC (backpacker) visa from Australia. She’s loved the people, the landscape (mostly lived in BC and Alberta) , and working there…. She picked up interesting jobs, worked very hard, just about made ends meet, has been great. \n\nShe was even offered a permanent job by a major Canadian co last year (she was working for them on a one year role at the time) that would’ve paved the way for her to apply for PR…but she turned it down without a second thought….. for all the reasons you would know about \n\n- Wages aren’t great (maybe 20% less than australia), \n\n- taxes are high (incl having to pay CPP…in australia the employer pays all pension contributions, on top of wages), \n\n- groceries prices out of kilter, \n\n- rents consume most of what’s left…. \n\n- AND, even if you could save a deposit for a house, or shoebox apartment….what’s the point, could never afford it. \n\nShe’s seen nearly all her Canadian friends resigned to their fate of being perennial renters, of being perpetually skint. It’s no life. She’s sad to see it - coming from a country of perpetual optimism and opportunity, to learn over time how such a (on many levels) similar country isn’t like that, that has somehow got it all so wrong. \n\nIf you are thinking of “australia” as your answer, it’d be a fair call\n\n- Avoid Sydney if you can (a less expensive Vancouver) but rest of the place is “workable”. \n\n- Average wage in Perth is $100k (C$90k) and average house (full size…not an apt or townhouse) price is about $700k (C$630k) …so do-able, if tight to start with, for youngsters (like you..!) \n\n- I’ve been to Vancouver’s East Hastings St, and so can confirm is nowhere close to that in Oz. Are sketchy parts of all cities, but it’s definitely not community wide\n\n- are small pockets of homelessness (esp but not only indigenous community) but the governments are mostly (sort of…) “on it” \n\n- sun, sea, sand… and the sharks rarely come close to shore!

Hi… I totally agree with just about everything you stated in all aspects of the Indian community. I’m a Canadian who happens to be living in Brampton for the past 12 years. I’ve watched Brampton go from a beautiful community to a dark dreaded place to live , and this is truly because of Indian behaviours. Mind you I have many genuinely good intelligent respectful Indian friends, but there’s the others that thinks they owe the city, province, and country. They don’t respect no one, and I mean no one. NOT EVEN THEIR OWN KIND (Indians/ Punjab). And yes as a Canadian citizen whenever I see something I do call them out on it. However; the moment you say something to them they assume that you’re cursing at them and what was ment to be a respectful comment becomes a situation where they want to argue and even get into a physical fight. Then there’s the bad, careless driving on the streets with no regards to the next person’s life. They drive like their car is the only one on the street yet always looking for someone to race with not to mention the illegal U-TURN creating major accidents. I personally experienced this when a Tractor Trailer Driver tried making a U-TURN on the city street with only 4 lanes for both direction at 4AM in the morning. This caused me to almost ran under the trailer body which would have been the end of my life. They butt into lines and interrupts as much as business conversations thinking their concerns are way more important than anyone else’s and That’s just to name a few things.\nNow on the other hand I do have VERY GOOD RESPECTFUL INDIAN FRIENDS who I will never let go of our friendship because of their genuine respectful relationship although even those close friends are now pulling themselves away from their own country people and all because of the others behaviour.\nThirdly; YES, the Canadian government invites foreign students into the country with improper sources to monitor and direct a governing body to monitor and process the activities of foreign students .\n\nI love your honesty in your stories back your video clips as proof of your country men behaviour. The only good Indians that came here came in the 70's and 80's they worked hard assimilated while maintaining and sharing their culture and raised good children they were polite, kind and helpful, what we have now is a bunch of asshole who need to pack their shit and leave before it turns to Canadian violence. The mayor told police to make sure Canadian citizens don’t take pictures or talk about this event. Even in my town the mayor here turned off our internet for the whole town so we could not share the terror attack done by immigrants here. The politicians from Canada and India don't care if everyone lives in poverty. And getting Canadian citizenship will not solve all your families' problems. Once Canada goes broke there will be no welfare, EI, pensions, free housing, or healthcare so you're better off staying in India where at least you know the language, laws, religion and culture. International students are probably willing to pay that much because graduating from a Canadian university is a pathway for them to immigrate to what they still perceive as a great country. But sooner or later, the information that Canada has been turned into a basket case will filter back to their home countries.

Out of 100% international students, almost 70% are indian students. From 100% temporary foreign workers, almost 70% are indians. Why the fk we only bringing indians, there is no other fking country on planet? If it is sooo important to bring people, who not bring people from all over the world just like USA. \nGo travel from east coast to west coast and you will see how indian nepotism work, once an indian become a manager at any workplace, he will go to extreme lengths to hire only Indians. This is very well researched fact in USA and Europe and now in Canada. \nPut a full stop on international student visas program and temporary foreign worker program. Close all Canadian embassies in India who handing over visas to anyone and everyone who apply for a fkkking visa. We have too many indians already and we do not want to turn our country into another Mombay.

As a FRENCH individual, here is my perspective; we humans look for what is good for us!!! I am French (I consider myself very lucky as France is a very stable and prosperous economy) but many French also look for better opportunities abroad, namely in Switzerland (higher salary and better work packages but that influx created a xenophobia against French living in Swiss) and the US (tech jobs mainly, which are better paid than in France)!!! We ALL do it!!! Many white South African women also do everything to marry British, Germans, Canadians on purpose (the media never mentions that and we know why) so that they can escape the extreme environment in South Africa!!!! It is just that the media tends to focus on black and brown people as it sells better!!! Ohhh and did you forget those many North Americans who flock to Mexico, and South America to run away from the horrendous cost of living!!!! Same for those many Canadians (a common trend those last years) who start to flock into the US to run away from higher living costs in Canada and for higher paid jobs in the US!!!! Okay may be some lesser developed countries do it but let’s realize that WE Europeans also move and emigrate when things turn “grill our ar**s” where we live!!!! Ohhh and have we forgotten already those Italians who moved to France in 1900s to escape misery and hunger in Italy!!!! Ohhh …. we already forgot!!!! And what about the Ukrainians, many of whom come to Canada now and take jobs and reap benefits from the local? Some even “taking” others husbands and breaking locals’marriages (happened to a colleague of mine last year)!!! Ohh sorry, you guys are still very busy focusing on the ones that are …. You also need to include the deluge of fake asylees with students and TFW. Everyone is so obsessed legitly with those two groups that no one is mentioning the surge of easy visitor visas to those turning into fraudulent asylum claimnants and clogging the system. They're being paid on average 17K from taxpayer (stats from govt. PBO), creating pressure on housing and jobs. As a matter of fact, this group is worse than students and TFW coshidering the latter group is paying something in the Canadian economy (although that contribution is negligible at this point). I would also like to point to not conflate real asylees with these visitor visas to asylum seekers. They are economic migrants and NOT any asylee; fraud perpetrated by JT and his incompetent ministers.

Ive lost all respect for indian nationals in this country. They are rude, do not care about others and act like they are entitiled to everything when they are just guests.\nMy family and i used to visit a nearby lake on hot summer days. \nIts been a tradition for soo many years. This year we pulled up to the beach and it was over crowded. I have never see that many indian nationals in on space in canada.\nWe left and decided to come back a couple days later. My god. The garbage! They didnt even have the decency to clean up after themselves! Fire pits full of partly burned garbage all over the place.\n\nIF YOU CANNOT RESPECT OUR COUNTRY, GO HOME! imagine how the indian authorities would act if it was canadian students protesting on their soil. Eventually, something has to be done to open eyes of people that Canadians had turned off their universities. I do not care what will be with new comers, we need some educated youth at the end. Government, do whatever. Try this and that, were have more internationals in almost all universities. That might have an impact when french and english will turn into indigenous tribe.

Indians undermind the efforts of Canadian businesses and work standards. For example, Indians running shipping cans out of Vancouver far cheaper than natural born Canadians. It took transport drivers years to raise the amount we're paid, Indians destroyed our efforts in weeks. Then there's the infiltration of Brampton turning it into Bramladesh.\nThe Commonwealth is dead, immigrants need to go home, they are NOT wanted here!

I am a 4th generation Canadian (european decent).\nMy ancestors came here and didn't try to change it into a colony of where they came from, they adapted to the Canadian culture that was apparant at the time.\nThey blended in quite quickly while maintaining there home country culture at home or at community centers.\nI have welcomed immigration my entire life and still do.
